Reminded me of bakeries from my childhood! Most welcome pit stop during a day of touring the Cotswolds with a visitor from South Africa. We introduced her to Lardy cake, Cream filled apple turnover and Chelsea buns. All very tasty. As we were discussing our plans, the lady at the adjoining table suggested we take a visit to the Rollright Stones. She explained she was a trustee of the organisation who maintains them and after a morning grass cutting, she should go. We did.....see separate review. There are no customer toilets at the bakery, but exit the back of the shop, go into the Coop, up the escalator and there is a toilet there.

Pizza 🍕 pie are lovely and the Lardy cake are fantastic. Only problem Lardy cake price.

Would not recommend, ordered an ice bun and a gingerbread man, lady said total was £2.20 but charged me £12.20. They weren’t even fresh! I had no signal so didn’t see until I’d returned home that she’s over charged me. The lady was also miserable, not a good experience.

Nice little place with tons of food choices from big brunch to smaller snacks. Such a happy welcome as we walked in & the whole time we were there buying some food. The choice was very good, cakes for everybody & a decent mixture of warm food too. We both bought a sausage roll each which was reasonably priced for the area. We both agreed though that the roll itself was a bit too flaky... tasty nonetheless. Good place to visit if you want a snack whilst you're in town & a nice happy chat with the ladies working there :)

Food is amazing! 🧁 Cakes are to die for! Kids love the mr blobby...as we did decades before. Staff morale needs some work.. no one wants to be there. 🙁

Customer service is horrendous, staff are a bunch of moody Karen’s and are as much help as a chocolate tea pot. Wouldn’t hurt to say hello to your customers and have a smile on your face.

Biscuit was nice but kind of overpriced at £2.20. Staff definitely need some training on customer service. Very rude, cold, wouldn't return.

Staff are always polite and friendly. The bread and cakes are second to none. Lovely pork rolls too. Only fault I feel is sometimes they are a little overfilled.

Staff were very rude. Please note that dogs are not allowed in, even to pick up takeaways - though there are no signs to say this. The whole situation was handled very badly with no reply to friendly email suggesting putting signs up. Would highly recommend going to Mor around the corner though!

A quaint friendly bakery with a fair amount of seating inside. All manner of freshly baked goods from cakes and pasties to pies and pizza. Reasonably priced.

Overpriced and rude. £17 for four pasties that had sat there all day and was beyond edible.

Beautiful buns, cakes, loaves and pastries. We'll worth the drive from Oxford to Chippy.

Good collection of freshly made cakes with friendly staff providing as good service. Felt a bit cramped on a cold and early Saturday morning although not yet fully busy.

I took my friend for tea and cake to start our afternoon/evening out for her 60th Birthday. We were celebrating by going to dinner and the Theatre. Whenever I am in Chipping Norton I buy Cakes from Nash’s to take home. There is always a wonderful selection of Bread/Cakes and Biscuits. The Staff need some training in Customer service skills!. They were grumpy and unwelcoming. We had to ask for a Table to be cleared so that we could sit down. Although one member of staff had the courtesy to ask if we minded them clearing a large Table next to us the other didn’t. They banged and clattered everything away and then removed crockery from our Table as we took our last mouthful saying they had to put the Dishwasher on. Ten minutes later at 4:15pm we were asked to leave as they needed to Hoover! There are some lovely Tea Shops in Chipping Norton, we obviously chose the wrong one, it won’t happen again!.

Popped in here on our way through the town as visited before.Great selection to choose from.The Lardy cakes are Moresome.The staff are polite and answer any questions you may have. Would definitely visit again.

Great little 'traditional' bakery. Prices are alittle higher than Greg's (for example) but the quality is so much better too. Accepts cash and card (and contactless). Hot and cold food, drinks, sandwiches, even roasted pork shoulder joint! Eat inside or takeaway. There is two entrances (currently due to Covid one is entrance only, the other exit only). There is a small step to enter but the other door (currently the exit) is flat. Wide enough for a wheelchair to get through easily. *Personal recommendation, try the Chelsea buns, they're awesome!

Had two lovely looking jam doughnut but they had no Jam in them very disappointing. Tried to get some sandwiches but didn't have meny left & they wouldn't make us one so we had to have one between us, which was nice but it would have been nice to have one each especially as they had lots of fresh bread in the shop & seemed to have the staff to make them.

A real old school bakery serving a wide range of goods, and tea and coffee. Some reviewers say the staff are rude and unfriendly, but I disagree. They may not fawn over you but they are polite and get the job done. A fair number of tables inside and outside to eat at.

Most excellent establishment. Great coffee and cake. Water and a couple of sausages for the dogs Highly recommended.

Visited here yesterday for cream jam Belgian bun and tea absolutely delicious. Bought away with us Eccles cake for today and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Full of moist currants and the flakiest pastry. Thank you.

Wonderful to find a 'traditional' bakery - selling all the sorts of cakes I remember from my childhood. Their almond macaroons are to die for!

Lovely fresh sweet or savoury pastries. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. Had a lovely brew and a steak and kidney pie which was full to the brim. the missus had lardy cake...cracking. Outdoor seating in the mall so that makes things all weather and dog friendly.

Very slow service. Only warm food despite asking them to heat it up. Warm tea and coffee. The card machine was so slow our food was getting even colder! No atmosphere whatsoever. Would not recommend or return.

Dairy free - no chance Went in to try to get a drink and something to eat and found the lady serving unfriendly. When asked if they did oat milk she just shook her head and then when asked about soya just said no, do you want anything else whilst looking at me in a way that made me feel like I was an issue. Suffice to say that I didn't have anything and won't go back despite regularly buying cakes for my children in the past

Just brought two different cakes both tasted stale , one had to be binned due to it being a lardy cake and couldn't bite into it .

Went in to this establishment while away with work. Went in for a pork roll with apple sauce & the assistant was extremely rude & said there not ready till 7am. When I later checked the time ,it had already surpassed that time frame. Needless to say ,very disapointing. Would not recommend this eatery.

The staff are so rude and unwelcoming. It’s cold in there and no toilet facilities. Foods not the best either sausage rolls very greasy and cakes not nice. Overall not a good experience. I went about two Months ago and thought they were just having a bad day. But the staff were as equally rude today and very ignorant as they were the first time i went. Shall not be visiting again !!

Most delicious bacon and sausage bap I have ever had. Wanted to take a picture but I couldn't stop eating it. Really nice staff and a relaxed spacious eating area.

Good for a sandwich. I haven't eaten inside the premises, just got sandwiches to go. I've purchased two loaves of bread there, neither of which was to my taste - far too salty. It's popular enough & is conveniently located for a quick bite.

Don't get the bad reviews, this is probably one of the best around , love the chicken balti pies - love em!

Good selection of cakes but werent the best tasting. Cream tasted old and cake was dry. Latte was to frothy for a latte. 1/4 of froth but was a nice coffee.
