The best restaurants in South West

Wow what an experience... Food - we had a mixture of dishes including burnt ends, baby back ribs, burger, squash wellington and the ribeye steak. Our favourite was the sticky pork belly. Delicious!! Service was excellent and informative and when we couldn't agree on ordering the bacon dauphinoise, our server decided to add a complimentary one! Both Gio & Luke make an excellent pair of servers, both friendly and accomodating from start to finish. This was by far the best meal we've had out in a long time. We will definitely be back. First time to have battered hake. It was delicious . The staff are super friendly. I look forward to another portion

Loved the Okalahoma onion boy burger and the millionaire fries where 10/10 👍 the special three counties boy was a bit busy, lots going on, so definitely recommend trying a simpler burger. Smash patties were perfect and moist. Will definitely be returning to sample more burgers from the menu. Thanks boys.

The most outstanding fish restaurant I have been too in a long time! So fresh and delicious. Wonderful and kind staff. The monk fish and the tacos are just incredible as was the wine of the month from scilly. A perfect match

No children are allowed in is very annoying.They are still human beings and it's not like there are pub fights every hour .Turned away at the door.👎👎

Just a nice friendly unpretentious little restaurant. Good family friendly food - and I don't mean just burger and chips- honest proper fresh food. Good beer choice too.

A wonderful pub with great food and staff. Stayed over the road and came on several occasions - delightful every time. The only pub we've ever been to (and we've been to a few!!) to deliver roast potatoes as good as home. Lovely inside - with comfy leather chairs - and out - with a verdant garden and peaceful garden. An absolute gem.

The steak is absolutely unreal the best I’ve ever had the chips are heavenly especially with the garlic butter couldn’t recommend a better restaurant

Second visit this week. Both times the food has been outstanding. Had the fish on bubble and squeak, with curry sauce midweek and roast today. Despite being busy, food and service were perfect. A great team serving lovely food and drinks.

Brilliant Sunday roast. We opted for the 2 people sharing option with the fillet steak which was all very tasty and cooked brilliantly. Plenty of extra gravy if required and were made to feel very welcome from the outset of our visit. Would recommend and will definitely return when back in the area!

OH WHAT A TRAGEDY! THIS WAS A FAVOURITE GO TO RESTAURANT AND WE HAD SPECIAL OCCASIONS HERE TOO. SUPERB FOOD, ATMOSPHERE AND SO ON, AM VERY SAD IT IS NO LONGER. CAN SOMEONE TAKE IT OVER PLEASE AND BRING IT BACK?

Had a lovely mothers day roast in the garden. Hadn't booked was a last minute decision so was very happy to get a table. Roast was plentiful, meat delicious and everything perfectly cooked.

Exhausted after a busy day, popped in to Pennycomequick after trawling the tourist restaurants through the whole length of Falmouth. A large table had just been seated and I was pre- warned that there could be a wait. Half way through my pint - I was notified that they were juggling the kitchen but were putting mine in the mix and it shouldn't be too long! Brilliant - food came, staff were lovely and the fish and chip supper was on the mark. For a pub, the atmosphere was fun and inviting and I will repeat - the team were wonderful, energetic and caring.
