The best restaurants in Bath and North East Somerset South West

Had food here for the first time and sadly the last, it wasn't great. Will not be returning. Management need to sort it out. Staff where nice and friendly

Stopped off for a morning coffee during a stay in Bath. Very narrow till area which with 3 couples in there was quite crowded. The array of cakes and bread were fantastic, all smelt amazing and fresh. The coffees we ordered were made quickly, tasted great and were reasonably priced - what more can you ask for from a coffee shop?!

Truly excellent from start to finish. We had the tasting menu and wine flight. It was all delicious, and such good value! The service was fantastic, everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend!

Food was real good as long as you can cook meat, Great date night as there was a fun gimmick in cooking and choosing what goes on the grill etc. Fun while drunk 👍

Beautiful burgers! Very tasty. Had as a takeaway, would highly recommend! Also the waffle fries were a delight.

Lukewarm coffee and rather weak Asked for the haslet to be served separately request ignored Sent it back as it was for a vegetarian which we had told them They simply took it out and gave it back to us The cheese had melted on the haslet so now he had only egg in roll Would never come back here Also very cold cafe We had to keep our coats on Avoid this place

Poor service meal was hot and cold, warm gravy, meat was very had to cut very undercooked. Some vegetables were hot and cooked some vegetables were under cooked. Order a cappuccino it wasn’t, just warm coffee with cold milk. Service was very slow. Won’t go back again. Charged 10% service charge.

Calling this a pub, might be a bit of a stretch. However it does seem to offer a couple of cracking skittles alleys and likewise bathroom taps. Highlights include: - ITV4 being bashed out at high volume, couple of very interesting documentaries for the landlord to enjoy whilst dosing off - renovation work seems to be ‘ongoing’….not quite sure what’s the plan is here but I like what I see so far - the indoor outdoor roof around the bar is something really special… - random man popped in a pair of sliders and collected the biggest McDonald’s order I have ever seen…before scurrying away into some sort of cupboard at the back of the pub - “If the Guinness runs out, the Guinness runs out…I’m not going down there to change it” - an element of self service at the bar, where the landlord wondered off mid pour…kept us on our toes - he certainly did not approve any women paying the bar tab - some really good local literature - tops smells throughout Certainly worth a visit if in the area. Some say it’s well located, as it’s close to town. 3 stars for an entertainment!

Great food free delivery and good prices. Recommend however they no longer sell fried chicken

“I recently ordered from Masala Takeaway, and I must say the food was exceptional! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The butter chicken was creamy and full of flavor, while the biryani had just the right amount of spice. Everything arrived hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. Excellent service and timely delivery made the experience even better. Highly recommend Masala Takeaway for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine!”

Mi hijo y yo tomamos un almuerzo rápido aquí este fin de semana mientras visitábamos Bath. Queríamos probar en un lugar independiente en lugar de una gran cadena. Elegí un Brie y cebolla caramelizada y mi hijo tomó un huevo mayo. Nos dimos cuenta de que cobraban extra por comer, pero como la caja registradora estaba en una mesa en la puerta de una tienda muy pequeña, eso no habría sido posible. Esperamos en el frío, por suerte el servicio fue rápido. Las baguettes fueron envueltas en una bolsa cuando fueron entregadas. En primer lugar, las baguettes eran perfectas, suaves con la cantidad justa de crujiente. Sin embargo, ambas baguettes contenían ensalada, lechuga, tomate y pepino - esto estaba bien, inesperado pero bien, en el mío, pero sabía terrible en el huevo mayo! No había mención de ensalada en el tablero en la lista de ingredientes y no nos preguntaron si lo queríamos o no. Este es un descuido masivo cuando es posible tener una alergia al tomate! Perseveré con el mío, ya que el sabor general estaba bien, pero mi hijo tenía un par de bocados antes de comenzar! Qué desperdicio ya que no son baratos. Tal vez mi error fue no volver directamente y pedir otro sin la ensalada obligatoria. Si alguna vez vuelvo a Bath podría intentarlo de nuevo, pero comprobaría que sé lo que estoy recibiendo.

I go into Coffee #1 semi regularly and service is always pretty good but the cups are always dirty. Maybe the salt needs replacing in the dishwasher or something but there’s always tea stains inside the cups and last time there was lipstick on the edge of the cup.

Neve was lovely and the whole, if small, team were working so hard. The food was plentiful and delicious and the beer was nice and cold.
