The best restaurants in South West

Fantastic !!! Food+ service+ location + clean. Loved it! Best stop after Stonehenge. Thank you! We were 4 adults and 5 kids, we had the best time of our trip here

We stopped here with our grandchildren after our visit to the Cathedral. Simple lunch menu sandwiches, jacket potatoes cream & savoury teas etc. The children were pleased with their mini monks lunchbox, I chose the full monks bacon & stilton sandwich (plus crisps cake & drink). Fairly priced restricted seating inside, it was a nice so we chose an outside table.

We had a daily special of mushrooms in a scrumptious creamy sauce on sourdough toast, followed by a vegetarian pizza with pine kernels which was also delicious.  Although there was a large table of 10 on the weekday evening, we were served efficiently & thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We were there on holiday but if we lived nearby, we would definitely visit regularly.

Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities here. The public toilets are locked at this time of year and the car park toilets were flooded and unusable. We went in to order as the selection seemed OK but did not stay as we had to go to the only open pub to use their toilets and stayed in there! Please sort your toilet situation out Polruan.

We had a great time celebrating at Dirty Gerties. Will ran an extremely fun cocktail making session (3 cocktails and a complimentary shot). Would thoroughly recommend this place!

We had our wedding here this weekend and it was honestly the best weekend we’ve ever had! The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. After the sad news about Keith we knew how hard it was for them all but they were amazing!! We want to do it all again. Our girls are lactose intolerant and they were so accommodating to what they could have and made them feel so special! Our whole family were amazed with the views and service aswell! We 100% recommend getting married here or even staying!!

We visited the pub for 3 evening meals in a week and everything was outstanding! We were staying close by and after our first evening meal we were hooked. We can thoroughly recommend the Pork Chop - all 24 oz of it! , Rib Eye Steak, Beef Bourguignon and the Pork Belly. If you love home cooked food and have a big appetite this is the pub for you. The staff are all so welcoming and attentive and the Locals Dogs are just as friendly!

If only all cafes were as friendly and welcoming as this one the world would be a brighter place

I was at Nawaab with my family, and we had a great experience. The food we ordered was delicious, full of flavor, and served hot.

Very good value, the freshly cooked food is probably the best fish and chips I've had in the town for 20 years. Well done to Adrian's!

This place is absolutely NOT where google maps says it is...

They offer you peppercorn sauce like it’s a free sauce then sneakily charge you £3.95 for it at the end when you get the bill, very silly move

For all ice cream lovers, different to the normal flavours but absolutely delicious

Nice little local pub playing good music. No food available on the day we were there. Think it's just Friday/Saturday/Sunday
