Subway in Bath and North East Somerset

Incorrectly prepared food, some of it becoming inedible. Wrong items delivered. Delivered nearly over and hour after predicted delivery time.

Items were missing. Large coke bottle and waffle fries on the side and missing sauces.

I did click and collect at Southgate subway, I couldn’t get in the place cause the manager or someone was out? Not really an excuse of closing when the opening times said it was open. The food was terrible, bread off the sub was still frozen and crumbling. This is the second time the doors been locked when it specificity says it’s open. This subway needs Jesus. This place needs shutting down. I only went here cause it’s convenient near the bus station than it is walking to westgate buildings. Wish I could give a review with no stars, that’s how awful this place is/runs.

Ordered on deliveroo, none of the 3 subs were toasted, none of the meal cookies and crisps arrived. Phoned the store and they straight up lied about "definitely toasting the sandwiches" and also said the definitely put everything in the bag. I think I know the difference between bread and toast especially when they hadn't even put the cheese In either.

extremely slow service. waited 20 mins when only one person was in front of me. wouldn’t waste your lunch break waiting

Usually order from a different branch of Subway. One sub was fine but the other had missing ingredients, and very little of those ingredients that were added. Not a cheap sandwich, so a deal-breaker.

Although it is a franchise of a well-known sandwich brand, I was surprised by the excellent quality, flavor and abundance of ingredients compared to other establishments in other nearby countries. It is certainly worth repeating there.

I ordered 12 cookies in a box as there was 1 box left on the cookie counter but they refused to give me a box because “there wouldn’t be enough for other customers”. As a customer myself I would be ok going without if there wasn’t a box on show like there's available cookies to buy. Absolutely shocking. Terrible service! The only good thing I experienced was the air conditioning.

The interior was a bit small, but there were always people there, so it didn't feel organized. The taste was just as good as regular Subway, and it was a bit disappointing that the vegetables weren't filled until they were almost gone, so it felt like they were scraping it in at the end. Still, it wasn't bad for a decent rest while waiting for the bus.

My subway wasn’t toasted but other than that it was all good

I went in and waited like 15 minutes to buy a cookie, the two people serving were just rude, she was handling meat and other things and then she picked my cookies up a shoved them into the bag breaking some of them. I’ve had to throw them in the bin they were actually vile, I don’t know what was wrong with them but I couldn’t even eat one.

Visited Southgate Subway after four of us eating in and spending a large amount of money we were told they don’t have toilets and no baby changing facilities…..

Salad was just chucked in and the bread was hard and stale.

Poor hygiene and long hair with no nets or tied up? Really? Having hair way past the shoulder and nearly touching food! Won’t be visiting this store again.

Food freezing most our stuff was missing

Missing ingredients in sandwich. Warm Pepsi. Not impressed.

The food was cold when it arrived. The subs were falling apart. The nacho had very little salsa on the and no cheese. Standards have dropped, wouldn’t recommend.

Food was terrible quality. Worst sandwich I’ve ever had. Used to Get the same order but quality is just rubbish now and price is higher.

The place is good as we all know subway is a brand for sandwiches but the staff at this place is horrible talks to you in a rude way and never smiles back to customers we were 10 people but noone felt good to visit this place .. horrible experience

Subway never disappoints. Nothing else to say, amazing food, fast service when it’s quiet, and the atmosphere is alright, nothing special, but still clean.

Had to leave early as the staff took 10 mins to even serve me despite being only 1 person in queue then seemed unable to make the sandwich and ran off for 10 mins into the back to the fridges without letting me know. Had to leave the shop to get a train otherwise I'd have missed it. Would not recommend

1 hour wait on food, they only have one driver and he was really polite so we didn’t mind.then i open my order they forgot 5/7 elements of my sandwich and gave me cucumber and bread??? how do you forget the protein that’s literally in the name of the sandwich???? guy on the phone had no idea how to do a refund and i have to wait for them to confirm my order to do it on my end ,genuinely concerned about how they cope with more complex orders.

Ordered on Deliveroo. Food is over an hour late and still hasn’t arrived. I was told to cancel the order when I phoned them but was unable to on the app because they wouldn’t even offer a refund. I have phoned them again after over 10 times in an attempt to get a refund but have had no replies.

I actually can't remember the last time I encountered such a rude member of staff. No hello or goodbye or thank you when I paid. He slapped my sub together like it was a pile of dirty washing. If he was working in my store then he would be sacked on the spot. The lady was polite and makes a great sub. I won't return to this store.

Took some of my clinents from a care home here today and the service was amazing. The surver was patient with the people ordering. And was great with them

It took 15 mins for someone to serve use because one was too busy sorting out her pickup that she continued to talk about behind the line or was just too interested in her phone. The other girl there (septum piercing and black and red head) was doing what she could. A delivery driver had to get the crisps for the order he was picking up. The place looks grimy and just quite disgusting service from the first girl. The one with the piercing was fine.

Food was ok, the flavour & fresshness was decent, but some of the extra stuff I asked & paid for to be in my sub was missing, which was a little disppointing. Delivery was really late & the progress was not updated in the app, so the driver showed up without me knowing they were on the way. I would hope that if I had ordered out of lunch rush times that I may have had a better experience

Got the food wrong, took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive, wedges were barely cooked, sandwiches extremely messy and difficult to eat, cheese bites chewy and cold.

On the Italian BMT it was the wrong bread and it wasnt toasted very dissapointed The Meatball Marinara was not toasted either also the quavers were swapped for pombears

The team was able to call me when a desired option was out of stock and were incredible courteous to chat with. My desired option wasn't available but the replacement choice was very well-made and tasty — well done team, thanks for a great experience!

Half of the food was missing and the food that came was wrong and stone cold I ordered large nachos and I got a small and no cheese on my pepperoni slice

i went in on Monday for a bite, i asked for cheese and toasted it didn't happen , bread was dry no drink options and slow wait for food, woman looked like a pig she didn’t use gloves and sneezed in food highly recommend going to the other local subway near by

Ordered Spicy Italian with lettuce and red onion on hearty italian bread, what i got was literally nothing from what i ordered. What looks to be chicken and bacon on white italian, with sweetcorn, cucumber, pickles, peppers, wrong sauce, jalapeno. I don't get how it's so hard to read the order?

I visited this outlet recently for my lunch and was greated by the most charming and polite man, I wanted to try the new buffalo chicken but when I asked for it he told me they had ran out and was waiting for more sauce to arrive to make more and not being familiar with the menu I asked what he recommended and he pointed out that the plain chicken with bacon was much better than it's counterpart, so that's what I went for I had it toasted with American cheese, lettuce, red peppers and onions and I can 100% say I was impressed with the food and the service you provided thank you Michael I will definitely be back!

My subway hadn’t even left when it was already supposed to be at my property when it arrive I was missing ingredients in both footlong subs they looked as if they were just thrown together they were cold and soggy, will not be going back to Southgate subway I will be staying with mooreland road

Orderd a meatball sub with hearty Italian and cheese toasted got normal untoasted no cheese at all then orderd a packet of Doritos and got quavers

Guy with longer hair and bandana was great and friendly considering he was left running the shop solo! He should not be left solo at lunchtime when it's busy luckily we weren't in a rush for the train.

WOW simply the best subway iv eaten since the franchise came to the u.k and without any exaggeration I probably have about 50 subways a year, yeah that's right I said 50 a year which isn't to bad if you look at it as once a week. The service was simply on point and professional to say at the least super friendly and compassionate about their job it's not just a fast food chained restaurant but putting smiles on their customers faces If your in Bath and you want a healthy and enjoyful snack or lunch this is 100% the place to be!!!! There was no lettuce or spinach today but they still made my wrap taste as good as it normally does! RESPECT

Understaffed, member behind on uber eat orders, suppose to have 3 staff members with him, but he's still on his own, management seems to have done nothing to help his situation, feel bad for the poor guy doing the best he can.......

The driver delivered my sandwiches and my cookies on time but failed to deliver my 2x 500ml bottles of Sugar Free 7-Up. When I asked him about this he told me to phone the restaurant. I did so. They claimed they had included everything I had requested. I must therefore assume the driver is at fault. I have e-mailed Just Eat to request a refund. I am very disappointed by this poor service,

I have never come across staff at any food outlet that looked and spoke like they didn’t want to be there as much as this Subway. Upon entering (myself and my girlfriend) there was one couple at a table eating and a father ordering with his children. One of the female members of staff then says (quietly but loud enough I could hear) that she was surprised and annoyed at how it had suddenly gone from being really quiet to really busy…how terrible is your work ethic if three sets of customers is ‘busy’. The other female member of staff was completely incapable of remembering the three most common items of salad: cucumber lettuce and tomato. I had to repeat three times because she could only remember one salad item at a time. I think next time I visit this particular Subway I will simply go behind the counter and make the sandwich myself. Would be a quicker experience for both myself and the staff (god forbid my presence makes them too busy) who would clearly much prefer to do nothing for their whole shift.

Meal deal was missing the drink. One cookie was forgotten and the mini meatballs were not hot at all the cheese on top was not melted even the tiniest bit. I would expect it to be cool but this was cold.

I love this place. Ben is one the best maker of sandwiches all the time. He is very friendly, enthusiastic, always smile to customers. Shout out to him 😊😊😊. I would definitely recommend him

I ordered a meal deal and one of the items was missing.

we were served at the lowest level. I took a sandwich for my child who was not very determined what he wanted and when I said to add some spinach and some tomatoes he rolled his eyes and threw them on the sandwich. not to hear about this subway.

Awful experience. The food was on time, but everything about it was wrong. Wrong subs. The fillings in the subs were ridiculous. 6inch sub got one slice of pepper and cucumber! Called the store to sort it out but the don't have their own drivers so do nothing about it. Very poor.

The food tasted good but yesterday when I ordered my wrap I watched the gentleman not so gently manhandle my food, he even turned around half way through too start doing something else leaving me and my mother too watch in confusion on why he left my wrap half wrapped (he did finish but this is the worst service I have ever received from a subway)

It was great service but felt a bit slow,due to to the shortage of staff. The person who served us he was a man an under or around 20 years of age had a great customer service. It will be nice there's someone can support him or increases staff as we can see there was people waiting in the queue you on Tuesday day 29th of September 2020 in evening around 6.30. I request the owner and the franchisor to increase the staff

Ive only ever had one subway and it was in a service station back from Manchester when I was touring with my band the Graham snorton show it was yummy I had the vegan like meat thingy but with cheese the lady was nice and understood I didn't know how to order

Staffs are efficient and the price of the subs are quite cheap—comparing to neighbouring cities like Bristol. The cheapest 6-inch sub costs only £1.99.

Food is good as Subway ever is but they don’t seem to have cleaned the place. Wasn’t very impressed with the prep-area. Normally subway is spotless but they had sauce stains on their counter and muddled up salads. Floor was very dirty, difficult to find a table that had been cleared and don’t go near the toilet! I’m avoiding this outlet

The food was OK for Subway's standards: good quality-price. The service is awful, staff members don't even look at you while you're talking to them. A reason not to come back.
