Our family live in various parts of the country and arranged to meet here at the Berwick Tea Rooms in memory of our late Mum. We weren't disappointed, we had the most delicious afternoon tea. The lovely Georgie made us very welcome and catered for all the family dietary requirements. We also had the canine division of the family with us -lovely Luna and adorable Diesel both were well behaved and were also catered for. The food was delicious. I can't select one particular favourite as everything was brilliant. Thankyou for such a delicious spread x

As a food truck it was a great idea. Offering different food options than the pub, the pizza team are so much fun and chatted to us while we waited for them to prepare our pizza right in front of us. And it was so full of flavours, a good dose of garlic in the sauce. Highly recommend as the are also operating at different venues in the area.

We had such a lovely lunch at Poco yesterday...We had the pleasure of trying quite few dishes and all of them were great..stracciatella with mint and fava beans, the Raviolo with crab and the Santiago cake were our favourites..we cannot wait to be back to trying other delicious dishes and their amazing wines

The food is delicious, the serving staff are brilliant - the only bad part is you could be anywhere - the restaurant has no view whatsoever of the surrounding beauty and winery - and the only glass door looks out to the car park. Iād recommend just going to the tasting rooms which have a beautiful view.

Went there today for afternoon tea, I do not like fruit scones they gave me 2 plain my friend had one of each. Food was fantastic, we loved it everything was really good produce was top class. Staff were very helpful, Waiter was very attentive couldn't do enough for us. Crockery was very clean, not cracked (as it has been in some places we have.been too) Strongly recommend you to give it a go especially if you like afternoon tea

I drove through the pretty village of Alfriston on my way to a work appt and decided to come back for a late lunch. I was warmly welcomed and chose a table. I ordered the homemade potato and leek soup which was delicious and opted to have bread with mine. Also had a pot of tea. I see some reviews mention cost - I disagree. My meal was piping hot, very filling and home made. Very happy with the price I paid! Afterwards I had a wander round the village- really enjoyed it! See you next time x

After a walk from Berwick station we pop in on a Saturday just in time (well a bit late actually but they accommodated us with a smile) to catch a coffee and cake. Pity they close at 1pm on a Saturday. The staff were very friendly and the place looks and feels great. The coffee and cakes were excellent!

Huge place but somewhat neglected. Apparently for sale. Room pleasant quiet, good view. Bed comfortable. All appliances worked. Good breakfast with a wide variety of choice. Dinners variable. Staff extremely helpful & obliging.

The woman welcomed us immediately and took care of us from start to finish. Food was great scotch egg masala. A must. Plus the bok chicken is super flavoursome. The woman recommended their house white - a delicate white good choice. Decor and vibe is top notch - we will be back thank you š

Spectacular setting floor to ceiling windows overlooking acres of vineyardsJust outside the medieval charming town of Alfriston it is a long drive to Tasting Room - the kind of entry one is used to in the great vineyard restaurants of Adelaide Hills Margaret River in Australia and Franschoek and Stellenbosch in South AfricaWe did feel we were transported to these countries but such good news for UK as there is little in the way of this in Bordeaux To cap it off the food was eclectic and creative - the gazpacho was topped with iberico ham and floating chorizo croquettes - an acknowledgement to this real Spanish dish. The courgette floor as a main was interesting stuffed with buffalo cheese and other accompaniments such a violet artichoke. The three course menu at Ā£37 good value As there are a limited number of tables it is necessary to book well in advance We will nee backThe chef gained Michelin star at his previous restaurant so he comes here with a reputationTo cap it off the sparkling wines are exceptional - elegant and lingering taste
