Rosa's Thai Bath in Bath and North East Somerset

Really delicious and great atmosphere. Donna was absolutely lovely, made great suggestions about the menu and ended up customising a dish to my taste which I loved. Also gave us some fresh packaged prawn crackers to bring home with the rest of our take out. Would highly recommend - thanks to all at Rosa’s Thai in Bath!

Super lovely experience tonight at Rosa’s, served by amazing Donna!!! She was so attentive and sweet, made she we had everything we needed, even chucked in a few freebies for us to try which was SO kind and really made our evening feel extra special. If was so clear how hard she was working to make sure everyone in the restaurant was having a good time, and she was pretty much doing this on her own bless her!!! As always the food at Rosa’s was very yummy, really good portions and price. We will be back to Rosa’s very soon for the food, but more importantly we’d go back for Donna! Thanks for a fab night.

Went here with a few friends on a Wednesday evening and throughly enjoyed it! The food was 10/10. I got the chicken satay and chicken noodle with broth. The flavours were lovely, portion sizes were great and Donna was a lovely, friendly & attentive server.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere. I got the pad see ew, Thai iced tea, and mango sticky rice!! It was so delicious and the service was amazing! Shout out to our amazing host Dona, SHES SO SWEET!!

This is a decent sized restaurant, catering for approximately 35 covers upstairs and another 35 or so downstairs. The staff are very friendly and efficient and there is a good selection of drinks. We had a chicken satay and papaya salad for starters that were well presented and tasty. My papaya salad needed a bit more of a kick to it, and I was able to add a little chilli oil from the various condiments that are provided on the table. For mains, we had the Pad Kra Prow (chilli and basil stir fry) and a red duck and pineapple curry. The duck was nicely cooked and tender, and the red curry sauce was delicious. The stir fry was also very tasty. All in all, this was a nice dining experience. One negative comment I'd have about Rosa's is the subsequent bombardment of emails from the place. In order to reserve a table, you are required to provide your email address, and having done so, you then get several marketing emails from them per day, which becomes both tiresome and unwelcome. After my second attempt of unsubscribing, these emails appear to have stopped.

Amazing food and wine in great location.

Poor service. We waited for more than 30 minutes for our food to arrive just to be told that there was some confusion and the cook is just starting to make our food.

Delicious food, I had a Panang Curry, and very good service. Highly recommend. Found in the heart of historic Bath city centre.

The team from Rosa’s Thai Bath were able to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday night. Our food was stunning, very authentic and staff were extremely accommodating (papaya salad without fish sauce for vegetarians). We had Pad Thai and the Aubergine curry with jasmine rice and papaya salad. Highly recommended for getting your Thai fix - thanks so much

I would not recommend this restaurant. Ordered Thai tea and it wasn't even orange like everywhere else on the face of the earth. Very watery. Ordered pumpkin crackers but was given prawn crackers. Ignored by employees despite walking up to them with clear intent.

Saturday November 30th Walked in at 14:20 and made a reservation for 2. The lady said it would be 30 minutes before one becomes available. She said we would receive a txt message on our phone when it is time for the booking. We got a txt saying the same thing. A second txt message didn't come through. We visited the restaurant and she said that our booking couldn't be fulfilled. We wasted 30 minutes waiting thinking we had a solid booking. This was not the case. This left us again trying to find somewhere to eat. Even later than before and in need of a toilet, due to the public ones being closed. Not good enough. If you don't have a table, within the 30 minutes. That should also be texted to the customer.

Hadn’t tried Rosa’s before but will definitely be going back. Really helpful staff who suggested dishes we wouldn’t have thought of. The food was really delicious.

I love thai food a lot and it’s not easy to find Thai restaurants have a original taste like Thailand but I found that here!! I order Som Tum (papaya salad), Gaeng Massaman Beef Curry, Pad Kra Prow (Pork Belly Stir Fry with Chilli & Basil) that all is really really amazing taste!! Good price and big portion. The restaurant is clean and decorated warmly like being in Thailand. The staff are very helpful, smiling and friendly. On the day I went to the restaurant I was served by staff name Pam and Cat both of them provided excellent service. If you looking for any Thai restaurant have a good taste, good price and good service you should come here! And you will love it.

PLEASE AVOID ROSA’s BATH! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Rosa’s this evening. I accidentally placed an order to Rosa’s Bath online and immediately (whilst the payment was being processed), realised my mistake and instantly called the restaurant to inform them of what had happened. I explained I was 100 miles away and couldn’t pick up the food order. They acknowledged my situation and assured me they wouldn’t start cooking the food and would let the kitchen know and because the order couldn’t be cancelled their end, advised me to contact Uber for a refund which we were already on to. However, when we got through to Uber via Live Chat, they informed me that the restaurant claimed the food had already been prepared, so no refund was possible. Confused, I called the restaurant again. The person who answered (who seemed to be same person I spoke to during my initial call) seemed unsure and didn’t seem to know what to say so to my surprise, passed me on to Chris, I think he said he was the Chef. Chris claimed the restaurant was quiet and the food in our order (4 dishes) had already been cooked by the time I had initially called Rosa’s - this was hard to believe, as I had called immediately after placing the order. He then went on to describe in detail how quickly he makes a Pad Thai being “less than 4 minutes .. placing the noodles in hot water and the rest of the ingredients in the wok” - explaining the process in a way that felt dismissive and more like he was defending the restaurant’s actions rather than addressing my concerns. Left with no resolution, I proceeded to end the call by requesting that, if the food had truly been prepared, they at least donate it to someone homeless to avoid food waste, if possible. The lack of empathy and the terrible handling of this situation from both Rosa’s and Uber has left a sour taste—especially as this happened on my youngest daughter’s birthday, which I mentioned to Chris (but met by silence) - a order which should have otherwise been a special treat which my daughter had requested but was marred by the poor handling of the situation. Mistakes happen, but the lack of clarity, complete lack of customer care, accountability, and understanding is unacceptable. I won’t be visiting or ordering from Rosa’s Bath (next time I am there) or Uber again, will be telling my acquaintances and colleagues in Bath to do the same, and strongly caution others to be wary of their customer service practices. The only shining light in this situation is having online platforms such as Google to be able to share these experiences, giving the consumer a voice in the hope it makes others aware before ordering.

Love this authentic Thai restaurant especially when u are craving for Asian cuisine in Europe. Satisfy our taste buds and I will recommend anyone who love Thai cuisine to give it a try !!

Food was bad! Low quality meat and very small portions…was shocked because we love Rosa’s in Bristol but the Bath location needs to review their kitchen..very little flavor and weird chicken

It was our first time at Rosa's Thai and we are definitely coming back soon. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very chilled, with audible but not loud music. Which is very appreciated. Emmanuel gave great service and was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Lovely place to eat, talk and relax.

We went there for lunch around 12.30, table was full. The waitress asked if we wanted to be on waiting list. We waited until 13.30 no reply. We went back to restaurant and 3 tables were free. If you don’t care about the waiting list why you asked us to do and let us wait for nothing. Your stir fry chilli and basil was awful, very salty and fried egg was full of oil.

Service was excellent and we were checked on without being too fussed over. The food was excellent and speedy even during a busy Saturday lunch time!

It started out fine...our food was ok but after an hour we recieved the bill without asking...did not get asked if we would like to look at the dessert menu or if we wanted another drink instead 5 minutes after getting the unasked for bill we were "told" we needed to vacate the table in 10 minutes. I went downstairs to use the loo before leaving and at least 4 free tables down there...don't understand why we were treated this way....very disappointing experience.

Highly recommend. Delicious food and the lady serving was very nice. Nice big portion of Pad Thai. Place was very clean Personal preference but I prefer not to be served coke in restaurants out of a can. Adding on the optional tip to the final bill is a bit cheeky. Would return.

This restaurant is amazing! Great service and good music The food is spectacular. The Tom Ka noodles is even better than the one I've tasted in Thailand. The red curry tastes really good as well If you like Thai food, you should really give this restaurant a go!

Fantastic Thai restaurant, has a nice and chilled atmosphere. They have really made an effort with the layout and keeping it well maintained and clean. The food itself is really tasty, I had the king prawn pad Thai, very flavoursome, cooked well. The food was quick to come out as well. Prices are decent as well.

Our meals were delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive to our special requests. We had Penang Curry, Chicken Prad King, and Tofu with Vegetables. They have a variety of rice as sides and the jasmine, sticky and fried were all good. The spicy sauce you could add on the table was tasty and not too hot. Singha was cold and tasty. Prices are good. Recommend!

Had the best experience in this restaurant. I've been a fan of Thai food especially Pad Thai Chicken. I absolutely loved it! I've been back here for 3 days in a row during my stay in Bath. On my last day. I've met this lovely Indian lady (she's an employee-didn't had a chance to get her name). She made sure I was taken cared of on my way back to the North UK. She made sure customers will leave Rosa Thai with a smile on their face. Five stars with a standing ovation for her 🩷 (She was working around afternoon on Sept 15)

We had a wonderful meal here recently. My husband has a soy intolerance which triggers allergies. We don’t often roll the dice on Thai foods as there’s a fair bit of soy involved. The staff were so so helpful and friendly and helped us pick dishes he could eat, and they washed the woks before cooking in them. They were so friendly and kind with our little toddler too and her baby portion was massive! Thank you for such a lovely meal 🙏

Lovely surprise in Bath. We wanted something delicious and fast for lunch. Rosa's Thai did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Decorated with care. Very clean. We've had a couple of excellent visit to Rosa's Thai in Bath and can't fault the food or service at the restaurant. We are planning to come back again with our friends and have recommended the restaurant to all our friends in Bristol & Bath. We look forward to our next visit.

The Pad Thai is aromatic and good. Sadly the Thai milk tea did not taste like one. Will have a meal again when it opens in Norwich.

I was in Bath on an organized tour and we opted for this restaurant for lunch. Excellent quality of food, well-kept place and fast and professional service (the very kind EUE served us). The curry with duck breast is perfect but the prawns and noodles are also excellent. Highly recommended and excellent value for money. Compliments!

Had lunch today with my daughter who was visiting for the day and I must say I was rather impressed. Exceptional service from smiling staff and truly great food too, the rice in a pandan leaf was something not seen too often. Bubble tea was also a good choice and again different. My red curry was delicious and my daughters tamarind duck was outstanding. Will certainly be visiting again.

What sets this place apart is how you're treated by the staff the moment you walk in! Today, I was greeted by Donna and she was full of energy. That sets the tone for a perfect experience as that warm welcome is followed by tasty food with massive portion sizes that are worth every penny spent! Easily one of my favourite place.
