The best restaurants in Vale of White Horse South East

Visited Bourton Club twice over a short break in the village. The club was very welcoming with great facilities including a pool table, dartboard and juke box. The staff were really friendly and gave us loads of tips on places to visit in the local area. Would fully recommend!

Great spot - excellent food, gifts and coffee! Although there is nothing nearby to compare it with - it is all the better for it, as I don’t want to go anywhere else!

A little gem of a café. In a choice of two dinettes, one can get anything from a cup of tea to a sizeable lunch, from friendly and helpful staff, in clean bright surroundings, with flowers on the tables, at surprisingly modest prices.

Receptionist on the phone is not very nice at all, sort it out. I don't appreciate being hung up on when I'm in the middle of talking, disgusting.

Very out dated and desperately in need of doing up. Not a soul in the pub when we arrived, very sad as it is a village pub. For a top food place the cutlery was dirty on the tables, wall paper peeling on the ceiling and served walkers crisps which was for me the absolute low point! This place is dated, dilapidated and not worth your money

Arrived for dinner. No prior booking. Seated quickly. Dog welcomed with water and treats. Nice menu. Friendly service. Wine expensive. Felt a little cramped in bar area, we were keen to move on

We love the Fox Inn for a great meal in a top quality atmosphere. Highly recommend 👌

We visited The Barns for the first time today for tea, coffee & yummy cakes. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. We will be back, certainly to enjoy their interesting lunch menu.

we highly recommended the vaults for a dine in experience, a casual lunch, a celebration or bottomless brunch with the friends. (takeaway available). impeccable service and delicious fresh food. my partner and i visit regularly since the venue opened a few years ago. i hosted a babyshower last sunday where the team provided us with there outstanding catering service, not only did they deliver the pizzas to us at the time requested, the food was still as fresh as when served in the restaurant and facilitated on a day which the restaurant itself isn’t open ! kevin and his team always go above and beyond to ensure every customer is happy, with years of experience behind them, the attention to detail is second to none. thank you guys ! han and matt.

A ghost restaurant. Appears to be open on Google and confirmed our booking but when we arrived it no longer existed….
