Great environment and an amazing service however a bit to sweet for anyone's taste

As a Thai person, I highly recommend this restaurant. The flavors are authentic, just like eating in Thailand. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional Thai style. The staff are attentive and provide great recommendations, and the food arrives quickly. The food is very delicious. It's like you're not eating in England. And most importantly, I really like the decoration of the shop. The staff gave good advice. This meal is extremely delicious.

Authentic Thai food experience. The staff was polite and helpful. The ambience was great and the decor was quite extraordinary. Extensive food menu. We had ordered for seafood pad thai, duck with jasmine rice. All the items were delicious. Dessert with mango sticky rice brought back Thailand trip memories. Highly recommended place.

Food is Good. The atmosphere is okay-ish and food is on the pricier side as it's a tourist spot.

This is the 3rd time I've been to Thaikhun and honestly it's one of the best thai food I've had in the UK - their mango stikcy rice is to die for! Patty was super helpful and gave great suggestions on portions. Would defo re-visit if I'm ever in town again.

We went on our daughters recommendation. The food was delicious, the service friendly & prompt. We will definitely be back.

I love the spicy thai fried rice with pork belly

Enjoyed a delicious Thai meal here, having enjoyed the Oxford branch previously. We had a few small plates to share as well as a main dish each. Coconut prawns were nice, tamarind chicken was delicious, chicken and prawn toast was lovely too. We were looked after by Sea, she gave us great service. The only reason this isn’t a five star review is that the Pad Thai dish was a little bland and had much less tamarind flavour than the same dish in Oxford. But otherwise, great!

Went for lunch quite busy we ordered many dishes but still got foods quite quick. Which is I’m happy Well done chefs 👍. Most of food are tasty but I’m sorry have to point out its only one dish too salty. Staff are polite good service.

Absolutely amazing food- we ordered the pineapple fried rice and seafood udon- exceptionally amazing pineapple fried rice- loved the flavour and the pineapple surprisingly complemented the rice! The seafood in the udon was very fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend- it exceeded our expectations 👍

Thaikhun is my favourite Thai restaurant in Bath. I just had a fantastic birthday meal with my family, a real variety of food and strong flavours. Our waitress Sea was lovely as well. I would definitely recommend going here!

If i could give this an extra star i would, As a teenager wanting a nice lunch with my friends i recommend this place 100%!! The service is fast and they go out of their way to give you what they want, The staff I would like to say Sea who served me has done a great job and gave me and my friends a amazing time and I think she should get recognised for her outstanding attitude to working.

I recently visited Thaikun and had an amazing dining experience, largely thanks to our lovely server, Pi Sea. She was incredibly charming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Pi Sea’s excellent service truly enhanced our experience at Thaikun. Highly recommend visiting and asking for her – she’s fantastic!

Food and drink were both incredible, with loads of options for people with dietary requirements.

Food we ordered we sadly didn’t enjoy, others may have liked it but it really wasn’t tasty for us. Last time we came food was outstanding that said they squeezed us in today whilst very busy which we appreciated. The chair was uncomfortable and table was small, they were very lovely staff as always but food wasn’t at all enjoyable.

Always stop by here for lunch when in Bath. Not the cheapest but it's the best! Recommended.

A woeful meal. The platter was ok, but the main meal was void of any flavour in any of the dishes. The sticky rice was a disaster - it comes in plastic bags like it is straight out of the microwave and cooked to still be raw. It's more like a hard bouncy ball than anything edible. When our plates were collected, the server was supr9ised at how much food we left, and we said it was unacceptable, but we still were given a bill for 97.00.

Food was authentic, although it’s a bit too sweet for me but overall it’s delicious. The staff were really nice too, a very good start for 2025.

loved this spot and left a 5 star review the first time i came. however came back recently and was disappointed by their inconsistency. all of us ordered the tom yam soup which i raved about. however some bowls came with more milk than others and all of the bowls tasted different? i’ve attached two pictures of the supposed same dish and look at the colour difference! also avoid the egg fried rice because it was absolutely tasteless. in fact i could almost taste a raw eggy taste and it was not appetising

I ordered food and it was never delivered. They called me to say another rider had taken the food but they refused to make me another meal. Nor would they refund me. Incredibly poor service.

Throughly satisfied my craving for thai food, a delicious bowl of tom yum, served quickly by courteous staff. The place looks amazing too and the atmosphere is great. We'll be stopping here again very soon!

I had dinner here with a group of 10 family members. The staff were very helpful in getting us a table together, and the atmosphere felt quirky and quite authentic. There was some delay before we were asked for our drinks order, and the waitress didn't hide her impatience while some members of our party asked questions and took a while making their minds up. The food was very tasty however, and my wife and I will certainly be giving it another try in the future. All in all a fun place for good food - slightly let down by rather poor service.

The waitress was probably going home so she wasn't too interested in serving. Food very expensive for the quality offered. You can eat it, but don't expect a riot of flavors and aromas

Pathetic service, we waited for 30 minutes for our food, which included only 2 simple items. Upon enquiring, They said there is some mixup with the order and mentioned that the order is just on the way. We waited for 10 more minutes and we see that the customer who came 25 minutes after us are being served, but our order is not in sight. When we started leaving the lady behaved so rudely and lying about lots of customers and this is a usual waiting time. It is pathetic how they treat the customers.

Second visit 24.12.24 and still no better.... The pork dish was very dry and the chicken dish had the rice fried with the meat rather than separate with white rice and finally the pudding of mango sticky rice. The mango was old and brown. Absolutely terrible today...... 2923.....I ordered Papaya Salad/Somtam.... It arrived on a small metal tea tray which was grubby and chipped so the first thing I had to do was ask for a bowl to eat it from..... Then the tomatoes and the beans had not been crushed. So whoever pertained to make it didn't know what they were doing.... In addition, this was marked in the menu as 4 chilies so I was expecting at least 4 chillies when I got was one chili split in two so it was very very weak and a tiny portion....Better alternatives close by....

Eaten here several times and attended one of their cooking schools which was a great experience. Super friendly staff and tasty food. The restaurant is decorated brilliantly.

Only noodle menu was good part of the restaurant. Egg fried rice was not tasty, and especially the amount of pork belly was too little.

we are family of 9 and had a nice time at Thaikun Bath. the food is really nice and we had a free crackers too! Also, Sea and Jane were really lovely and helpful to serve us food and answer all our questions! thank you, we had a great time here. We will come to visit some time again for sure.

Friendly prompt service, delicious food served in big portions and a cool interior design with a lovely atmosphere. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our late lunch/dinner very much!

Nop was our waiter and was absolutely incredible so lovely and charming!!! The food was amazing had the king prawn pineapple and the chicken street noodles plus more!!! My family and I had the best time at Thaikhun. We are definitely coming back!!

Really nice food and good service too. My wife is gluten intolerant and when she mentioned this they produced a separate menu for her which had a really good selection of food, not just a few. The food we had was very good, decent size portions and nice and hot, (I know that should be a given but isn’t always). The pork strips were excellent. All of the staff we spoke to were very pleasant as well.

I came here a few weeks ago with my teenage son. We needed a meal quite quickly because we had to catch the bus to the park-and-ride. We mentioned this to ‘Sea’ on arrival and she said it would be no problem at all. The meal was served really quickly and as always it tasted delicious. We always come to this restaurant on a visit to Bath, I would definitely recommend.

For a city centre restaurant this was OK. Dish prices were reasonable, service was quick and the food was hot. I watched it being prepared in front of me. The Tom Yum was very very oily, essentially Tom Yum paste with added water. Drinkable but far from the best. The stir fry was very edible but again very heavy on soy sauce. It was busy with several groups so clearly popular

One of the best Thai Green Curry I've ever had. The rice was so light and fluffy also. My partner had the pork belly and said it was great too.

Unbelievable massiman curry, The sharing starter was very good. Thai green prawn curry was excellent! Definitely recommend 👌

Great lunch today. Delicious tofu pad thai and katsu chicken. Attentive staff. They sell CBD drinks :) Authentic feel and look. Highly recommended. Very large restaurant!

You won't want to skip this if you enjoy Asian cuisine. It's absolutely delicious and there are many dishes to choose from. The lovely receptionist is very warm and patient.

My first meal at Bath was amazing! The environment is perfect for a date, and Miss Pomme provided excellent service. She asked about our preferences and recommended dishes that suited us perfectly!

This was an outstanding meal. We had the pad Thai and a chicken katsu. The restaurant was wheelchair accessible, and the staff were considerate and accommodating around allergies. It was the best pad Thai I've ever had and I would highly recommend to anyone that they come here.

Walked in at 5.30 pm for early dinner and got shown the way to a table. When we were just ready to order, staff asked whether we could vacate the table by 6.15 pm, which I had much doubt and therefore left. Not a big problem for a Friday night, but only if they could inform me before I was seated.

Arrived. Stood at the front for five minutes, three waiters walked past me. No service. Walked out. Poor.

This restaurant in Bath is very authentic with the whole place decked out in Thai bits and bobs on the walls ceiling & everywhere you look! An open kitchen produces wonderful tasty food from the greater Thai region. Service was prompt & the menu simple to navigate. We had the full sharer for three. The dishes were delicious & plentiful & what we didn’t eat my daughter had it put up 4a takeaway. A great place to eat in my opinion

Love this place! Been here many times and every time is amazing. For all my people the chicken is halal ✨they’re food is FRESH and hot every single time they never miss 💅 you gotta try 🫵 service is great and always happy to accommodate walk ins even on busy weekends, they also do student/ NHS discount :) Pics are all from seperate trips! Deffo recommend the basil fried rice with chicken and the KSG noodle soup ( unreal flavour) I’ve tried to add the name of the food don’t hate me if it’s wrong!

Atmosphere was phenomenal! Really enjoyed the vintage thai decor, really felt like home. The food was good but lacked the umph that would bring it to great. Service was wonderful!

Thaikun exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of exquisite food, excellent service, and delightful atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

So I went out with my kids and my wife and as soon I was shown to the table, that even the atmosphere in the room is soo busy, we were given an amazing friendly service as well as the food was served quick. Special thanks to Daniel for serving the food and Sea for taking my order. Will defo come back😊

Poor allergy management! (The below is a complaint from August that still has not been responded to). the allergy menu for drinks on the website is wrong. it flags up nuts for all cocktails. another member of our party had a soy allergy we notified the team as we were seated and used the scanned allergy menu and reminded our waiter when we ordered. when the food was brought out another waitress told us that the dish maybe marinated in soy sauce and that we should have told the staff about an allergy. she went to check in the kitchen and came but and said it was soy free however at the point we had lost our confidence in the restaurants allergy handling and the affected party was uncomfortable eating the dish, we explained this to our waiter and he was ok. 5 mins later a lady who we assume was Yh manger came out and explained the dish was fine and that we should use the allergy next time when we explained we did everything correct she raised her voice (other tables looked on at the altercation) and argued with all 5 of use that we were in the wrong and as a restaurant they take allergies seriously. unfortunately this clearly is not the case as she did not have a word with the waitress who misinformed us but at the customers. the dish was eventually taken away and not included in our bill. we continued the night with a second dinner at giggling squid where the member with the soy allergy was able eat a soy free meal with confidence as it came out with an allergy flag. also some ordered a drink it didn’t come out so we chase it up and they said ohh yeah we don’t have any they didn’t think to inform us. overall poor dining experience which is a shame as I have eaten here previously and enjoyed the experience

My first meal and lunch in Bath. I ordered the Papaya Salad( Som Tam) which was spiced to my request. Fresh and fragrant , I usually have this in most Thai restaurants as it sets a great beginning to any meal. I ordered a Thai Basil & Chili Chicken Rice; large portion size and was absolutely delectable. They had a good deal on cocktails so ordered a Ginger Pineapple Mojito. Was really nice and refreshing. Would love to go again if I visit Bath.

What a fantastic place! Once again did not disappoint quite the contrary! From the beginning when Pathy welcomed us, they were full and did not have enough staff but I came in with 8 of my clients and she said that she would have to look after us as while welcoming the customers in the restaurant and that it might take a bit longer. She was an absolute delight! Smiley, welcoming, patient and efficient and we were served quickly too! I have a hiking business and could not book and my customers really wanted to see what all the fuss was about while we dreamed of that food from the beginning till the end of our hike! Fantastic food, clean and original place and great service from everyone… can’t wait to be back.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Thaikhun in Bath! We ordered a sharing feast platter, and the food was absolutely delicious. The combination of meat, vegetables, spices, and sauce was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. To top it off, the service was attentive and prompt

My delivery order from here was incorrect, so I rang the restaurant for a resolution. The lady on the other end of the phone, was very short, scoffed at me during the call and laughed at me when I was confused about what was being asked of me. Terrible customer service.

Always had great food in here, great service and great atmosphere

I visited Bath for the day and was struggling to find somewhere nice for lunch. We stumbled across this place on the way back the car park and are very glad we did. Amazing food! Really tasty! The location is fascinating too. Loads of interesting wall art and pieces to view whilst sat there. The staff are really friendly and gave advice on the dishes when prompted. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Great place for simple Thai food. Always thought it looked a bit of a theme / chain restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. Will deffo come again for lovely green thai curry & a beer!

Food was OK, not authentic enough for the prices they charge. No Thai veggies, no baby aubergines. Thier option of veg on a green curry is carrots. It was just decent enough on flavours. Decor and venue are lovley cant complain, however Some of staff were extremely rude after we mentioned we didn't order one item. They got very shirty and rude. We spent nearly £150 on food only to be spoken to so rudely when a mistake was mentioned. I payed the full bill including service but should not have payed the service charge after such rude behaviour. Won't visit again. To be honest I think the manager lady also has some racism issues. The way they handled us was terrible. Really should not have paid the bill at all but we are respectful people.

This is an edit of my previous 5 star review. I've eaten here an average of once a month for the last 18 months. In this time there has been a decline in both food and service. Portion sizes are very inconsistent but seems now to always be fairly small. All the subtleties of flavour have disappeared and they're just serving greasy noodles. Some of the staff are really rude, and their attitudes are entirely off putting. They obviously hate their jobs and it comes across from the second we walked in. I thought I'd give the place one more try having had a break for a few weeks but having eaten their again yesterday and had a very disappointing experience yet again we won't be returning.

Ordered for delivery - small portions except for ridiculous quantity of prawn crackers. A drizzle of sweet chili sauce was provided. Pad Thai was greasy and not flavourful. Give it a miss.

Service is very fast. We will definitely be back when next in Bath.

If you are Asian, please don't come to this restaurant for racial discrimination!! And there are other comments on Google review that discriminate against Asians!!! Although this is an Asian restaurant, a middle-aged woman, who received us with a poker face all the way, she smiled happily when facing white people and turned her head and continued to have a bad attitude towards us. I don't understand why an Asian restaurant treats Asians differently from white people. After giving feedback to their clerk, she explained to us that she was in a bad mood, so she was in a good mood in the face of white people. Was she in a bad mood in the face of Asians?? 别来，歧视亚洲人，赶紧逃

I’ve been this restaurant for many times but really disappointed. The service is bad now and the waitress was so rude. The food became smaller portions but the price was increased. I used to be a loyal customer but won’t be back again . Not recommended.

Had such a lovely experience at Thaikhun. Even though they were short staffed they still made sure with had a lovely experience. Food was tasteful would highly recommend.

Nice place with pretty good Thai food. Coming from Asia, I have tried a few Thai restaurants in Bath. I must say the food here is quite similar to that of those in Thailand. Well, a bit spicier be good :-) Had a Tom Yum Udon with prawns. Generous portion of prawns, the soup could be better with more Tom Yum and lime perhaps, but still yummy, nonetheless. Also had a chicken spring roll, this was really good as it was still juicy inside and crispy on the outside. Not many can do it as well. Only had a very light lunch here, definitely be back!

Arrived on 28th at 1: 30 for lunch and unfortunately the supervisor was abrupt and extremely unresponsive and unhelpful How does she get away with working in a restaurant with people and be so abrupt!! From the moment we sat day and took and she took the order she was extremely rude. However, the another waitress name Cindy was extremely helpful. Curry was like the red Thai curry was watered down like soup.
