The best restaurants in Abbey Bath and North East Somerset South West

Qué día tan FANTÁSTICO tuvimos ayer para el partido de rugby de Gales. Entramos sin reserva y éramos 34 de nosotros. El personal era increíble. Eran muy serviciales y encantadores. Acorralaron una zona solo para nosotros y eran tan atentos y amables. Hicieron nuestra visita perfecta para el rugby. Un gran saludo a Tom, Cheyenne, Xac, Shaun & Misti que cada uno hizo todo lo posible para hacer nuestro tiempo tan divertido. Las hamburguesas también eran geniales. Muchas gracias a todos. Estamos tan contentos de saber dónde estás ahora para la próxima vez ❤️❤️❤️

Fairly loyal to Caffe Nero out of the major chains, but there's something about the touristy nature of Bath that's resulted in them all being as bad as the worst inner London ones. Staff are overly-casual and loud in that vaping, generation Z, you're-oppressing-me-if-you-complain sort of way. Toilets are awful. Having said that, if you are a visitor to the UK, you can get a good fast coffee here without dealing with waitors and table services like you would in most of Europe.

No reservé, pero no hay problema que fueron capaces de limpiar una mesa para nosotros y estábamos sentados en minutos, el servicio fue rápido teniendo en cuenta lo ocupado que estaba, nuestra camarera era encantadora y amable, la comida vino a cenar rápido, todo caliente y tenía un sabor increíble 👏 nos despejaron y ofrecieron postres todo excelente ido así de rápido no tuve oportunidad de fotos 😀 servicio del gerente también fabuloso, recomiendo encarecidamente!

Wagamama is my go to chain for food. I love food places where you can see and smell the food being cooked fresh to order and delivered to your table. I especially love how easy Wagamama makes it for Soul Club members to pay by App. I have visited many in cities and towns from London to Dorchester and Bristol to Salisbury. On Monday it was time to revisit Bath Wagamama in one of my favourite cities on a cold grey damp Monday. Always an early bird for lunch, we were soon seated by the window, outer garments hung up conveniently on the hooks provided. I adore the duck donburi - £19:00 and my partner the shirodashi ramen - £16:00. I pigged out opting to try out the new hot honey chicken -teriyaki (corlander) - £9.00. The staff are attentive and super-friendly and soon our drinks arrived swiftly followed by our dishes one-by-one as is the Wagamama USP. Wow, I knew my main would be delicious and we both tucked-in enjoying the warmth of a lovely welcome and seating experience and the heat of our dishes. I checked my Soul Club app and was delighted to find I’d earned a free side which I swear made the hot chicken taste even more delicious! The portion was big so our waitress brought a food to go container and I squirrelled away several pieces to enjoy later. Washed down with drinks it was easy to pay via the app, coats on and it was time to hit the streets and passages of Bath and walk-off our delicious lunch. No surprise as Wagamama Bath is consistently great, but on a cold,damp and grey Monday at noon, it gave us the ultimate Wagamama dining experience and I love it for that.

Standard Costa experience. Nothing special

I was served by a young man today around 4pm, I have a very badly bruised face and black eye because I had an accident. He showed such care and compassion and made sure to let me know it was a safe space and if i needed anything be sure to ask. It really filled my heart with joy for a stranger to show such empathy, if the world had more men like you it'd be such a better place. Thankyou so much it really meant alot. Cafe Nero give this lad a medal or something please 🙏☕🧡

The burger was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the menu and the topped fries but the fries were under cooked to the point that we left half of them. The staff were friendly. Would recommend booking because the bottom floor got filled quickly although I do believe there is a second floor.

Gran lugar para tomar un café y estudiar arriba, el personal muy amable que siempre está encantado de ayudar, especialmente una barista llamada Chloe dejó una gran impresión. Definitivamente volveré pronto : )

Sorry Grace Dent your taste buds must be contaminated with all that Posh food! After seeing your programme about Greggs Sausage rolls we tried our first one today. Horrible……insipid sausage and greasy aftertaste. At £1.20 a rip off. Trouble is people are so used to fast food, they think it’s good! Had to have an apple to cleanse our pallets😩😡

Have enjoyed their coffees and ice creams and had no problems. The staff were helpful. The service was efficient. For a small area on Quiet St, the layout was very good and a lot of work had gone into it.

Servicio muy amable y servicial, gracias, por lo tanto 2 estrellas hasta ahora, pero la comida era decepcionante, no... fue... impactante. Nunca, nunca ordenes su Rarebit galés... nunca. Un poco de pan frío con un luke - untar caliente de queso en la parte superior, apenas asado, ciertamente no ‘cocinado’, sin ensalada lateral, sin nada, solo un poco solitario de pan frío masticable de queso, pobrecita, se veía tan triste. Ok a solo £ 5. 75 que esperaban un almuerzo de 3 estrellas Mich, y sí debería haberme quejado directamente a quien estuviera a cargo, pero en realidad la gente que sirve era encantadora, un crédito para el equipo y no merecía mi decepción. Waitrose, mejor anima a tu Welsh Rarebit o hazte un favor y sácalo del menú.
