Rosa's Thai Bath in Bath and North East Somerset

Came here for lunch as a group of two and had a great experience. Despite it being a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend, we were seated straight away with no wait. The place had just the right level of buzz—busy, but not overwhelming. All the staff were polite, friendly, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely lovely—flavourful, well-prepared, and genuinely felt authentic. It didn’t taste like a franchise trying to imitate traditional dishes. The portions were just right—not too heavy, but still satisfying. One detail I really appreciated was the open kitchen. It’s small and intimate, but it gives you a sense of trust—like your meal is being cooked with care by real hands. The cosy décor and ceiling fans added to the charm, giving the place a warm, tropical vibe. Would definitely recommend!

We visited the restaurant early Saturday evening without a prior reservation. The food was good, although the drunken noodle was a tad spicy and the lemongrass pandan iced tea lacked flavour. Despite this, we had an enjoyable meal.

Had lunch at restaurant Rosa'sThai Bath. My rating is based on price quality. The meals are tasty, fresh and authentic. I can recommend to anyone who likes Asian food.

Great place for Asian food, Friendly staff, delicious Thai milk tea, pork ribs and rice noodles. But for me who comes from Taiwan, the taste is a bit salty.

I had a wonderful meal a few nights ago. The best Thai food I have had since visiting Thailand. All the staff were wonderful but Amy in particular went above and beyond that evening!

Ordered the Thai Green curry for Lunch . Curry was totally dreadful burnt all through brought this up to the waitress and told her to check it . Bad response and disgusting curry . Will not return too many good Thai restaurants in Bath .

Really enjoyed our meal here and we haven't had as good a Pad Thai since we were in Thailand. The only reason I've not commented on the atmosphere is because we were outside so I didn't really get a vibe of what it was like inside. Would highly recommend though!

Very fast and friendly service, food was fast and piping hot, tasted fresh and made to order, portions were huge!! would highly recommend!

The staff were nice and responsive. However the food was terrible. We ordered 2 Khao Pad and they turned out disappointed. The rice tasted like it was just put into boiling water and taken out immediately, hard that made me choke. The chef added some kind of sauce that made the dish tasted like burned food. So in the end, I had a fried rice that wasn’t cooked but tastes smoky. This restaurant is in my blacklist now.

The food is amazing and especially papaya salad and crispy pork belly are so mouth-watering dishes we have ever tried. It even reminisced to our Asian countries. The service is high-level standard as well. Highly recommended.

Wonderful food, staff and vibe. One of my favourite Thai restaurants.

Got the Pad thai which was very overly sweet, flavourless and inauthentic. I had to wait at the door for 5 minutes as there is 1 waiter and 1 bar staff between all the tables. Lemongrass pandan iced tea was basically lemonade. I would not recommend at all considering there are much better options: Thaikhun, Charm Thai, Thai Balcony for example.

Good food and value: a main, side, and rice all for £19.00 service charge included. We ate here around 7.30pm for dinner, we were given the bill without asking so I'm guessing they were closing earlier .nevertheless food was fresh and tasty

I’ve not been this ill from food in a long time. My partner and I both had a takeaway from Uber eats the pad Thai, red curry, egg fried rice and chicken skewers. 48 hours later and we are still both being sick. Not sure what happened but it was awful….

Great atmosphere, and really good service!!!! Had the Tom Ka soup and was so delicious!!! Also had the Thai lemonade and it was such a refreshing drink to accompany dinner!! Portion sizes are very generous!! Highly recommend <3

This was a taste sensation, all the flavours were there in the right combination, it was more something we stumbled upon but so glad we did, with reasonable pricing and more tables downstairs. If you are looking for a good food night out, you would be more than happy to spend it here if Thai food is your thing, it is totally the best Thai I have had in over ten years.

The food was really bad and it took a long time to arrive, almost 50 mins. It wasn't even very busy. The staff were polite but it also took us a long time to get served and we had to get their attention. Also people who had arrived quite a bit after us got their food before us, it seemed like the service/kitchen was uncoordinated. But anyway, the problem was mostly that the food was bad, the noodles were very greasy and the soup we had was very oily, the shredded chicken in the noodles was not good either.

Food made me sick the following day. Also while the staff was nice, they were very slow, came late to take order, also we received tap water twice after asking, had to ask for items twice despite ordering the first time, the appetiser came after the main. Overall, would not go again.

Food was amazing. Staff offered suggestions of rice to complement the curry. Blue light discount available. Service charge applied to the bill without consent but was removed without question when asked. The ginger and mint tea where so fresh totally recommend

We went there for lunch around 12.30, table was full. The waitress asked if we wanted to be on waiting list. We waited until 13.30 no reply. We went back to restaurant and 3 tables were free. If you don’t care about the waiting list why you asked us to do and let us wait for nothing. Your stir fry chilli and basil was awful, very salty and fried egg was full of oil. If they have -5 Stars for this I would love to give it to this restaurant

Very tasty food! I had the pad see eww and it was delicious! I also had one of the beer sides as a starter (it goes very well with a pint) Overall very good all round although make sure to book a table! They also have student discount which is an added bonus

It started well, with a warm welcome and friendly service, and the food was really good. It was a shame that on a Friday evening we were made to feel like we needed to leave by about 9.45 pm, and felt like we needed to rush the wine we hadn’t finished. The bill was put on our table and deliveries were being wheeled by our table. We hadn’t had a starter or dessert so it wasn’t like we’d been sitting there for ages.

The waiter's treatment was very regrettable. An incomprehensible attitude for a person who works facing the public. We just wanted to enjoy a fantastic meal while visiting the beautiful city of Bath. With people like that working there, it is impossible to recommend it.

The Tom Yum Soup was devine and much needed in cold Bath weather today. Lunch menu for £12 only. So a no brainer. The customer service was lovely too. Will definitely be back for more soon.

wonderful! stopped here whilst wandering around Bath as a solo diner, and Dona was lovely. made me feel so comfortable. their thai coffee is gorgeous, as is their red curry! couldn’t recommend more :) okra tempura was the main highlight for me.

We had a fantastic experience with Rosa’s Thai for our post exams celebration. We ordered myriad of dishes, all of which were of excellent quality. The waitresses were extremely accommodating and very attentive, catering for our requests and dietary requirements, giving recommendations where necessary.

The service was unfortunately not very friendly. The food seemed to be hit-or-miss. The Pad See Ewe tasted very strongly of black pepper, but the other items we ordered were very good.

My brother and I visited Rosa Thai a day ago, and we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and great food. Although he's not a fan of Thai cuisine, we had a wonderful time together. The staff, including our host Donna, were friendly and attentive. However, there was one downside: the service charge was added to the bill without our prior consent. I'm happy to pay a service charge voluntarily, especially if the service is excellent. Nevertheless, I dislike being forced to pay it. I didn't notice any mention of the service charge beforehand, and I think it's an unfair policy. What if someone enjoys the food but can't afford the service charge? Should they feel guilty? It should be left to the customer's discretion, and those who are satisfied will pay voluntarily. I think it's a cheap statergy a business has
