Big View cafe, went for Lunch to try the Big View burgers which were absolutely delicious. We also had a portion of fries which were lovely and crisp. My husband tried the Kaleb Cider which he enjoyed. An amazing experience, fantastic views, carpark well organised by parking staff, only waited 5 mins for a space. The queue for the very small farm shop was over an hour, so we just went round the back to the cafe for food, it only took about 10-15 mins in the queue then the food was ready 5 mins later.

Burford itself doesn't have the most diverse range of eateries with the exception of the tapas menu here at the Highway Inn. Some really excellent dishes on here - ranging from Mediterranean meats right through to fish, potatoes, pardon peppers and the Spanish omelette (which was devine). The only thing we werent so enamoured with were the pork belly croquetas which, to us at least, tasted like a normal arancini typically found in chain Italian restaurants. It was perfectly edible, but just not at the same quality as the rest of the meal. Wine selection superb and the overall feel of the place, whilst on the dark side, only added to the intimate setting. It was a very pleasant place to dine for the evening. The bill, whilst on the high side, is only really indicative of the fact that you're in the Cotswolds - but in all honesty it was totally worth it.

We had intended going here for a meal during our stay, but after visiting for drink decided it wasn’t a good choice. The menu was extremely limited as they were running down stock as they were shortly closing down as the property had been sold. The property was tired and mismatched and seemed to be frequented by local drinkers. The location near the river could have been a great place and hopefully the new owners have capitalized on this. We would certainly look in again if we were visiting the area just to see how it had changed. There is stiff competition in the area with other fine eateries and pubs

Lovely country village pub restaurant, serving really good quality food, ample portions and friendly staff. Sunday lunch menu was varied, offering a good choice for both adults and children alike. The mains were all very good (lamb, pork belly, vegetarian option & child's fish/chips), with plenty of vegetables and an enormous yorkshire pudding. Desserts were also very appetising, and again of good portion size. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent lunch- we were there with a large group of friends so had to wait while food was cooked, but well worth the wait as everyone enjoyed what they chose. There were at least 3 main courses that were gluten free and my coeliac husband was delighted to see gluten free crumble on the desert menu ( so easy to do with gluten free flour but most places can’t be bothered!) Only downside was toilets are not disabled friendly in spite of there being plenty of room for grab rails!

While on holidays in the Cotswolds, we stopped in at Nash’s for a coffee and some pastries. Little did we know it was one of the highlights of our vacations. Pastries are great but the ladies behind the counter were the best of the bakery. Very nice and very very sweet, making our visit unforgettable. A big cheer to them. Will definitely recommend a visit for a tea / coffee and a slice of cake, and by the way, the bread is delicious as well.

Went to Sandy's last night. Big doors to outside seating area were wide open but we were told not to go in that way but to go round to the small front door by some bloke who didn't even introduce himself. Who wants a welcome like that? We left and won't go back. Only a few people there not surprisingly. It's a pretentious and overpriced "piano" bar.
