The best restaurants in South West

We were coming back from holiday in Cornwall. We stopped off for lunch. The food was very nice and the staff were very attentive five stars from us. Abd dog friendly which was a bonus

One word FAB! Food was absolutely delicious so fresh and beautifully presented. Staff were amazing so friendly! We will definitely be back.

Received our order to be very disappointed. Ordered two mint madness. Both come and was of them were full of flakey ice. Tasted awful. Rang them up to be told that's what we ordered. OK so we ordered freezer burnt ice cream that looks and tasted awful. Won't be ordering again that's for sure

Such lovely service and food. They were very accommodating for my 2 rather picky children. Highly recommend the pizza and tiramisu.

Poor customer service. Despite a table being free we were sent away to come back 20 mins later, table still free but as others had become available we were able to sit down. Then chatting at the end of the meal staff became pushy and put pressure on us to leave even though the restaurant was still open! Staff became unpleasant. Food good and portion sizes ok.

We were in Bridgwater for the carnival back in November and I booked a table here, pre procession / early dinner, purely based on the good TA reviews. To say we were underwhelmed doesn't even cut it. Yes, obviously it was crazy busy, the restaurant was full to bursting, tables crammed next to each other resulting in servers hardly being able to squeeze between, we could also hear every conversation happening nearby. If the food had been good I would have put that down to the place having a cosy and buzzy atmosphere. But it wasn't. My vegetable kebab was so bland, the halloumi had no grilled edges (no squeak either) the oriental sauce wasn't nice and the chips anemic. I can't even remember what my boyfriend ordered just that he didn't eat half of it. Maybe it was the wrong night to visit, or we're just spoilt with the Turkish restaurant we have local to our home. Either way, I'm sorry but we couldn't wait to get out of there. The carnival was however fantastic!

Excellent service and really delicious lunch on a Monday. Went out of their way to make it a lovely experience for my family - was there for dad’s 82nd birthday.

Great fully plant-based menu - appears to be same/similar to Orange in Mousehole. We had loaded fries, sausage/cheese sandwich and cakes for lunch - all very tasty. Nice seating inside and extensive outside seating for when the weather is good. Just a shame it hasn't been open for longer in the summer.

Wow , really impressed. Full of flavor and well spiced. Might just be one of the nicest curries and rice combo I've had. Highly recommend the The Chicken Porotta Roll. Fast delivery and service.

A return visit after a few months away and it’s just as great as before. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere created by Maria and Lorenzo. Highly recommend the pork belly and garlic prawns - but all of the dishes were good and the aioli, which came with the bread divine.

Great hospitality and rooms really nice and have everything you need. People and food also great. Definitely worth booking, would use again if we were in the area. Thanks for making our lives easy for a wedding we had to go to... especially letting my son and girlfriend use my room to change in 👍😁
