We visited the pub last week & decided to have a meal. We didn't realise until we went to pay our bill that it was buy one burger get on free on Thursdays. The food was lovely, fresh & hot great value for money. There was a large group in at the same time but we didn't wait too long for our meals. The staff were lovely & very efficient. We will definitely be returning.

Not one to share " pub reviews" but this is a honest boozer. Went for a pint and a quick gamble on the machines. Was a mistake made on cash exchange when I bought a drink and the lady serving fixed straight away. Their gambling machines broke down after a few minutes and would not pay out monies owed. The bar staff again without a hesitation turned off the machine and in trust paid off the remaining balance. For a " pub" in Abingdon I would say 100% customer service, hope they keep doing well!

Best experience in Europe so far! We wandered in after seeing the sign describing the Tapas Lunch Special. Amina greeted us with such wonderful enthusiasm that set the mood for our entire experience. The Tapas were fabulous, we tried the Mushroom Croquettes and fell in love. We also ordered the Marinated Lamb dish that came with potatoes cooked with onions and chorizo... It was delightful. Amina was so happy we enjoyed the meal and suggested a dessert which was an almond cake with ice cream. We enjoyed it with an espresso to complete our wonderful experience. We highly recommend 'Que Pasa' so you too can experience 'what's up' in Abington UK. Thank you Amina for the wonderful time in your townđ

This should have been super duper as the area in the town is sited in a pretty cobbled market square in the old historic town centre. The sun was out and we walked into the cafe with only compliments about the range of pastries and food on display. We ordered two ciabatta with feta and salad filling ( I hadnât got my specs on so couldnât read the ÂŁ) our friends had a vegan roll and a sausage twist. I asked for a âpotâ of decaf tea. The problem arose when I asked for another pot of hot waterâŠ.. the waitress brought me a cup half filled with hot water ?! I thought she had misheard my request âŠ.. as a bug flew straight into it i returned it and asked for a replacement, but a âpotâ with a lid on it ( to keep stray bugs out and the heat in). They said they could only give me a cup of water ?âŠ. I thought they might not have any more tea pots spare. They said no I wasnât allowed another tea pot ! I was only allowed a cup and if I wanted, as suggested a disposable cup with a lid I would be charged 20p extra. The fact that the sandwich ( tasty but by no means huge- was ÂŁ10) and the bill arrived at ÂŁ26 you would have thought a pot of hot water wasnât too much to ask for. Anyhow we wonât return there as the manner by which it was handled ( infront of other patrons was unprofessional) I felt sad for the waitress who looked embarrassed. I happen to think a good service of a pot of tea should be offered with extra hot water I like to take my tea on a certain way - maybe she thought I was going to run away with her pot?! Sad as weâre staying in Abingdon but wonât patronise this cafe again.
