Stanford Coffee Shop in Vale of White Horse

A friend and I visited the cafe today and we were so warmly welcomed and as two dairy free individuals were offered a vast range of choices, with staff being really friendly and helpful. The cafe itself is lovely and spacious and the staff were all so lovely. Can’t recommend enough!

We found this lovely Coffee shop a few weeks ago and visited again today. We both had Bacon Baps and a Pot of Tea. We were served by Lily a lovely young girl who was very helpful. All the Staff are friendly and the food is really good. Highly Recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Wonderful recent find located next to Standfords Co-Op shop with parking and outside seating available. Dogs welcome at the outside tables. Great choice of daytime snacks and hot food, reasonably priced and definitely a go to if you’re in the area in need of a cuppa etc. Great staff; both polite and efficient.

A friendly cafe with plenty of tables or chairs to lounge in, a real part of the community. Can get very busy at times especially builders lunch time. Popular with cyclists as well, reasonably parking available.

Great coffee, lovely food, good value and friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Best veggie sausage baguette I’ve had. Will definitely return when next in the area.

What a lovely friendly place in a pretty village! Our first visit today and it’s not just a welcoming coffee shop .. there are homemade cakes, fresh sandwiches, baguettes (hot and cold fillings), soup etc etc .... eat in or takeaway. Really friendly staff, comfortable seating, lots of space, toys and books for small people, and a free paperback book swap for adults. Gifts, cards and original paintings too. This will become a regular coffee destination for us!

First time going to Coffee Shop. It was great. I can in with daughter and grandkids. There is a book swap area, comfortable seating. Friendly service. Great food. Highly recommend dropping in.

Met up with some old friends and ex co workers here today, I guess about 30 of us. The staff treated us really well, and supplied us with an excellent breakfast each. No fuss, they just got on with it. Will definitely visit again. Well done ladies and a big thank you.

Visited here last minute after our hotel restaurant closed due to a water leak. Was spacious, clean, lots to offer including for myself a vegan! I had a vegan cooked breakfast. The ladies were so friendly and attentive too!

I popped in with my friends last Thursday because of the good reviews it has received and the place was really really busy (good sign). Despite the obvious urgency in the staff to complete orders and serve customers, they were doing a brilliant job at taking a little bit of time to make everyone feel welcome. After ordering a few coffees and some sandwiches/paninis, we were asked to wait a minute whilst they cleaned and sanitised a table that had just been vacated for us. Everyone including the staff were following the COVID-19 guidelines and wearing masks where appropriate. The coffees and sandwiches were superb, the staff were nothing but friendly and polite (despite the obvious rush they had on their hands) and I would definitely come here again.

The staff are so welcoming, such a nice local business, quality with of the food and service was really good even though they were busy. 5+ stars
