We recently visited Gurkha 3 to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Despite the restaurant being very busy (a clear sign of its popularity), the service and atmosphere were warm and welcoming, creating a lovely environment for a gathering of family and friends. The food was exceptional. My wife enjoyed the Chicken Bhuna, which was bursting with flavour and perfectly spiced. I had the Chicken Korma, a creamy delight with tender chicken that melted in the mouth. We also shared Peshwari Naans, which were light, soft, and had a wonderful hint of sweetness that complemented our dishes beautifully. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, and the quality of the food and service exceeded our expectations. Gurkha 3 is a place we would visit again and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who loves Nepalese and Indian cuisine.

The French Patisserie at Saveurs is incredible, with delicious cakes, coffee and bread; highly recommend! We had coffee and raspberry chocolate browny; wow, wow wow! We also had pear flan with amazing buttery pastry; so good. Its difficult if you are just visiting, so we took away more delicious patisserie for later

We went on a chilly November day, so plenty of seating available. It is dog friendly so we brought our dog with us and he was given a few biscuits by the staff! We had a cream tea each and the scones were huge and delicious, and the cream and jam portions were generous too! Friendly staff and lovely views.

Great place. Lots of ciders. Local ones if you fancy trying some new and some commercial ones too. Food is simple and hot. If you like eating in Michelin star restaurants then forget it! If you are a normal person looking for sensible priced beer and grub then you will love it!
