Rosa's Thai Bath in Bath and North East Somerset

It started well, with a warm welcome and friendly service, and the food was really good. It was a shame that on a Friday evening we were made to feel like we needed to leave by about 9.45 pm, and felt like we needed to rush the wine we hadn’t finished. The bill was put on our table and deliveries were being wheeled by our table. We hadn’t had a starter or dessert so it wasn’t like we’d been sitting there for ages.

The waiter's treatment was very regrettable. An incomprehensible attitude for a person who works facing the public. We just wanted to enjoy a fantastic meal while visiting the beautiful city of Bath. With people like that working there, it is impossible to recommend it.

The Tom Yum Soup was devine and much needed in cold Bath weather today. Lunch menu for £12 only. So a no brainer. The customer service was lovely too. Will definitely be back for more soon.

wonderful! stopped here whilst wandering around Bath as a solo diner, and Dona was lovely. made me feel so comfortable. their thai coffee is gorgeous, as is their red curry! couldn’t recommend more :) okra tempura was the main highlight for me.

We had a fantastic experience with Rosa’s Thai for our post exams celebration. We ordered myriad of dishes, all of which were of excellent quality. The waitresses were extremely accommodating and very attentive, catering for our requests and dietary requirements, giving recommendations where necessary.

Food was incredible and staff were wonderful and friendly! Shout out to Donna who made me a Thai milk tea to go which is my new favorite drink! Thank you so much

Katt was absolutely fantastic, she was attentive from the minute we walked in and made us feel right at home. The service was unfortunately not very friendly. The food seemed to be hit-or-miss. The Pad See Ewe tasted very strongly of black pepper, but the other items we ordered were very good.

Walk down the road to any other place for authentic non-chain Thai food. Not anyone’s fault, just bland and not worth it when there’s better independent Thai restaurants in Bath.

We had a lovely meal. We would give the food and the service by the lovely Georgia 6 stars if we could! A particular highlight was the prawn doughnut!

My brother and I visited Rosa Thai a day ago, and we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and great food. Although he's not a fan of Thai cuisine, we had a wonderful time together. The staff, including our host Donna, were friendly and attentive. However, there was one downside: the service charge was added to the bill without our prior consent. I'm happy to pay a service charge voluntarily, especially if the service is excellent. Nevertheless, I dislike being forced to pay it. I didn't notice any mention of the service charge beforehand, and I think it's an unfair policy. What if someone enjoys the food but can't afford the service charge? Should they feel guilty? It should be left to the customer's discretion, and those who are satisfied will pay voluntarily. I think it's a cheap statergy a business has

The Pad Thai was one of the best I have ever eaten. It came out steaming hot and absolutely delicious. The prawn donuts were also amazing.

Really delicious and great atmosphere. Donna was absolutely lovely, made great suggestions about the menu and ended up customising a dish to my taste which I loved. Fantastic quality food for vegans. Comida excelente nivel para veganos. Recomendamos noodles soup with tofu and veggies and pad Thai with vegan and veggies. They rock! Plus cozy place and excellent service. Bless them’

Went here with a few friends on a Wednesday evening and throughly enjoyed it! The food was 10/10. I got the chicken satay and chicken noodle with broth. The flavours were lovely, portion sizes were great and Donna was a lovely, friendly & attentive server.

Super lovely experience tonight at Rosa’s, served by amazing Donna!!! She was so attentive and sweet, made she we had everything we needed, even chucked in a few freebies for us to try which was SO kind and really made our evening feel extra special. If was so clear how hard she was working to make sure everyone in the restaurant was having a good time, and she was pretty much doing this on her own bless her!!! As always the food at Rosa’s was very yummy, really good portions and price. We will be back to Rosa’s very soon for the food, but more importantly we’d go back for Donna! Thanks for a fab night.

This is a decent sized restaurant, catering for approximately 35 covers upstairs and another 35 or so downstairs. The staff are very friendly and efficient and there is a good selection of drinks. We had a chicken satay and papaya salad for starters that were well presented and tasty. My papaya salad needed a bit more of a kick to it, and I was able to add a little chilli oil from the various condiments that are provided on the table. For mains, we had the Pad Kra Prow (chilli and basil stir fry) and a red duck and pineapple curry. The duck was nicely cooked and tender, and the red curry sauce was delicious. The stir fry was also very tasty. All in all, this was a nice dining experience. One negative comment I'd have about Rosa's is the subsequent bombardment of emails from the place. In order to reserve a table, you are required to provide your email address, and having done so, you then get several marketing emails from them per day, which becomes both tiresome and unwelcome. After my second attempt of unsubscribing, these emails appear to have stopped.

Poor service. We waited for more than 30 minutes for our food to arrive just to be told that there was some confusion and the cook is just starting to make our food.

The team from Rosa’s Thai Bath were able to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday night. Our food was stunning, very authentic and staff were extremely accommodating (papaya salad without fish sauce for vegetarians). We had Pad Thai and the Aubergine curry with jasmine rice and papaya salad. Highly recommended for getting your Thai fix - thanks so much

I would not recommend this restaurant. Ordered Thai tea and it wasn't even orange like everywhere else on the face of the earth. Very watery. Ordered pumpkin crackers but was given prawn crackers. Ignored by employees despite walking up to them with clear intent.

Saturday November 30th Walked in at 14:20 and made a reservation for 2. The lady said it would be 30 minutes before one becomes available. She said we would receive a txt message on our phone when it is time for the booking. We got a txt saying the same thing. A second txt message didn't come through. We visited the restaurant and she said that our booking couldn't be fulfilled. We wasted 30 minutes waiting thinking we had a solid booking. This was not the case. This left us again trying to find somewhere to eat. Even later than before and in need of a toilet, due to the public ones being closed. Not good enough. If you don't have a table, within the 30 minutes. That should also be texted to the customer.

Hadn’t tried Rosa’s before but will definitely be going back. Really helpful staff who suggested dishes we wouldn’t have thought of. The food was really delicious.

I love thai food a lot and it’s not easy to find Thai restaurants have a original taste like Thailand but I found that here!! I order Som Tum (papaya salad), Gaeng Massaman Beef Curry, Pad Kra Prow (Pork Belly Stir Fry with Chilli & Basil) that all is really really amazing taste!! Good price and big portion. The restaurant is clean and decorated warmly like being in Thailand. The staff are very helpful, smiling and friendly. On the day I went to the restaurant I was served by staff name Pam and Cat both of them provided excellent service. If you looking for any Thai restaurant have a good taste, good price and good service you should come here! And you will love it.

PLEASE AVOID ROSA’s BATH! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Rosa’s this evening. I accidentally placed an order to Rosa’s Bath online and immediately (whilst the payment was being processed), realised my mistake and instantly called the restaurant to inform them of what had happened. I explained I was 100 miles away and couldn’t pick up the food order. They acknowledged my situation and assured me they wouldn’t start cooking the food and would let the kitchen know and because the order couldn’t be cancelled their end, advised me to contact Uber for a refund which we were already on to. However, when we got through to Uber via Live Chat, they informed me that the restaurant claimed the food had already been prepared, so no refund was possible. Confused, I called the restaurant again. The person who answered (who seemed to be same person I spoke to during my initial call) seemed unsure and didn’t seem to know what to say so to my surprise, passed me on to Chris, I think he said he was the Chef. Chris claimed the restaurant was quiet and the food in our order (4 dishes) had already been cooked by the time I had initially called Rosa’s - this was hard to believe, as I had called immediately after placing the order. He then went on to describe in detail how quickly he makes a Pad Thai being “less than 4 minutes .. placing the noodles in hot water and the rest of the ingredients in the wok” - explaining the process in a way that felt dismissive and more like he was defending the restaurant’s actions rather than addressing my concerns. Left with no resolution, I proceeded to end the call by requesting that, if the food had truly been prepared, they at least donate it to someone homeless to avoid food waste, if possible. The lack of empathy and the terrible handling of this situation from both Rosa’s and Uber has left a sour taste—especially as this happened on my youngest daughter’s birthday, which I mentioned to Chris (but met by silence) - a order which should have otherwise been a special treat which my daughter had requested but was marred by the poor handling of the situation. Mistakes happen, but the lack of clarity, complete lack of customer care, accountability, and understanding is unacceptable. I won’t be visiting or ordering from Rosa’s Bath (next time I am there) or Uber again, will be telling my acquaintances and colleagues in Bath to do the same, and strongly caution others to be wary of their customer service practices. The only shining light in this situation is having online platforms such as Google to be able to share these experiences, giving the consumer a voice in the hope it makes others aware before ordering.

Food was bad! Low quality meat and very small portions…was shocked because we love Rosa’s in Bristol but the Bath location needs to review their kitchen..very little flavor and weird chicken

We went there for lunch around 12.30, table was full. The waitress asked if we wanted to be on waiting list. We waited until 13.30 no reply. We went back to restaurant and 3 tables were free. If you don’t care about the waiting list why you asked us to do and let us wait for nothing. Your stir fry chilli and basil was awful, very salty and fried egg was full of oil.

It started out fine...our food was ok but after an hour we recieved the bill without asking...did not get asked if we would like to look at the dessert menu or if we wanted another drink instead 5 minutes after getting the unasked for bill we were "told" we needed to vacate the table in 10 minutes. I went downstairs to use the loo before leaving and at least 4 free tables down there...don't understand why we were treated this way....very disappointing experience.
