Tap Social Movement in Vale of White Horse

A night of loving niceness happened at the Tap Social this weekend. Everyone had a fabulous time dancing to the vinyl selection of SkyLarkin hosting Reggae Redemption. The staff really are a lovely, friendly and positive team of servers who always contribute to making Tap a great place to visit, meet friends, make new ones and have the best time. One of my favourite places to go out in Oxford! Had a lovely evening celebrating a friend's birthday.

Lord of fun. The staff is accommodating and cheerful and the food very good. There were 14 of us and everything was delicious. The second round of bloody Marys was surprisingly... sweet (?!?), but it did not matter much by then

Arrived for a few drinks but was told it was a private function despite it not having been advertised as such on the Tap Social website

Great taproom, good beers, great vibe, really great purpose

Tap Social is one of the best venues in Oxford by miles. Staff is always lovely and very friendly + relaxed and chilled. Drinks are great if you're into drinking and their events are always top class. Can't recommend them enough so just go and see for yourself.

Saw Hugh Turner with his heavy funk quartet on 15th May. Great music, lovely atmosphere, really enjoyable evening. Friendly bar staff, great.

Deadleg comedy on Monday night is definitely the most unique and memorable night I’ve been to in a very long time. Band, original and very funny comedy. Very welcoming night!

Came here for St Patrick’s day Ceilidh and had an amazing night. Great venue, plenty of room to dance and a great pool table with board games upstairs. Looking forward to coming back!

My favourite place to go have a drink and socialise in Oxford! Great pizza, great beers, and lovely people! Plus the events that take place in Tap Social are always nice!

Honestly have visited many times because I live in Botley and there's not much else there. The music is always far too loud, you have to shout even far from the speakers, and the own-brand beer is uncomfortably heavy. I appreciate what they're doing but it always leads to a disappointing night out. Love the artwork tho.

Just had the best Monday night at the comedy here. Funny and musical and lovely.

It was pretty quiet but the staff come out for a dance when they knock off. It's just really cool anyway.

Love this venue great space for the amigos to play there vinyl's and for people to dance the night away . Had a great time playing my vinyl's DJ Dee was in the building . 9/12/2023 Great bar with lots of different beers to try if that's your thing . Also outside the front door are freshly made 🍕. X

We had my birthday party there. The venue was perfect, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the beer and food was excellent. We had a brilliant time and I’m so glad we chose Tap Social as the location

My number 1 favourite place in the whole of Oxford by a long way. Incredible beer, excellent prices, authentic quirk and most importantly smiling staff that are a pleasure to be around. They hold events of every shape and size from Wrestling to Morris Men. It's a great hang out spot that's somehow cosy yet has loads of space. Don't get me wrong, it can get a bit chilly in the winter, and the parking is a little hazy, but you'll soon forget that. This place may be single handily bringing the community back to Oxford. So stop paying for overpriced pints in pubs that all look the same and have nothing on. Go experience a friendly little slice of home.

Wonderful tap room for the brewery. I didn't have food on this occasion but the pizzas looked delicious.

Tap Social's False Economy has to be one of the best UK-brewed lagers. Period. I cannot recommend Tap Social more. Excellent customer service, excellent beverages.

Monday Dead Leg Comedy nights are a great mix of established and open mic comedians, with a core 4 comedians who host the night and also act as the house band, its been great to see them develop a cool repetoir of tunes (60s/70s/alt/rock/punk/metal/allsorts). A real cosy night with the added bonus of great beers, ace cocktails and fresh cooked pizza.

I was there for a company event: great atmosphere and drinks. I'd recommend it!

Great venue. Good atmosphere and fantastic events. When it's busy, the pizzas they serve can take a long time to arrive, however they're freshly baked in a pizza oven and taste great when they do arrive.

Went here for a gig (as part of the band) - really friendly and helpful team, great beer and pizzas. Location is really odd - as someone unfamiliar with the area, I wouldn't expect a venue at the back of a village industrial estate next to the A34 to even exist. Let alone be an excellent destination! But it is superb and well worth the trip.

We love the Tap Social, visiting DJs, pop up food.

Great atmosphere, often live music is playing. Unfortunately I really don't like the cider they have on tap, which is a shame, but their other drinks are good.

Bit out of the way but we did a great baby friendly pub quiz here. Also lots of other good other events going on. A good selection of nice beers and pizza cooked on site. A really nice venue!

Great beer. Obviously the location is on an industrial estate, but once you accept that it is quite quirky and still very welcoming.

Strange experience. I went to a comedy night there. Paid to watch an American jew come to a Christian kingdom to attack the Christian religion. Quite strange considering the millions of Christians who died in the war fighting the nazis which were killing Jews. I have started writing my own stand up comedy routine mocking Judaism using historical facts regarding their religious origins going all the way through to when the people of Egypt rose up and kicked the hyksos out of Egypt which is when the hyksos then went on to become the Israelites, and finishing with punchline that even though they have their own religious state now bought for them by rothschild, they still insist on subverting Christian nations. In all good comedy clubs soon. That aside, venue was alright. They sell pizza. Bar staff were good.

A great band, really pleasant staff, fantastic beer brewed on site. In a small industrial estate there is a transgressive atmosphere.

We attended on Monday as part of the Oxford Comedy Festival, it was brilliant! All staff are extremely friendly and happy to provide advice with the on-site brewed drinks. One of our favourite spots in Oxford to visit.

We only stopped in for drinks so can't comment on food. Super-friendly staff. Great music playing. Chilled atmosphere (lunchtime). Drinks went down well with the group, and good no-alc beer/ale options. It's a bit surreal walking through an industrial estate to get there, but WELL WORTH IT!

Good beer, but they server drinks in non re useable plastic cups. It makes the beer taste worse and is very wasteful.

The Tap Social is a great place in the Botley area that is really trying to do something different, and at the same time adding a great option to the entertainment options in the area. The beers available are really good as you would expect from a micro brewery, the space is open and huge and never feels overly crowded even on bust nights. There is also a permanent Pizza option now in the evenings, which is delicious with a proper woood fired oven. There is also plenty of parking in the estate should you need it, though cabs also come here to do pickups and drop offs.

Kind of mixed feelings about the New Year's Eve party but the place is great nevertheless!

Had a great couple of hours snuggled up on a sofa with a cup of tea and a book one Saturday afternoon. Husband says the beer was great! Dog friendly! Really welcoming staff, nice chilled atmosphere. Was slightly chilly on a January afternoon, but would return! Lots going on, great art work all over the walls, some good comfy sofas!

Top notch tap room. Super friendly staff, cosy bar area with big screen for football. Good merch available including a Growler that comes with full refill. 🍺 Oh, and superb range of fresh, craft beer of course!

Great venue and DJ with dance floor, excellent in-house beer, seating on 2 levels, food van, outdoor seating. A hidden gem in Oxford for the discerning beer drinker who likes dancing in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great selection of brewed in house beers of a variety of strengths! Interesting highlight was the 0.5% low alcohol beer which was on tap - great to keep designated drivers involved even if they can’t drink the real thing.
