the service was good and everybody was nice, which is a shame as its my first time in bath and the food was probably the worst i ever had. The chicken was dry and soggy, the gyozas were chalky and hard and the pork belly ramen tasted horrendous. The chefs were not it that day and the fact i still had to pay £50 for food we had a bite of and didn't finish shows how expensive mid range restaurants still cannot perform. Would've preferred a mcdonalds at that point.

Food was okay, not as good as other wags I’ve been to. Despite it being really quiet in the afternoon, our food took forever to come out. It did seem like perhaps my ramen had been sitting for a while, as my noodles were nearly mushy. Staff were very nice and doing the best they could, but clearly it was disorganized from behind the scenes.

We hadn’t visited Wagamama in a while because they didn’t used to have a gluten free menu. I was very pleased to see that this was now the case and the staff explained the process when we arrived. It was explained that the food might take a little longer as managers would look after the order. Unfortunately after nearly an hour of waiting I still had no food (not even a edamame bean), I asked if it would be much longer as we had tickets for a play. The food arrived and was delicious but sadly I could only eat a little because I had to leave. It is not really acceptable to treat people with allergens as an afterthought…it felt like they had enough ‘normal’ orders and didn’t need to bother with me. The takeout orders seemed to take priority.

Julia thank you very much for putting up with us as we are really fussy eaters as we did order chicken katsu without katsu😂 and ginger chicken noodles without ginger😂 and not spicy your help and attention to details made our meal superb and enjoyable, it’s quite sad we only had one night stop over at bath but we will never forget you and in future if we visit bath we will definitely ask for you. Thank you for carry on that gorgeous smile on your face entire time and it was busy Tuesday with a lot of customers inn you kept checking on us and every other customers and also smiling at every one who was around there you made the environment feel so friendly. We are normally regular to wagamama but First time using bath as on holiday. Portion sizes felt smaller for the ramen and not as flavourful as had in other restaurants. Wait times was horrendous. Around 15-20 minutes just for drinks. Several other customers around us asking after food from long waits. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Shockingly poor service. Visited Saturday lunchtime. Food came out 30 minutes apart. Waitress lied about food being almost ready just 10 minutes more when they'd clearly forgotten the order. Mains had elements kissing too. Had to request 2-3 times for waitress to check on order progress when clear two of the three party's mains hadn't arrived. Shame, used to be so much better. Expect better for a £100 meal!

The food itself was lovely & our server was friendly. But, time gap between different main dishes is really excessive and kind of taints the experience. First persons dish arrived *20 minutes* before the next which meant one of us had completely finished before the others ate. They do warn you they come out whenever ready but they really need to work on their timings and have a more reasonable gap. Think they need more staff as service become slow the busier it got.

We went to order and collect some takeaway today and were sever by Poppy. She was just amazing, a lovely cheerful lady who has most wonderful manner and was so great with us. I’ve never written a review for takeaway but she required one! If you’re served by poppy you’re in for a treat! Thank you! The food and the power juice was amazing!

Vanavond 16 september heerlijk gegeten bij Wagamama. Uitstekend bediend door Maddy die ons de gang van zaken in het restaurant goed en geduldig uitlegde en heel vriendelijk was. De atmosfeer in het restaurant was uitstekend en het eten was geweldig. Een ervaring die ik iedereen kan aanraden. Maddy sprak zelfs een paar woorden Nederlands omdat haar moeder Zuid-Afrikaans is. Grappig om mee te maken.

i usually really like wagamamas but this was the first time i visited the one in bath and it was a really poor experience. ordered at 8pm and by 8:30, tables who had ordered after us had finished their mains and we were still waiting on our drinks. our mains took over an hour and were cold and crispy by the time they arrived. certain starters never arrived too even after wr asked where they were.

I m back in Wagamama after 1 year. Quick lunch with the family, Wagamama cannot disappoint. Discreet service, few smiles, I have not had the experience I had in the past. The quality of the food has changed, it is no longer as good as before, but I would like to point out that the prices have increased. I'm sorry because I really believed in the quality of Wagamama food.

This is by far the best Wagamama ever, I work in Wagamamas myself but not the bath one so I know what to expect, but my god our sever freya went above and beyond for me and my nan making sure we were happy with our visit, give this girl a raise!!! Growing up in Japan and had many ramens in the different countries, this is by far one of the worst Ramen I ever had. Besides strangely starchy noodle and tasteless broth, braised beef was the only consolation. A few bites were more than I could bear. I wasn’t expecting British Bath to replicate authentic taste of a ramen, but this is really really an unfortunate misrepresentation! Wait staff was friendly enough but did not seem to know the menu sufficiently.

Every time I have gone to the Wagamama Bath branch (which is a fair few) I have been so pleasantly surprised by the incredible service. Iuliia is always incredible, and Effie and Navjot are always so welcoming and helpful with anything that comes up. The times I have been served by any of these three in the last few times has always stuck in my mind by how relaxing the experience is. They are truly wonderful additions to the Wagamama team, and I can spot their absence at other branches.

I dont make a habit of posting negative reviews. I'm used to entering your restaurants being greeted, handed a menu and asked to wait for a table. Tonight I entered, and just waited, several servers past me, said nothing when I entered the restaurant to see what was happening I was asked what I was looking for and told to wait infoyer ...no greeting no apology for wait. I've always been a huge fan of your restaurants for decades, and even queued to have a table at your Bloomsbury restaurant when i first moved to London This is the first time I've encountered such a negative, please don't bother me attitude. I’ll start with saying We Love Wagamamas , but our experience of the Bath restaurant was not up to the standards we find universally when visiting what is one our favourite chains . The service was very poor , we waited 20 mins to be seated which is fine when the site is busy but when we got into the eating area it was only half full . After being seated our order was taken in a reasonable time frame but we then waited for 15 mins for our drinks , when my glass arrived it hadn’t been cleaned properly , I was then brought a boiling hot glass for my cold beer , which I took back myself and eventually got a cool one that was clean ! My main dish arrived some 5mins later with one of the sides but , nothing arrived for my wife for another 20mins , I’d finished all my food and although I expect the food to come out randomly we dont expect our mains to arrive 20mins part , especially as my wife’s was salad with salmon which doesn’t require much cooking ! It was obvious that the staff were not trained to the normal standard and that take aways seemed to take priority over the customers in the restaurant. We remain Wagamama fans but please sort this restaurant out .

Regrettable waste of £50. Nice waiting staff but in a quiet dining room on a Monday evening at night we got two noisy women put next to us as a couple. Why?? . Food took forever to arrive; fruit drinks sat oxidizing/ visibly turning colour on the counter for 10 minutes before I reminded the waitress. Husbands food didn’t arrive until I had finished mine and was clearly reheated to mush. Tofu and avocado didn’t have avocado. We won’t be back. Too much competition in Bath.

Dine in experience: Delicious rice bowl but the staff was a little grumpy as he wanted us all to order at the same time even though my friend asked if she could spend more time exploring the menu. He also got me the wrong menu and told me that it was the one I ordered. Ended up it was his fault as he mistakenly switched my order with another table. Take away experience: Ordered a chicken rice bowl a couple of time as it was delicious but the last time I ordered the rice was uncooked and the amount of chicken was so little compared to the first two time I ordered.

Visited the restaurant on Saturday for a table for 10 at around 9.20 and was asked to wait for 10 mins , after some time we were told it will be another 10 mins and we were ok with that as all the kids were really excited for the food and did not mind wating. At around 9.50 we were told they will not give us a table as the group is big and they cannot accommodate us so we decided to split and get 2 table but still were denied. This person called herself the manger even without us asking her position but acted like a completely unbothered, uncaring person. You can’t just take any person and label them “manager” they must be competent. 3 people from our group are from restaurant background so it's not like we don't know how things work. Really felt bad for our kids who were looking forward for the meal.

We are big fans of Wagamama and we were stopping in Bath for some lunch. We were greeted warmly and sat down quickly. Our server was lovely, very friendly and informative. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains, of course we know they can come out at different times which was fine. However, I ended up waiting almost 30mins for either of my dishes to turn up. My partner was finished by the time my ramen arrived. Another 20mins pass and there was still no sign of my starter. I understand they were busy, however we have never waited so long on food. The food was great when it did arrive. The one thing that really put me off was the state of the women's toilets. Absolutely disgusting and the floor was completely soaked. One young girl slipped and fell on the floor when I was washing my hands, I made the girl aware at the front desk who mentioned she would look into it.

We had dinner here tonight. Been to quite a few Wagamama but today is the first time I wanted to leave a review. The service from start to finish was super!! My daughter got nut allergies. And they were very careful about it and asked a few questions and made the dish separately. Kathy was brilliant and Tom was lovely too. And the food was delicious. I had the same chicken/prawn dish but somehow it tasted better here than other wagamama branches. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Bath✨

Really great fresh hot food, highly recommend the new beef hotpot, it packs a punch but it’s delicious. beyond that want to say how brilliant Erin is. I understand she’s a manager & during a previous visit we had a slight issue which she resolved instantly without hesitation and with the utmost sincerity. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. We went back this evening & was so lovely she remembered us from our previous visit. A bright star for the the future. A big fan of Wagamama but NOT ANYMORE until we visited this branch. We were ignored for long in the entrance while some of the staff were busy chatting and there was lots of empty spaces. I approached one of the staff to ask if we can just sit on any empty tables as we've been waiting for ages, but only told to wait and took ages to wait again. Very good location and atmosphere but the food service is very slow and poor. We waited long for our orders, took very long to arrive the chicken katsu for my parents but took another 22mins to wait for the ramen. Moreover, everyone was almost finished eating but my partner's noodles still did not arrived for that long period of wait. It was a very bad experienced for a well-known restaurant. My partner decided to cancel his noodles as everyone was finished and waiting for his. I thought we are the only costumers who experienced this but reading the reviews of others seems like there's a problem with their branch management. Everyone has to wait for their food, which means you can't enjoy your food together.We highlighted our concerns to one of the managers (she claimed but no name badge). She was very kind and apologetic. The noodles came out the kitchen as we decided to leave, and they offered us to take the noodles with us for free but we REFUSED. At the end, the manager offered discount and gift voucher for apologies. That was kind of her however, we wont be able to use the voucher as it can only be use in wagamama Bath, we don't live in Bath. Anyways, I just hope that the management will look into the reviews of their costumers and do something about it.

I always hate being ignored at the entrance whilst waiting to be seated, but staff were helpful in finding us a table with benches against the wall to lean on (not a fan of seats with no backrests, and service is too slow to justify as fast food). Staff were slow to take our order. We were informed that at Wagamama, food 'comes when it's ready', which might be acceptable if they were mainly serving sharing plates, but they are not. This lazy kitchen management meant that I had completely finished my meal, and there was a further 5 minute wait before my husband's meal arrived. My pad Thai was OK, My husband's firecracker chicken curry was better. To be fair, we were offered free dessert as an apology for the delays, but we decided not to. Overall, disappointing.

As long time fans of Wagas and visitors to Bath I was excited to eat in such a lovely looking branch but that’s where it stopped. The service was abysmal. Kept waiting a full ten minutes just to be acknowledged then a further 5 to be seated. The maitre ‘d was more focused on catching up with visiting friends ( we were the only ones waiting & plenty of free tables. Took 15 minutes to meet our server, another 15 to have our order taken. Then a drip drip service with drinks coming 15 mins after followed by 20 minutes wait EACH for our party of 3’s meals. Cold food. Very politely mentioned the poor service yet didn’t receive an adequate explanation or a discount on the bill. Even the bill took forever to pay as the QR code to pay online didn’t work, they didn’t know our table number, then couldn’t find the card machine.. it was a farce. I was very disappointed and only paid because I didn’t want to further ruin a family meal with my son who I was visiting. What happened to the lightning fast supper efficient Waga’s I know? 🥺 Not returning to this branch again.

First of all, my husband and I love Wagamama. The food is good and people are generally nice. The only complaint we have is often our orders don't come out of the kitchen together. Just be aware your food may come from different kitchens and may arrive 20 minutes apart! This, apparently, is normal according to the manager we spoke to. One of you may be eating alone.

Almost an hour later and we were still waiting for our food. Our server came over and was also surprised we had no food. When it did arrive no apology and I felt it had been put together quickly. It's a shame. Especially as it cost us £41 for two bowls of food and two peach teas.

Food was lovely, slightly disappointed that my partners starter arrived 15 mins later mine was still nowhere to be seen. After a long wait my starter and main arrived at the same time. I also ordered a side sauce with my main but had to wait so I asked as I wanted the sauce out with my main meal. My partners main arrived shortly after, toiletes were some of the most disgusting toilets I've seen at a restaurant. No loo roll and sanitary bins over flowing brilliant food but service and toilets weren't good.

Went solo after a long day at work and my server lily was amazing, she was so friendly even though it was really busy her service (and eyeliner) was flawless. Ill deffo be returning as the mushroom bao buns are unreal

Had a work social at wagamamas tonight. Our server Charlotte was so helpful and friendly, she made the whole experience run very smoothly and we all enjoyed ourselves so much. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere cosy and vibrant. One of my favourite places :)

Walked in with my partner and our support dog, who was in a carrier bag for a meal. We were asked by a staff member to show what’s in the bag (rude) than she told us to not eat there as it’s a NO DOG restaurant. Then the manager came along and she told us to leave as we had our support dog in a bag. Bear in mind the dog is a mini dachshund and as I mentioned it’s a support dog. It’s a shame that nowadays restaurants like yours do things like this. Never going back and definitely gonna post about this. By the was there are no sign or anything in display that is saying you can’t bring in support dogs! Shame on you.

Not much to this location, only place I found that had hot pot in Bath and it wasnt hot pot to me. Was a bowl with broth with a very light flavor. Staff was pleasant and courteous. Props to them, they work hard to have good turn overs! I would ask others to go for other food items that looked really good but I was craving hot pot and it's experience and here fell short. If you are like me go for other options instead. I enjoyed my Bao and the desserts tho were awesome!!!!!

Wagamama food is always exceptional, and our experience in the Bath restaurant was even more so! The staff were ALL so friendly and welcoming, especially Poppy who mainly looked after us. SUCH a sweetheart! She went above and beyond to welcome us and was incredibly attentive and offered recommendations. And when she found out it was my Mum’s birthday she gave us a little surprise! An absolutely beautiful person and a credit to the amazing Wagamama Bath team :)

some while back food was ordered via deliveroo it took 2 and 1/2 hours to arrive! the delay was due to the item being cooked ( under staffing!) not deiveroo transport. i was told i would be compensated for the cost of the late ordered items - but was never reimbursed. despite confirming phone calls. food of course is always good. But dont use them if your hungry and not prepared to wait most of the afternoon.

Awful felt so discriminated against for having an allergy the waitress seem to take great delight in broadcasting to the restaurant about my allergy. Then we had a very condescending Manager called Steph, come over, trying to justify the situation, the whole time the food that eventually arrived, sat in front of us, going cold once she left us to eat our food we took 10 minutes and left will never return most horrific dining experience ever. Food was good. Service was better. Had a large party - 18 - so obviously difficult to gauge quality of food with so many dishes served but plenty of manpower available and the service really was impeccable. There was a lack of vegan starter dishes but otherwise the menu was comprehensive and had all the usual Thai staples.

This restaurant in Bath is very authentic with the whole place decked out in Thai bits and bobs on the walls ceiling & everywhere you look! An open kitchen produces wonderful tasty food from the greater Thai region. Service was prompt & the menu simple to navigate. We had the full sharer for three. The dishes were delicious & plentiful & what we didn’t eat my daughter had it put up 4a takeaway. A great place to eat in my opinion

The food is really incredible here, and very unique. I’m pretty sure anything on the menu will be great, and all dishes are full of flavor and spice. They place was pretty empty on a Monday night although they kept telling people they were holding tables for their reservations. The Black Pork dish was one of the best South Asian dishes I’ve ever had and very unique to experience pork with this flavor profile as it’s not very common on Southern Asian menus. Goat and potatoes, Dahl, fried paneer cheese in sauce, and the thing with meat and shredded roti were all hits. Interestingly the hoppers that they really hype up were the only things I personally wouldn’t get again, but it’s worth a try if you’ve never had it. The food is served as a small plate sharing menu. They say that 3-4 is the suggested amounts of plates per person although I think 3 is more than enough per person IMO. We didn’t get to try the drinks menu but they have some great deals if you buy two drinks of the same category.
