Went here for the first time for a special occasion in September. The food was fantastic- I had the most amazing dhal, husband had duck which he loved. Good, unobtrusive service and a pleasant environment.

We came in for the bottomless brunch. It was busy, but the staff were really accommodating and friendly. Food was great as well, Mariana was amazing and took great care of us! Will definitely be back again!

Visiting on holiday, we popped in on Friday evening to check the pub out. It was very busy and on chatting to some locals about the food, we decided to book Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed at all, as the food was great and the warm, friendly service was even better. We will visit again, when we're next here. Great proper Cornish pub- good atmosphere great ale and solid pub food

Just called in for a Hot Chocolate and a Pupcup. Dog friendly, and people friendly too! Have eaten here before - nice place.

Dirt cheap and better than anything else central!

This place is utterly superb in every way, the staff are friendly and explain every dish and wine pairing . Great atmosphere, if you do nothing make sure you book Wilson’s , you won’t be disappointed! Stunning!!!

Good, if you're in the mood for ramen. Somewhat expensive for what it is.

Loved the vegan pizza I got from here, 'The Garlicky'. I went on a week night and being not from the area, I didn't realise how small it was inside so couldn't get a table, however we were offered a takeaway which we had. Any pizza can be made vegan.

The Yard has always been a favourite of ours. We have recently had one of the best meals ever. Thanks to all the staff, who are superb.

Continues to exceed expectations. Came for lunch today. Exceptional food across a lunch service. All elements of each dish were executed to perfection. Mature complex dishes that were perfectly paired with the wine flight. Rose bubbles with hollandaise foam = bubbles on bubbles. Service was impeccable, wife had to leave mid service and the staff gladly boxed up her dessert. Excellent value for money for what you are getting. How do you cook the 1kg skate skirt I bought on the way out? 😬
