Lavender House Hotel in Teignbridge

We had our wedding here this weekend and it was honestly the best weekend we’ve ever had! The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. After the sad news about Keith we knew how hard it was for them all but they were amazing!! We want to do it all again. Our girls are lactose intolerant and they were so accommodating to what they could have and made them feel so special! Our whole family were amazed with the views and service aswell! We 100% recommend getting married here or even staying!!

We needed a couple of days break.. the lavender hotel ticked all the box's. Breakfast and dinner were terrific. Cooked to perfection and served by Keith ... The bed was the best ive we've slept in and the cotton bedding was so crisp and clean. (as you'd expect) All in all, a most relaxing break and thoroughly recommended.. Well done ✅

Wedding we attended was amazing. Whole day came together to make unforgettable memories. Staff know exactly how to host and look after everyone. Food is excellent from breakfast to wedding meal.

Rude telephone manner , Want to book a tea afternoon and got a right stroppy woman on the phone, Won’t be bothering coming here anytime again

Wedding venue 😍 wonderful place. Beer expensive BUT Dawn the barmaid was just wonderful looking after everyone with a smile and at speed. A great time was had by all.

Attended a fabulous wedding party here. Nothing to fault. Food, service, venue and atmosphere all top notch.

We spent two nights at Lavender House Hotel and can highly recommend a visit. It is conveniantly located close to Dartmoor National park and Buckfast Abbey. Lovely garden, very friendly staff and great breakfast.

What a fantastic experience we had for our wedding on 10.05.24. Keith and his team surpassed any expectations we had with the total attention to detail and the family atmosphere from all his staff. We had the afternoon tea with BBQ in the evening and the food was awesome and plentiful. Keith keeps a close eye on everything to ensure the day runs smoothly and we cannot recommend them enough. The venue is great and the grounds are absolutely stunning. We will be going back to visit soon

This was part of a celebration of life,requiem Mass in one place,burial in another, get together here. A sad occasion but good to see family that we rarely meet.

Only dropped in for free soup and rolls during a cycling event but the location is excellent and the staff very nice. Really easy to get to fantastic walks and cycling out the door and Ashburton and the A38 are close by. Pretty hotel.

My first visit to this lovely, quaint, cosy hotel. The staff are amazing and very attentive. Nothing is too much for them to do for you. The rooms are lovely and clean and have tea and coffee and biscuits. Beds are comfortable En suite is a good size and again very clean. Breakfast menu is just right. I recommend this place for any celebration.

Although out in the country it was surprisingly close to the main road and access to many places. The hotel itself was comfortable and welcoming. Family run which gave it a cosy feeling and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and the bed very comfortable. Recommended.

Well what can one say about lavender house, This place is a hidden gem, We have been coming here for over a year now on and off prior to our wedding weekend, The food is fantastic and full of flavours (thank you Andrew top chef) The host (Keith) and hostess (Carol) I'd say are more family members now as adopted aunt and uncle 😁 these two have done such a grand job of everything you go there expecting to be just another wedding on there books but believe me that is far from how you feel, This is a family ran buisness and it holds that feeling of confidence and comfort for all. All of our guests that attended commented on how good the food and the venue was. We will be back and pestering you guys for food, laughs and giggles Much love Sharon&Paul 🧡

Got a flat tyre right outside. Keith came out and helped us, recommended a local tyre repair company and welcomed us to warm up inside and meet their puppy.
