Pizza Leonati At The Yew Tree Inn in Wealden

Lunch with the pilates group. Fantastic food, amazing service, brilliant atmosphere.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service absolutely brilliant. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after and the staff clearly have passion for what they do and the food they serve. There’s an incredible wine selection, local ingredients, a lovely atmosphere and it’s even dog friendly. I’ve already recommended it to family and I would love to go back.

Pleasant staff and lovely restaurant but the food was particularly bad. The pizza was bad. Listed as a stone baked pizza but it was cooked in a pan. The base was soggy as there was way too much cheese. Didn’t taste of anything. It was worth a refund. Steak - advertised a fillet, didn’t get a fillet. Fries were advertised but low quality chips were served. Lasagne was over cooked and greasy. I can confidently say that this restaurant have no idea what they are doing.

Finally a proper Italian restaurant in the area. As my wife is Italian we went for our 7 year anniversary and even she approved! Atmosphere was great and so was the food! Kind staff members too.

A fantastic place to eat . Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Very good value for money. Helpful and nothing is too much trouble
