Very expensive. Nice park, if you go just for the animals and not the children's stuff, then be advised it takes only just over an hour to walk around. At a push two hours to do two rounds.

Came here with my husband and 2.5 year old. The park is perfect for younger kids - it’s a whole mini theme park and zoo at a reasonable price. We arrived at midday so there was no queue at all, by 4pm the park has quietened down (not that it ever felt too crowded or busy) and we took advice on the website to do the theme park first and then the zoo for the best experience and to avoid crowds which is what we did and it worked out perfectly. We walked around much of the zoo area on our own! Would definitely come back here! Very impressed

It's hugely expensive and, if you've seen the animals before, then it's poor value for money unless you're animal mad. I'd like to take my grandson but it'll cost me £75 to get in, plus extra for food etc. They charge the adult price for children aged two and over. That's just not acceptable.

Waste of money! I took the little girl I nurse for (she's in a wheelchair with complex needs). I was beyond disappointed for the animals mainly. They charge each person, adult and child £40 entry and the animals have enclosures smaller than my small bathroom. The only animal I thought had a decent home was the mice and that's because of their size. Honestly.....when you're charging THAT much money for entry, in today's age.....I could have closed my eyes and been in a zoo in Asia.....it would have made sense. I'm embarrassed that this zoo was in the UK and that with the knowledge we have today, it should be better. Play stuff for kids is nice.....basically.....humans are the priority here, not animals. They should probably relocate the animals to a nicer place and just make it a much bigger play area for kids....it would be far better that way! I will never visit again or advise anyone else to. Drusillas....please help your animals!

I've not been to Drusillas for over 8 years, it's always been a brill day out. They have a great variety of animals to see and can tell so much care has gone into the enclosures. Although have to say the Otter enclosure didn't look very enriching for them with just one small muddy pool. And the otter we saw didn't seem well at all (perhaps not due to the enclosure, but was sad to see an otter so stationary n coughing). We did let park staff know to check on the otter before we left.

We live locally in Brighton (about a 20 minute drive) and this visit our first (and now will be last) visit. I pre-booked and paid for two tickets and then a carers ticket for me as my son has SEND needs and has been given a Compass Card from AMAZE who support disabled children on behalf of Brighton Council. They have also provided me with a Carers Card. Upon arrival at the counter I was told my sons Compass card and my Carers card were not sufficient proof for a carers entry. I spoke with a supervisor/manager who also said the same. I argued that these cards for my SEND child and myself were provided by Brighton council but was met with the answer of "How do we know the Carers card and SEND Compass card are connected?" - THIS IS APPALLING and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Have a child with a disability is difficult enough without then being questioned and frankly told that his disability isn't sufficient enough to warrant a free carers entry. SHAME ON YOU! This is a 1 start experience. Completely not how to treat customers. The park itself was good. We spent four hours there. My son enjoyed himself on the rides and the splash zone. Overall everything was slightly overpriced from the ticket price to the food. You could not pay me to go back and i'll be sharing this experience on all social platforms and review sites.

We came to Drusillas for an experience day and really, really enjoyed it. We got to help make the feed for the capybaras/beavers and go and feed them and give them a good cuddle. The staff throughout the day were extremely helpful and friendly. The experience was one of the best I've ever done and I definitely have a new favourite animal now in the sweet beavers! The range of animals at Drusillas is fantastic and they are so so interactive for the kids. There are activity booklets dotted around free for the kids to use and a huge playground that looked awesome. There are plenty of food areas to choose from, a free arcade, a cute little train, a maze.. I can't list all the reasons you should bring kids here. We will be back for the Anteater experience!

Was taken on a surprise birthday trip with friends with an animal encounter with the two Anteaters. Thoroughly enjoyed my day out, the animals were obviously well cared for and you could see active effort taken in improving enclosures which was lovely to see. There are parts of the park which seems dated but ultimately you get to laugh at and enjoy anyway (the singing chickens and Dracula was a highlight) Parts of the park seem quite cramped but weren't day ruining at all but something to consider if you enjoy larger spaces to walk around. The animal encounter was fantastic, the keeper was informative and I got to see behind the scenes and have a generally nice chat with a professional and safely feed and interact with the animals in a way that they obviously enjoyed. All staff (keepers, admin and hospitality) were helpful, informative and friendly. Down a star because a small handful of enclosures were not necessarily ideal space wise or design wise and at times the park is very loud with animatronics and other stuff. However, it is clear that enclosures are being updated in areas. The capybara enclosure was beautiful to see.

Nice time at the park. I thought it was very expensive for young familes but I’m sure they have high running costs. My only comment that was negative is that for older or disabled people there are not enough seating enroute. They need benches for people to take a rest break on the way around. Or sit while family are in the exhibits. I struggled with out a place to rest a few minutes. There are plenty of spaces for some much needed seating. A nice day out.

Plenty to do, the splash pad was super busy and it created some arguments, there doesn't seem to be anywhere close to get changed, so you have to go over to the toilets, fishers farm have little shed things to change in, which is handy when assisting a less able disabled child. Love all the little rides dotted around are free to use, I think we got our monies worth for them alone. Food is decent the jacket potatoes and the wedges are amazing some items are over priced like the sausage rolls and pasties, but my only issue is the drinks as they have the lunch box options which include a carton of juice with sandwiches, fruit and snack and that is £6/7 I think the cartons are £2 which is shocking but next to them they are selling mini fizzy pop bottles which are cola and bubblegum for 50p..... I think that needs to be look into a fizzy drink is cheaper than a carton of juice not best for kids.

We had a really enjoyable day at Drusillas Park! We weren't sure if the ticket price would be worth it, however we spent 6 hours there and could have definitely stayed longer had the kids not got tired. The park is really well laid out. The animals are cute and plentiful and there are activities to do while seeing them, the rides are prefect for young kids (a little scary/exciting and totally safe), plenty indoor and outdoor play areas. If we stayed in the local area we would definitely get an annual membership, but it's a fun filled day trip. Highly recommended for families with young children!

We went to visit today. a family of 4 and the grandparents. So all together, 4 adults 2 children. Is was £37.00 each. So a family day out was going to be over £200. We turn around a left. We understand the costs of things have risen and that they do good work with the animals. But this is ALOT for one family day out.

The park is very well thought out and has a lot to do. First you follow the route through the zoo to see the animals, who are well cared for. There are a lot to see, allow 1 to 2 hours for this Then you arrive at the playground, cafe and soft play area. There is a covered area for packed lunches. Indoor soft play has a cafe. It's clean and very good, the outdoor play area is also great, and within sight of the food seating areas. You've then got the mini train, arcade and fairground rides at the end. Overall we managed to spend four hours in the park when it was tipping it down with rain, it was still excellent. You pay only for food you buy and the park entrance ticket, which is a really sensible approach - all rides are free. If you buy in advance you get a discounted price of approx £30 per head. Under 2yo go free.

Drusillas is a beautifully laid out zoo. Monkeys, meerkats, penguins, lynx and sloths are but a few of the residents. The Sloth experience is worth every penny. A private tour through the kitchen to prep veg then into the sloth enclosure via the zookeepers entrance. Megan our guide was fabulous from start to finish. Interesting, engaging and very knowledgeable, she was keen to ensure we had a great time. Highly recommend a trip here (especially during term time as it was very peaceful)
