A little off the beaten path hidden away in central bath, the decor is beautiful and the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere too.

We had a couple of really nice dishes for lunch. five-spice chicken with jasmine rice, and tempura king prawns. All very pleasant and we will definitely be back for more. Watch out for the card terminal that may ask if you want to add service charge, even though it is already added to the bill.

Popped in for a few drinks, the girls were lovely, service was amazing. Great selection of food and drink.

Food arrived 45 minutes after ordering very slow We ordered 2 main course’s which had good flavour and texture however they felt closer to starters in terms of quantity In addition we had 2 drinks each which were in total amounted to £63 pounds Overall a disappointing experience

Little hidden place we stumbled across. We were in a hurry to eat and the staff were great at getting things served quickly which was great. Food was amazing. And prices were reasonable.

We were doing a food crawl instead of a pub crawl and came this absolute gem!! We have always walked past and never acknowledged this place and we are so glad we didn't walk past this time. The entrance with the courtyard was lovely and the decor very swish yet relaxing, I could have sat there for an entire evening. As we were only having a small option for tasting, being on a food crawl, we opted to have the sharing platter. Satay chicken, prawn sesame toast, vegetable spring rolls, pork dumplings and tempura prawns...and the best dipping sauce we have EVER had. In fact the entire meal left us wanting more and we will be back!!

A complete tourist trap. Chic ambience to make you pay double for small portions. Portions are one third of normal restaurants. Service is terrible as well. Will never ever go again.

Absolute fiasco. The waiters did not check the table entire time I couldn't make additional orders. The food portions are tiny and taste not great either. I highly recommend to avoid this place.

I used to come here with my parents 6 years ago - I come from Bristol. Just visited Bath for the first time since and genuinely enjoyed the return so much. Staff are great, food is just as I remember and the atmosphere is professional, calm and clean. The only smaller food business I’ve seen survive Covid.

Omg don’t get me started the food was absolutely amazing loved it especially my family, and the service is incredible there so nice and kind and the interior is gorgeous I love it here I’m definitely gonna come back as so should u, u gotta try it out 😄😄❤️

Firstly, on every table there is a card offering customers a free gift if you give this restaurant 5 stars and show the waiter, this justifies the many very positive reviews on the Google (and something I think should be banned as it makes a mockery of the whole system). Food, service and atmosphere are all perfectly OK, neither memorable or somewhere I'd go back to in a hurry though. Went for lunch and wasn't particularly good food and very little for the price. I would probably have gone three stars across the board if it wasn't trying to 'fix the system' by getting unjustified 5 star reviews. Much better options out there.

This restaurant can be found in one of the by-lanes within the old town. Landed up here by chance given our limited options on Boxing Day. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area. The service was pleasant as they were up-front about the wait times for the food given the limited staff and were very accomdative given that we were a young couple with a toddler and baby in a stroller. In terms of the food, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed their signature noodle dish, Bonghy-Bo noodles. Basically, imagine a Tom Yum based ramen with curry broth, prawn and boneless chicken noodles. This was a healthy serving too and was the stand-out dish. Our starters were the crispy calamari with fennel seeds, the calamari was chewy with an overdose of seasoning, not to our taste. The dumplings were fried and not as plump. Unfortunately, the Cantonese duck and fried rice was not enjoyable given the duck was over-cooked and chewy (like chicken gizzard). They have an expansive menu, so there may be other dishes that they do better.

Popped into Bonghy Bo after doing Christmas shopping footsore and weary for a bite of lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were not sure what to have to eat but they pointed us in the right direction and their suggestions were spot on. Food fabulous went out revived and ready for anything!

This place is a culinary gem! Set behind and above the street with a hidden courtyard once inside the decor marks it out as relaxed but somewhere with a high attention to detail. The longer you sit the more to feast your eyes on. The front-of-house team is not only polite and engaging but sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The serving staff adds to the charm with their calm and friendly demeanor. The standout, without a doubt, is the incredible food – the best chicken I've ever had in such a restaurant. We kicked off with a vegetable platter to share, also fantastic- ever so lighly fried with a sumptuous dipping suacr and fresh salad. The wine selection, reasonably priced at £30 per bottle, complements the meal perfectly. Don't miss their recommended 'own' draught lager. With a stunning setting, This place offers a perfect night out. A true culinary delight with a touch of Asian Fusion expertise!

Food is amazing, however, it felt like we were eating out on the arctic plains!!! Absolutely freezing 🥶 service equal to the iceberg, as we would have to be the Titanic to make contact. More staff needed with attention to attentiveness!!!

Super friendly welcome as soon as we walked in. Very honest about waiting time. Flavours and portion size were perfect. Level of spice in the nasi goreng was perfectly balanced so I could taste all the flavours, and presentation was excellent too. Great, friendly service from the Malaysian gentleman who greeted and served us. 100% recommend and will definitely make a beeline for it next time. Excellent value for money too.

Food is decent, but that's where it stops. Wait for hour and a half, poor service, the staff are not even apologetic. Not worth the time

This lovely restaurant is tucked away and could easily be missed. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional. We only wanted a sandwich, and this was very well presented, as was the coffee and macaroons.

Iceland frozen food for starters Followed by in-authentic duck salad for main - ie some duck on an English style salad. So disappointing when prices compare to authentic Asian cuisine close by. Won’t be visiting again.

Came here for a friend's birthday. The food was lovely, delivered really quickly. Sauces were flavourful and tasty. There was a lot of choice and we left very happy. The portions were the right size - not too small not too big.

Atmosphere is very good and food is generous. I would recommend the rice burger as it was very cool. It would be nice if they had a side of steamed veg but good experience overall.

Such an authentic experience! ✨ We got two appetizers: The Chicken Satay Skewers and the Vegetable Spring Rolls. For the mains, we tried: The Five Spice Chicken and the Thai Green Curry. Everything was so flavourful, can't wait to visit again :)

Overpriced small portions of average quality food. Main course of three spare ribs for £12.95 with little meat on them. Small portion of Green Thai curry which wasn’t served with rice, this was £4.50 extra. Very slow service. I won’t be returning.

After visiting Bath for the day, we decided to go for something to eat and stumbled across this little chinese restaurant. The food was excellent and would definitely come back next time I am in Bath. If the weather was nicer, it would be nice to sit outside in the courtyard.

As you can’t reply to the owners rather Glib comments - I’ll put my reply here - quite a few we’re complaining but probably won’t be bothered to review this - yes it was nearly 2 hours we wasted in your establishment, I actually do own a medium sized business and would welcome your waitress onto my staff at anytime. You however need lessons in customer service and dare I say it - cooking? We stumbled across this place today and all looked good at first. However I should have been a little suspicious when I saw plenty of customers sitting at tables with either empty glasses or no food. The manager was very keen to welcome us in but then after sitting down that was almost the last we saw of him - the food was pretty awful to be honest - Tom yum soup? Half a bowl of cold liquid that was awful. Then Pad Thai again absolutely shocking no prawn no peanuts only just warm and some Deep fried chicken stuff that was inedible. Refused to eat it and pulled the manager to one side and refused to pay. He offered a beer as an apology which I accepted but have to say this was because I was so thirsty after waiting for nearly 2 hours for the slop he supplied. Now for the good there’s a lovely young lady helping him serve who should not be exposed to this - if you’re reading this,, leave there are places crying out for good staff like you, you’re worth more than this place. My advice to Bonghy Bo would be - either stop taking In Customers if you are short staffed - or get yourself a job in Wagamamas, and stop wasting people’s time. One last thing for anyone reading this review should be aware of - as soon as you are seated you are almost bribed into leaving a good review in exchange for a drink or dessert, which the manager checks before giving you said drink. So caveat emptor.

Steve and Martin's food is very good, especially the grilled sea bass. There were fewer people when we went, so the food and service were quick. The decoration and atmosphere of this restaurant are unexpected. I love the gable-shaped lights on the wall.

Came with my clients for a group meal (12 people) and I’ve got to say the service, the food and the place itself blew my expectations. Steve and Martin took care of my group and I will forever be thankful for making sure this evening went well as it’s our last meal together.

Came to Bath for a day trip and found this place when we were walking around the city centre. We loved the modern and chillaxed atmosphere, service was very attentive, and food were visually stunning. The Green Curry is particularly good. Overall its not the most Authentic Thai meals we've had, but overall very enjoyable dining experience.

I have been coming here for years and everything is spectacular. However, recently the service, the decor, plus an awesome outside area and of course the food is absolutely delicious. I had the succulent fried soft shell crab’s lightly breaded and cooked in minutes until golden brown and crispy. And omg, the Tom Yum soup is the best I have ever had and I thought I made a pretty good one! I just won’t to try everything! An absolute must place to visit an experience not to be missed.
