What a fantastic surprise! Booked after looking on reviews and hoping they were honest. Absolutely delicious! We were on holiday from the Cotswolds with friends from America, they were truly blown away by the quality and taste of the food. We were just as surprised having previously lived near west London and being spoilt in Indian restaurants. We all wish we could be locals and if we venture this way again we will definitely be back! Fabulous!

Having first read the most current reviews we were a little sceptical as to their authenticity, my wife and I can now confirm this restaurant is absolutely fabulous. Unpretentious (clean and comfortable) surroundings without bling, don’t hint at the truly flavoursome food. Served with a warm welcome and a genuine smile. There were only two complaints from us, the portions were too big and we don’t live near enough to be regular visitors!! We started with the customary papadum and pickles and vegetable samosas, lovely. We then had the chicken dupiasza, the Saag Gost Sarson (lamb with spinach etc) together with a portion of garlic rice and a keema nan bread. Both dishes were truly delicious but sadly we were unable to finish it all 😢.

Amazing food!!! We ate here for the first time on Friday night and the food was so delicious, so much flavour in the curries. The service was amazing, very friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back! 😊

Ordered at 1pm in the afternoon for 7:30pm that night. Came at 6:30 and I wasn’t even home yet. They said they would redeliver for 7:30 and didn’t come until gone 9pm. Appalling service. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE.

We ordered at 1pm to be delivered at 7.30pm. The food arrived at 6.30pm when I was still at work. I called and they said they would redeliver. It's now 8.30pm and still no food. Absolutely useless. Please don't waste your time and money on this company. We will never ever use them again.

We visited Camborne for the first time and were looking for halal food. We came across Nawaab and absolutely loved it! During our stay, we had food from them every day, trying their grill, curries, and naan—everything was delicious! Having experienced halal food in Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Leicester, we were amazed to find such incredible flavors all the way here in Camborne. The food was truly outstanding!

We've gotten takeaway from Nawaab a few times now over the past year and it has always been an incredible experience. The food is always hot, delicious, and plentiful. They have a wide range of curries that are all very flavorful and aromatic and have very distinctive flavours - more than can be said for other places. We ordered on Christmas Eve and our food was ready early! The staff who greeted us were incredibly smiley and friendly and gave me a thoroughly warm feeling, as well as warm food. If you enjoy an Indian takeaway, you will enjoy this place!! P.S: The Onion Bhajis are blimmin' HUGE!

The food is brilliant and the price even better. I always get the value meal and it is always worth it. The service is fast and the owner is an incredibly kind man who genuinely cares about his business.

Ordered a takeaway Myself I had chicken shashilik and partner had chicken tikka I was very disappointed Firstly both our meals had no sauce on our meals , very dry Both meals very bland in taste My meal the vegetables were black and burnt and I had chunks of vegetables cut in hugh cubes that obviously they couldn’t be bothered to cut so for example I had a whole onion cut into 4 parts and I had 3 parts of a whole onion on my plate, a green pepper I had half a green pepper that was cut in half With this I had dry chicken (5 pieces) On a bed of egg fried rice You can imagine how disappointed I was to eat this bland dried food with burnt vegetables and no sauce I had a bowl of salad with lettuce and tomato as complementary side It took the Micky This is the first time I used this company and will not order again , I don’t understand how it has so many positive results as I would give this a 0 if I could

The food is banging. Really banging, Garlic mushrooms are really fab and the lamb korma is some of the best ever. You need to bring your own alcohol and not the snappiest service in the world. However I do really like it.

The best Indian locally (and I’m Helston) great food, excellent staff and the price is awesome. Worked it out and for the same amount of food we got the equivalent in the Helston Indians would have cost us over £40 more!! That’s just to feed 4 of us! The value meals are enough for 2 and they cost £13 which is the price of a curry in our local ones in Helston with these you get a curry, rice, potato dish, and 2 poppadoms

We visited this restaurant on Monday evening. Very well presented and clean. I asked if they can make me a Chicken Balti because it was not on the menu and i`m so glad they did. I asked to see the chef after my meal and told him it was the best Balti i have had in a very long time. My wife had the Chicken Buna and again it was delicious. The rice and nan breads along with the poppadoms and pickles were first class. The portion sizes were also very good. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will be returning again in the new year when i visit Cornwall again with work. Have a very Merry Christmas and keep up the good work. Ask for Lamb Chilli if you’re okay with spice, best curry in the entirety of Camborne. Their Brinjal and Saag bhaaji are equally good!

Our favourite restaurant, never less than exquisite food, impeccable service

I have recently been staying in Camborne and I cannot fault this restaurant and takeaway. I have been twice in last week and both times were excellent. I went in the restaurant and got takeaway. Staff have been friendly both times, quick and efficient and accommodating. I had a Lamb Rogan Josh, Prawn Puri x2 and Pilau rice and I’d highly recommend all!

Went with a couple of girlfriends and the food was incredible, service was amazing the guys bent over back wards to make sure we had a nice meal and didn't rush us at all when we spent ages gabbing after our meal 😂 Definitely recommend!

Warm welcome, great service and wonderful authentic cuisine. Five of us visited this restaurant for the first time having walked past on our way to another local Indian restaurant, so decided to give it a go. Not disappointed, in fact quite the opposite and will definitely return. So nice to have plenty of room and to be able to hear each other. Remember it’s bring your own alcohol. Cost wise - 2 popadoms with pickles and sauces, one of the chefs special curries, rice and nan bread circa £20 a head, with very generous portions as well as being delicious. We will return !

We went here for a meal as a family and the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly and the presentation of the food was excellent. The staff were happy to cater to our needs and the food tasted delicious. We had some starters as well as mains and the starters we had were incredible we haven't had them anywhere else. They also offered a pudding menu which is not always common in Indian restaurants so this was a nice touch. Awesome food and we all had a great time. Thank you we will come again.

I did not eat at the restaurant, as I got takeaway. However, our food came in 10 minutes and it was delicious. We ordered garlic naan, vegetable samosa, meat samosa, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. They were friendly and personable.

Absolutely superb Bangladeshi food, couldn't fault it and the staff were very obliging.

Just ordered on Uber eats, delivery time was spot on and very accurate. Food arrived hot. Food was okay, how ever the Bhuna was practically tasteless, and the chicken in the korma was quite dry. However the korma sauce was very nice.

Me and my partner have just had a meal here for the first time. I was not expecting great things as the restaurant is in a small town with not that much choice of places to go. We were very pleasantly surprised. We both had king prawn dhansak and shared a peshwari naan and coconut rice with a couple of diet cokes. Everything tasted really fresh, bursting with flavours and with exactly enough spice. The rice was done to perfection as was the peshwari. I'd say it was one of the best Indians we've had and at £44 it was excellent value for money. Service was quick and the owner checked back with us on how we were enjoying the meal. We'll definitely come here to eat again. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What can I say? Happened upon this restaurant on our visit to Camborne and we were more than pleasantly surprised both by the friendly staff and the excellent food. There were 4 of us who had different meals with sides, bread and rice and I can honestly say that every dish was unique in flavour and absolutely delicious. The service was also exceptional and the staff very friendly. We would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Thank you for a great meal.

Wow. This was a the first time we have eaten in this restaurant….. the food was absolutely stunning, the ingredients were fresh and you can taste all the spices in every dish. The portions are very very generous. The restaurant itself is clean, modern and has a real good vibe. The staff were superb, attentive and super friendly…. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Nawaab. Despite having a reservation at Sultanz Restaurant, the staff aggressively tried to physically usher us into their establishment. This felt so pushy and unprofessional. Such tactics not only made us feel distressed but it also reflects poorly on the restaurant’s ethics. I strongly advise others to avoid this place if they value respectful service.

One of the best takeaway I ever had,full of flavour and taste.

Fantastic. Bit of a pleasant suprise. This small curry house in Cambourne looks a bit basic, but oh, the food 😋 We ordered a lamb vindaloo and a lamb dupiaza for our mains with a peshwari naan and plain rice to accompany them. We took a few poppadoms as a starter. The poppadoms were super fresh, light, and very tasty, the perfect start to our meal. The mains were something else, though. Both dishes were served with delicious chunks of tender lamb, full of flavour that melted in the mouth. The vindaloo sauce was amazing, a strong hit of pepper as it entered the mouth, followed quickly by the sweetness of tomatoes. The dupiaza was lightly spiced with just a hint of sweetness, exactly as it should be. My only grumble would be the peshwari naan. Although freshly cooked and tasty, it was somewhat lacking in filling. There is a hint of sugar and coconut but no dried fruit or nuts. That being said, it did not distract from the overall meal. Large portions and reasonable prices made this a meal to remember. You can be sure that if we ever visit Cambourne again, the Nawaab will definitely be on the "to do" list.

Me and my family went for a super lunch, and the food was very good and delicious. The service was excellent. Every food was halal. I wish them all the best, and if we come to Newquay, we'll definitely come back again.

We both enjoyed our meals. My usual go to, from any Indian restaurant would be a vindaloo, but on this occasion I asked for pathia and asked if it could be possible to have it extra hot. The result was perfect. Exactly what I'd hoped for. Superb curry that should maybe be added to the menu as an alternative to vindaloo. Highly recommend. Thanks.

Being an Indian we often get disappointed by some restaurants claim to be Indian but we are so content and enjoyed all the dishes to the fullest. The service was extraordinary and the staff is very hospitable. I totally recommend them when you fancy Indian in Cornwall and St Ives.

A complicated one to review - the food was outstanding, service was a little to be desired, which I'm sure with future visits it will be perfect ( we absolutely will be returning ) our daughter has a severe dairy and egg allergy and the staff constantly gave us reassurance that all would be fine. In the end it was. There was no consistency. Would I eat here again, absolutely, the staff was fantastic and interacted with my son, just the little details. Thank you all for the wonderful food and drinks. We will probably see you next weekend

Ordered the Jalfrezi value meal to take away and was very pleased. Both the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Bombay Aloo tasted great, and the rice was beautifully soft and fluffy. The food was fresh and hot, having just been cooked and the taste was authentic. It was very good value for money.

Thought we try this restaurant as the one just around the corner has gone downhill, over cooked meals & staff needs happy pills & spends more time on mobile phone then giving customer service. OMG we were happy we did. Nawaab take away & restaurant so friendly staff and welcoming. The food and service were over the moon. Onion Bhaji’s out of this world double the size from around the corner and not over cooked, mixed Kebab again well presented & fresh. Main courses again fresh clean delicious food & nothing out of order with the food & staff. We marked this restaurant the best in the area.
