The best restaurants in Vale of White Horse South East

Delicious, fresh, good choice and reasonably priced. Helpful to have this within Tesco too. Will return. Good service from staff too.

We popped into Greggs in Wantage for a bacon bap and coffee, after shopping. The service is fast and very efficient and friendly.. the coffee is excellent and the bacon bap delicious absolutely fantastic value for money. We sat at a table as it was a bit cold outside. Really clean tables. It is very popular and there were lots of people queuing but they were served very fast. The hot food stands were full of hot food freshly cooked. Absolutely brilliant! We will be joining the queue again very soon!

Wow what can I say- such a wonderful weekend. A real treat to be able to spend the weekend in such a beautiful part of the world with a fantastic host. Amazing food- particularly the porridge at breakfast and they even stock lactose free milk! The apples from the tree in the garden were delicious. The host Kathryn made me feel right at home, providing me with slippers and a hot water bottle. What more could you want?! I thoroughly enjoyed the walks nearby and the amazing train links from the local station really do make life easier. I can’t wait to stay again. It’s the gateway to the Cotswolds!

10/10 The best dominoes I have been to. Staff are quick and answer any questions put to them. I've had hiccups in the past and they are INSTANTLY rectified by the (I think) manager. Honestly I've ordered from them almost every week since they opened.

Camarero amable, buena música, convenientemente cerca del Premier Inn donde nos alojamos. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Mezcla de cocina india, nepalesa y china. Difícil saber cuál recomendar ya que nos gustó todo! No tuve que esperar mucho por comida. Sin duda volvería si viviéramos más cerca de aquí.

A really very high quality experience. The owners have ensured that everything needed is available, and that there is plenty of space for different groups to use different rooms. All rooms are ensuite, and extra loos on ground and first floor. After the restoration, the place has been wonderfully furnished. Breakfasts were provided and were lovely.

It was all good sushi, and it was tasty.

Fantastic service by very friendly staff. Food is amazing and the environment very cosy and welcoming. Check out the bookshop which has recently won an award for Best Bookshop 2023!

Nice place and atmosphere. We ate some Pizzas and we drank some drinks. The pizza service should be available at least until 10 pm.

Great Thai food in a really lovely old pub with a beautiful garden - it’s the village green of this quiet and unspoilt hamlet. Indoors is cosy with a very welcoming fire. Highly recommended.

Amazing how such a tight team turned the rooms around for each part of a wedding that I went to recently. The place is beautiful. Fantastic staff, good food and good booze selection. A wonderful place for intimate weddings.
