We were a group of five the pork I had and two others was plentiful and tasty. Also the other mains were also good. Some had apple pie and banana cake with a caramel sauce.will be visiting again . highly recommend.

66th Birthday, family of 6, the youngest being 13 months. Food fabulous with huge servings, staff and eating area brilliant (set out as individual hubs/caravans). No problem with having our granddaughter present. We live in Southampton, yet we will return 👍👍

Really bad experience. Food very poor. Wine not chilled enough had to ask for ice still didn’t taste great. Food dreadful steak all fat and sachets of butter put on plate with hot food so all melted. No apology when said about steak and fact got mixed veg even thou never asked for that. Didn’t care. Wont be going back, could be such a great place if standards stepped up and put a bit of thought into things. Paid full bill but will not be recommending. Have been trying pubs in local area as moving there later this year. This one is a never again and others been great.

I like the Fox, and it turns out to be lots bigger than I thought. The "proper" beer is good stuff...no more default Guinness (which is also good) when I visit again

Staff are very welcoming and the service very good. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We took our dog so had to sit at a table between the main restaurant area and the bar. Only problem with that on a cold night is the draft every time someone comes in the door. Not very cosy even next to the fire.

Lovely staff, clean and food was delicious. Our little girl became poorly whilst we were there and spiked a temperature, a member of staff (I sadly didn't catch her name), kept checking we were ok or if we needed anything and opened the cellar for us to take her in to cool down before we left (was a warmer day). Can't recommend here enough, both our visits have been so welcoming.

A little dark in the pub but good food and a nice outside garden with unique wildlife. White doves, kept chickens and several wild peacock's that call the village home.

Food is always very good and the ‘booths’ are a lovely feature for an intimate, cosy setting. Staff remember you from previous visits and make you feel very welcome. Reasonable prices, lovely peacocks that live on site.

Really good menu and beautifully executed. I particularly enjoyed the Squid starter, but the whole meal and atmosphere was lovely. No finer example of a traditional country pub, mixed with a great dining experience.

Had a family meal here. Staff were really friendly and the food was great and large portions. It was quiet when we went, but also looks to have a few locals popping in for a pint or two which is great and adds to the atmosphere. Doesn't have the largest menu, but I'd say it's better for that. Has pods outside as well so you can eat in the outdoors without getting wet in the Great British Weather. Parking is limited, but that's due to its location in a small village.

The 'Inn' was extremely busy and full of HAPPY customers 😊 Emma and her 'girls' were BRILLIANT (and very patient with me and my family 💚) Compliments to the kitchen, Ross, you are INCREDIBLE! All our food was delicious, however the seafood was the BEST we have EVER had! 🌈 THANK YOU🌈 Also thank you to the customer who gave my Granddaughter a Peacock feather 🦚 It made her night!

Early summer evening family visit. Great village atmosphere in the bar where we selected drinks appropriate to the lovely weather. Staff were most attentive and helpfull during our menu selection in the roomy outside dining area. We settled for a main course for starters to be followed by a cool pudding. One steak, two pork loins and one gammon. The meals arrived beautifully prepared and presented. They tasted devine, especially the fresh vegetables and our only problem was we all ate too much. So much so that we all passed on the pudding. A return visit is a must!

Probably the worst food i’ve ever eaten….think that says enough! A shame because it’s a beautiful area that deserves a nice pub! Steer clear!!!!!

We hadn't booked but fortunately were there early enough to be seated in one of the "gipsy caravan" booths. A fabulous set up designed to cope with Covid restrictions. The menu was interesting, a little more unusual than the usual pub favourites. The food was tasty and well presented. By the time we left most of the booths were in use. Would definitely go back again and recommend the place.

I went to tge Fox today as part of a 90th birthday celebration. The staff were courteous, professional and very helpful. The young waitress dealt with with us all exceptionally well especially our 1year old. I've been there before and will be back again!!

We stopped by in the off chance when passing through on a Sunday. They had one little table left so we took it. Food was amazing the staff were friendly. Such a cute pub. We will be returning again in the future and will definitely book.

Had a post-christmas lunch with family at the Fox today. Numbers cut from 8 to 6 and ordering delayed because of bloomin' COVID but no trouble for the smiley, welcoming staff. Food was lovely, COVID safety measures felt commensurate, outside dining pods looked very snug and sweet, but the true strength of The Fox today was its amazing, patient, friendly, LOVELY staff. Phil was the embodiment of the Christmas spirit, the ladies were all super and three generations of us felt thoroughly looked after and spoiled!

Lovely little pub in small village. Exelent service and Exelent food! Sunday carvery was spot on, all three of us had the Roast pork belly served with cheesy leek and brocoli, apple and cider sauce and a shared side of veg. Everything was cooked to perfection and large portions so you are definetly getting great value for your money. We also had Lattes and again they are good quality and creamy. We had a 'Pod' table which I can imagine are even better in the summer when they are outside. Don't be put off during this winter as they have set the pods up in a marquee with heating and it's very pleasant to have your own little bubble! Well decorated and thought out. If you are looking for a nice Sunday meal this is the place. Will definetly be returning. (The pictures do not give the food enough credit!)

Before Covid, we loved this pub, still do but visited this month.....not how we remember it. Garden Covid pods were brilliant, unique and pretty and well thought out. Service good. Didnt have the menu stated on website. Chips were overdone, salad was a bit basic and just didn't have the prettiness and decorative presentation it once had. We had club Sandwich, Scampi and Fishcakes. Was like a posh cafe really. Beautiful venue like most in Oxfordshire but it seems to be another one hit by the aftermath of the Plandemic.

Superb pub, amazing food, super friendly staff. The pods are an amazing addition and the Aunt Sally is great fun. Little play Park in the garden for the kids. Beautiful peacocks and a gorgeous rooster in the garden. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service, adhering to covid rules all the time. Nice relaxing atmosphere and no pressure to finish meals. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had the most amazing family meal at the Fox this afternoon, with 3 fussy kids who cleared their plates was great to see. The pods are stunning and the staff were very attentive. See you again soon.
