I recently had a disappointing experience here. After a long wait, some of my food arrived cold, so I sent it back. Unfortunately, it took an even longer time to receive my replacement order (received after the rest of the meal was finished). When the food finally came, the rest of the dishes were just average in quality. Additionally, the service was slow throughout the meal. Drinks took a long time to arrive, and there was a noticeable delay between when one person received their food and the other got theirs, with one person receiving small plates and main approximately 15 minutes before the other got anything at all or the drinks for the table arrived. Overall, the experience was frustrating, with slow service and underwhelming food. Used to be a staple when we visited Bath but wouldn’t return on future visits.

Shocking. Served a warm beer and when I asked for a cold one the manager came over literally rolling her eyes telling me it was cold enough (my friends was perfectly cold, mine wasn’t). “They are all 3 degrees and they’ve been in the fridge all day”. So wasn’t getting another one no matter how much I explained it wasn’t cold enough. She literally came over to pick a fight. When we asked her colleague for her name so I could mention it in the review we were told that they can’t give names out. It was 8pm on Saturday 8th March 2025. And as I write this having arrived here at 7pm one of our party still hasn’t received her main course. It’s now 8.40pm. One hour 15 mins after we ordered it. Worst service I’ve ever had in Bath. And when you raise an issue - it is your fault - not theirs.

Vomitted the next day after eating here. Called them to tell them next day. Took my details and they said they would come back to me and I've never heard back. Trowbridge location is great in comparison. It was my favourite restaurant, been many times. I would not recommend this restaurant. If they make people ill, they don't care.

We went here the day after we went to Hall and Woodhouse and this was miles better. Miles! We love Wagas and when we can we always will! We booked late because it was the only available time and although they were closing down, the service and food was impeccable. Kept checking up on us and made sure we had what we ordered as we ordered quite a bit as you do when you come here! Definitely would always recommend here. Top notch! The new sticky chicken dish is to die for and made us want more of it!

Food is incredibly good. Fair prices for exquisite quality. Very friendly staff that kindly looks after you. Easy pay, quick service. Just note that reservations aren’t possible and you might have to wait for a longer time on a busy day and time. But there’s plenty room to wait inside. Can recommend grilled chicken ramen, any gyoza and cherry blossom lemonade.

One of the worst experiences ever. Me and my wife Went to have a lunch at this restaurant. We’ve order our food .my food came first after waiting 15mins and we waited 20mins on top for my wife food but still they haven’t brought her food. At last we have to cancel the food .service is terrible really disappointed. I mean if your going to a restaurant with someone who like to eat a food alone and the other person has to watch you eating your food. We won’t go back in this restaurant again we should’ve go to itsu which is just 3 mins walk from there.

Failed to acknowledge dietary requirements and allergies which became embarrassing. We visited this restaurant with our family, expecting a pleasant meal, but were met with disappointment. Despite numerous empty tables, we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Once we ordered, the waitress returned after 15 minutes to inform us that the chef refused to modify a dish by simply leaving out the rice due to a member of our party having a rice intolerance. We explained we didn't need a replacement for the rice, just its exclusion, but the chef still refused. This disregard for food intolerances is alarming. When the food finally arrived, the starters were cold, and the main courses lukewarm. No staff checked if our meals were satisfactory. The manager was abrupt when we inquired about a missing dish. After waiting half an hour, the dish arrived, burnt and inedible. The manager was reluctant to take it back and argued with us before begrudgingly removing it, causing us further embarrassment. Given the poor service, indifference and embarrassing us about dietary needs, and subpar food quality, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are numerous other places offering authentic Thai or Indian food that are far superior. ---

Five of my family members went to this restaurant on sat 19th at lunch time, what a BAD and disappointing experience. Service was extremely bad!! I eat at this chain all the time and love it however this restaurant in Bath is so bad I ask a simple thing for for the rice to be removed off my plate and more lettuce added because I have a reaction to starch in my food the waitress said she will ask the chef so she came back after 5 /10 min and said the chef would not do this for me, I couldn’t understand as I have this at all the other Wagamama I go to. My food arrived 20 min after everyone else as I think they forgot to put it though. I ask four members of staff including the manager were my food was, I was told its being cooked 🤨 it arrived burnt. spoke to the manager again and he said he was sorry and would replace it but I would have wait for another 10 minutes, by this time all my family had finished their food

The food quality of this place has gone downhill over the last few years. I've been nothing but disappointed by any portion I've ordered, especially the ramen - the broth is a complete disaster and ruins the whole meal. Honestly, best get yourself an instant pack of noodles and make one at home - it'd be better.

I live in Bath and used to go regularly, service was great and food very reliable. I went for a quick lunch yesterday and ordered my usual dishes. The service was bad and the food was terrible. Cold, gloopy gyoza, an unrecognisable Yaki Soba, also lukewarm. The only good bit was the beer which came at first with a glass full of ice for some reason. The prawns were at least hot and as I remembered them from previous visits. Won't be going back again and when I tried to give feedback on the Wagamama website it didn't accept it, error message.

Wagamama is my go to chain for food. I love food places where you can see and smell the food being cooked fresh to order and delivered to your table. I especially love how easy Wagamama makes it for Soul Club members to pay by App. I have visited many in cities and towns from London to Dorchester and Bristol to Salisbury. On Monday it was time to revisit Bath Wagamama in one of my favourite cities on a cold grey damp Monday. Always an early bird for lunch, we were soon seated by the window, outer garments hung up conveniently on the hooks provided. I adore the duck donburi - £19:00 and my partner the shirodashi ramen - £16:00. I pigged out opting to try out the new hot honey chicken -teriyaki (corlander) - £9.00. The staff are attentive and super-friendly and soon our drinks arrived swiftly followed by our dishes one-by-one as is the Wagamama USP. Wow, I knew my main would be delicious and we both tucked-in enjoying the warmth of a lovely welcome and seating experience and the heat of our dishes. I checked my Soul Club app and was delighted to find I’d earned a free side which I swear made the hot chicken taste even more delicious! The portion was big so our waitress brought a food to go container and I squirrelled away several pieces to enjoy later. Washed down with drinks it was easy to pay via the app, coats on and it was time to hit the streets and passages of Bath and walk-off our delicious lunch. No surprise as Wagamama Bath is consistently great, but on a cold,damp and grey Monday at noon, it gave us the ultimate Wagamama dining experience and I love it for that. Adrian Munday

If you want lukewarm food and to be dealt with by a dismissive manager when you complain then this is the place for you. I had never been before so I was unaware that food could be served at different times which had I had known I wouldn’t have gone here and I won’t be going again. The only plus was the waitress who served us she would make a better manager than the current one.

Esperé 10 minutos para una mesa a pesar de que había espacio. El gerente tardó años en venir y tomar nuestro pedido. Olvidaron mis Bao Buns hasta que los pedí de nuevo. No hay culto en la mesa aparte de palillos. La comida salió al azar. A mis amigos se les dio comida a una mesa diferente por accidente y luego después de 10 minutos de espera el gerente simplemente tomó los platos de la otra mesa y se los dio a mi amigo (la comida estaba tibia en ese momento) en lugar de cocinar una comida fresca. Nuestra mesa también recibió un entrante que no pedimos. Terrible experiencia. Nos atendió el gerente debido a una alergia a los frutos secos. No puedo imaginar cómo es el personal del outlet.

Pedido una comida para llevar £ 70 por valor llegó 2 horas después, con 2 platos son los equivocados. Llamó y habló con el gerente de OSCAR, dijo que lamentaba no tener conductores que le trajeran el pedido correcto, ¡y no daría un reembolso! Totalmente espantoso, OSCAR no tenía empatía alguna, y claramente no tiene habilidades de servicio al cliente. La comida era fría y de mal gusto, nunca más Wagamamas simplemente no se puede tratar a los clientes así, vergüenza en usted.

Ordered a takeaway £70 worth arrived 2hours later, with 2 dishes being the wrong ones. Called and spoke to OSCAR the manager, he said sorry dont have any drivers to bring you the correct order, and would not give a refund! Utterly appalling, OSCAR had no empathy what so ever, and clearly has no customer service skills. Food was cold and tasteless, never again Wagamamas you just can not treat customers like this, shame on you.

the service was good and everybody was nice, which is a shame as its my first time in bath and the food was probably the worst i ever had. The chicken was dry and soggy, the gyozas were chalky and hard and the pork belly ramen tasted horrendous. The chefs were not it that day and the fact i still had to pay £50 for food we had a bite of and didn't finish shows how expensive mid range restaurants still cannot perform. Would've preferred a mcdonalds at that point.

Food was okay, not as good as other wags I’ve been to. Despite it being really quiet in the afternoon, our food took forever to come out. It did seem like perhaps my ramen had been sitting for a while, as my noodles were nearly mushy. Staff were very nice and doing the best they could, but clearly it was disorganized from behind the scenes.

Se explicó que la comida podría tardar un poco más, ya que los gerentes se ocuparían del pedido. Lamentablemente después de casi una hora de espera todavía no tenía comida (ni siquiera un frijol edamame) , pregunté si sería mucho más largo ya que teníamos entradas para una obra de teatro. La comida llegó y estaba deliciosa, pero tristemente solo pude comer un poco porque tuve que irme. No es realmente aceptable tratar a las personas con alérgenos como un pensamiento posterior... sentía que tenían suficientes órdenes ‘normales’ y no necesitaban molestarse conmigo. Las órdenes de llevar parecían tener prioridad.

Julia thank you very much for putting up with us as we are really fussy eaters as we did order chicken katsu without katsu😂 and ginger chicken noodles without ginger😂 and not spicy your help and attention to details made our meal superb and enjoyable, it’s quite sad we only had one night stop over at bath but we will never forget you and in future if we visit bath we will definitely ask for you. We are normally regular to wagamama but First time using bath as on holiday. Portion sizes felt smaller for the ramen and not as flavourful as had in other restaurants. Wait times was horrendous. Around 15-20 minutes just for drinks. Several other customers around us asking after food from long waits. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

The food itself was lovely & our server was friendly. But, time gap between different main dishes is really excessive and kind of taints the experience. First persons dish arrived *20 minutes* before the next which meant one of us had completely finished before the others ate. They do warn you they come out whenever ready but they really need to work on their timings and have a more reasonable gap. Think they need more staff as service become slow the busier it got.

Shockingly poor service. Visited Saturday lunchtime. Food came out 30 minutes apart. Waitress lied about food being almost ready just 10 minutes more when they'd clearly forgotten the order. Mains had elements kissing too. Had to request 2-3 times for waitress to check on order progress when clear two of the three party's mains hadn't arrived. Shame, used to be so much better. Expect better for a £100 meal!

We went to order and collect some takeaway today and were sever by Poppy. She was just amazing, a lovely cheerful lady who has most wonderful manner and was so great with us. I’ve never written a review for takeaway but she required one! If you’re served by poppy you’re in for a treat! Thank you! The food and the power juice was amazing!

Vanavond 16 september heerlijk gegeten bij Wagamama. Uitstekend bediend door Maddy die ons de gang van zaken in het restaurant goed en geduldig uitlegde en heel vriendelijk was. De atmosfeer in het restaurant was uitstekend en het eten was geweldig. Een ervaring die ik iedereen kan aanraden. Maddy sprak zelfs een paar woorden Nederlands omdat haar moeder Zuid-Afrikaans is. Grappig om mee te maken.

i usually really like wagamamas but this was the first time i visited the one in bath and it was a really poor experience. ordered at 8pm and by 8:30, tables who had ordered after us had finished their mains and we were still waiting on our drinks. our mains took over an hour and were cold and crispy by the time they arrived. certain starters never arrived too even after wr asked where they were.

I m back in Wagamama after 1 year. Quick lunch with the family, Wagamama cannot disappoint. Discreet service, few smiles, I have not had the experience I had in the past. The quality of the food has changed, it is no longer as good as before, but I would like to point out that the prices have increased. I'm sorry because I really believed in the quality of Wagamama food.

This is by far the best Wagamama ever, I work in Wagamamas myself but not the bath one so I know what to expect, but my god our sever freya went above and beyond for me and my nan making sure we were happy with our visit, give this girl a raise!!! Growing up in Japan and had many ramens in the different countries, this is by far one of the worst Ramen I ever had. Besides strangely starchy noodle and tasteless broth, braised beef was the only consolation. A few bites were more than I could bear. I wasn’t expecting British Bath to replicate authentic taste of a ramen, but this is really really an unfortunate misrepresentation! Wait staff was friendly enough but did not seem to know the menu sufficiently.

Every time I have gone to the Wagamama Bath branch (which is a fair few) I have been so pleasantly surprised by the incredible service. Iuliia is always incredible, and Effie and Navjot are always so welcoming and helpful with anything that comes up. The times I have been served by any of these three in the last few times has always stuck in my mind by how relaxing the experience is. They are truly wonderful additions to the Wagamama team, and I can spot their absence at other branches.

I dont make a habit of posting negative reviews. I'm used to entering your restaurants being greeted, handed a menu and asked to wait for a table. Tonight I entered, and just waited, several servers past me, said nothing when I entered the restaurant to see what was happening I was asked what I was looking for and told to wait infoyer ...no greeting no apology for wait. I've always been a huge fan of your restaurants for decades, and even queued to have a table at your Bloomsbury restaurant when i first moved to London This is the first time I've encountered such a negative, please don't bother me attitude. I’ll start with saying We Love Wagamamas , but our experience of the Bath restaurant was not up to the standards we find universally when visiting what is one our favourite chains . The service was very poor , we waited 20 mins to be seated which is fine when the site is busy but when we got into the eating area it was only half full . After being seated our order was taken in a reasonable time frame but we then waited for 15 mins for our drinks , when my glass arrived it hadn’t been cleaned properly , I was then brought a boiling hot glass for my cold beer , which I took back myself and eventually got a cool one that was clean ! My main dish arrived some 5mins later with one of the sides but , nothing arrived for my wife for another 20mins , I’d finished all my food and although I expect the food to come out randomly we dont expect our mains to arrive 20mins part , especially as my wife’s was salad with salmon which doesn’t require much cooking ! It was obvious that the staff were not trained to the normal standard and that take aways seemed to take priority over the customers in the restaurant. We remain Wagamama fans but please sort this restaurant out .

I stayed at the travel lodge next door, after driving 6hrs, for convenience i chose to dine at Wagamama. Food is as expected given it's a big chain. Server was cute, gets an extra star more than it deserves.

Regrettable waste of £50. Nice waiting staff but in a quiet dining room on a Monday evening at night we got two noisy women put next to us as a couple. Why?? . Food took forever to arrive; fruit drinks sat oxidizing/ visibly turning colour on the counter for 10 minutes before I reminded the waitress. Husbands food didn’t arrive until I had finished mine and was clearly reheated to mush. Tofu and avocado didn’t have avocado. We won’t be back. Too much competition in Bath.

Dine in experience: Delicious rice bowl but the staff was a little grumpy as he wanted us all to order at the same time even though my friend asked if she could spend more time exploring the menu. He also got me the wrong menu and told me that it was the one I ordered. Ended up it was his fault as he mistakenly switched my order with another table. Take away experience: Ordered a chicken rice bowl a couple of time as it was delicious but the last time I ordered the rice was uncooked and the amount of chicken was so little compared to the first two time I ordered.

Visited the restaurant on Saturday for a table for 10 at around 9.20 and was asked to wait for 10 mins , after some time we were told it will be another 10 mins and we were ok with that as all the kids were really excited for the food and did not mind wating. At around 9.50 we were told they will not give us a table as the group is big and they cannot accommodate us so we decided to split and get 2 table but still were denied. This person called herself the manger even without us asking her position but acted like a completely unbothered, uncaring person. You can’t just take any person and label them “manager” they must be competent. 3 people from our group are from restaurant background so it's not like we don't know how things work. Really felt bad for our kids who were looking forward for the meal.

We are big fans of Wagamama and we were stopping in Bath for some lunch. We were greeted warmly and sat down quickly. Our server was lovely, very friendly and informative. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains, of course we know they can come out at different times which was fine. However, I ended up waiting almost 30mins for either of my dishes to turn up. My partner was finished by the time my ramen arrived. Another 20mins pass and there was still no sign of my starter. I understand they were busy, however we have never waited so long on food. The food was great when it did arrive. The one thing that really put me off was the state of the women's toilets. Absolutely disgusting and the floor was completely soaked. One young girl slipped and fell on the floor when I was washing my hands, I made the girl aware at the front desk who mentioned she would look into it.

My partner and I visited the Bath Wagamama this evening and were so impressed by Poppy’s service. The restaurant was incredibly busy and I’m sure all the staff were tired after the bank holiday weekend but despite this Poppy made sure we had a lovely visit giving us good recommendations and attentive service! Thank you so much, we will be back soon!

We had dinner here tonight. Been to quite a few Wagamama but today is the first time I wanted to leave a review. The service from start to finish was super!! My daughter got nut allergies. And they were very careful about it and asked a few questions and made the dish separately. Kathy was brilliant and Tom was lovely too. And the food was delicious. I had the same chicken/prawn dish but somehow it tasted better here than other wagamama branches. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Bath✨

Dan gave me the most Amazing meal I have had in a long time! Such a nice guy just wanting to be kind and helpful. The other staff reccomended me a vegan meal, that was absolutely exquisite, Especially to be a chain resturant. Super Nice asian! Spicy, but not too spicy, Lite & Healthy, yet also filling. It started well, with a warm welcome and friendly service, and the food was really good. It was a shame that on a Friday evening we were made to feel like we needed to leave by about 9.45 pm, and felt like we needed to rush the wine we hadn’t finished. The bill was put on our table and deliveries were being wheeled by our table. We hadn’t had a starter or dessert so it wasn’t like we’d been sitting there for ages.

Probably one of the best meals out we've ever had. The food was delicious and we really appreciated how many vegan options there were. For the quality, great value for money too. Shout out to our server Josh who was so hospitable. The next time we're in Bath, we'll definitely be back - with more people too!

"I was excited to try their lamb haleem, but unfortunately, it was nothing like the authentic dish I was expecting. Haleem is a slow-cooked stew made with a combination of wheat, lentils, and meat (usually lamb or chicken), cooked to a creamy, rich consistency. It's known for its spices and depth of flavour. However, what I received was more like a dish with dal and meat pieces rather than the smooth, well-blended texture of traditional haleem. It didn’t have the signature creamy consistency or the complex spice profile that you would typically find in a true haleem. It was a let-down as I had specifically come for that dish. I was hoping for a much more authentic and flavourful experience."
