BEST HOTEL/INN I HAVE EVER STAYED IN... this is well worth the price, the breakfast is delicious and has generous servings, hotel room is clean, airy and well furnished. The staff were lovely (shout out to Mabel the inn dog), very easy process of checking in and out. Can't reccomend enough... We will be back soon 💕

Went for a meal recently we have been several times before. The food is always very tasty. However, I must say we would disappointed at the lack of meat within the pie’s My husband and I both had a different pie he had steak. I had chicken and leek. It won’t stop us going back as we really like the selection of our And as stated before the food is always lovely. I appreciate things are expensive, However, the locally sourced pynes meat Is one of the reasons that we go there.

To clear things up....I gave Service 3 stars as I emailed twice and left 2 phone messages none of which which were acknowledged. Anyway stated one night BB, room was adequate comfy bed and good ensuite. No room at the inn to eat on the night, so went elsewhere locally. To be honest I think they care more about their CAMRA image than clients. One weird thing.....the fire alarm kept going off. Out of bed, dressed and ready to go and nothing! I expected someone from management to let us know what was happening but no. Breakfast was fair 8 tables in a separate part of the pub. Help yourself cereal, juice and toast and ordered breakfast at table, traditional or continental. Hot and good quality a treat to start the day. Would I stay again....YES

Good selection of cask ales and two decent keg beers available. Unfortunately The six draught ciders on offer were low quality pasteurised filtered ones despite the fact that the pub has dozens of top quality cider makers within a ten mile radius! Overall, a good pub well worth a visit. Gets pretty busy at peak times as there are no other decent pubs for miles around

We stumbled across the pub after recently moving nearby and decided to try it out. The car park is across the road from the pub, but there is plenty of parking! Ordered drinks at the bar and table service for food. There was 2 of us, my starter was forgotten about which left my friend eating on her own, managed to speak to a staff member who was very apologetic and within 10 minutes I had mine come out. We seemed to be forgotten about quite a bit however the food was worth the hurdles.

Excellent little hidden gem. We visited for lunch on a Thursday and it was amazing! Proper, good quality homemade pub food, was served by a lovely team of ladies who were polite and friendly. The place was clean and had an incredible selection of drinks. Lots of local beers and ciders and an extensive menu. All 3 of our dishes were stunning and well worth the money. Having recently moved close by we will be visiting a lot more. A couple things to note, it gets very busy (rightly so) so need to book in advance for sure, and service charge wasn’t included for our lunch.

This is a brilliant pub. The food, beer, rooms, and breakfast is all absolutely brilliant. If you are interested, here is the detail. We've stayed here a few times now and each time booked via the pub's website. The first time we stayed was just for convenience, because it is well located and easy to get to, and we we are so glad we did. The food is lovely, last time we had the beef burgers which were brilliant and previously the faggots in gravy, best I've had for a long time. Oh, very importantly, the beer is really good and well kept (with a small discout for CAMRA members). The pub has a really good selection of about eight or nine Real ales on tap, a selection of ciders, largers, a few wines and nice selection of whiskeys as well. Its a proper pub. Also the rooms are in the same building but next door, so adjoining, this means you are not staying directly above the bar but you can go from your room to the bar without needing to go outside (this makes a big difference, espically if its cold or raining). Oh and there is a separate checkin so you don't need to take your suitcases into the bar area when you get there. The rooms are really nice, with decent comfy beds, decent solid wood furniture and the bathrooms are nice as well. Lastly the breakfast is good and sets you up nicely for the rest of the day. You can tell we like the place, and we just need to find an excuse to pop down to that part of the country again. And thank you to everyone who runs Crossways, its nice to find a decent pub.

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice carnival day lunch at the Tudor. Bridgwater, on carnival day, was heaving, but here we found a comfortable, peaceful retreat from the bustle outside. It being a very busy day, we ate from a restricted menu. There was plenty to choose from for a meat eater, but my wife, who suffers from that terrible affliction, vegetarianism. had, as usual, a more limited choise. Fortunately, a very nice fish & chips came to the rescue. (I am not sure what she has got against fish). The staff, from the senior hands to the junior trainees, were a joy - as good as it gets. All were very friendly, happy and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A former native of Bridgwater, I have visited the Tudor many times. It has it all. Premises steeped in history, lovely food, resonable prices and, above all, superb staff. I really cannot reccomend a visir to the Tudor highly enougth.
