Such a lovely tapas place. Great food and people working there! My husband and I had 7 tapas between the 2 of us - a mix of meat, fish and vegeterian dishes and they all tasted so good. The owner and his family are very friendly. We finished the meal with some churros with an extra little special touch from the owner's daughter which was very, very nice.

The food was incredible, the atmosphere was lovely, we all sat outside and bright sunshine. The staff where really nice and helpful and we pre ordered food so it seems to come out quite quick. I couldn't recommend this place more. THE CAULIFLOWER WINGS ARE INCREDIBLE!!! if you don't like spicy you can either ask for no chillys on top or just take them off like we did. Definitely a must have.

Excellent food served efficiently. The atmosphere was lovely and busy but not overcrowded so we were served quickly and given the little glasses of still house lemonade that is so very tangy and delicious. We enjoyed the meal which was served piping hot and nicely presented. We complimented the chef as well as tipping the waitress who gave us attentive service.

Not one to share " pub reviews" but this is a honest boozer. Went for a pint and a quick gamble on the machines. Was a mistake made on cash exchange when I bought a drink and the lady serving fixed straight away. Their gambling machines broke down after a few minutes and would not pay out monies owed. The bar staff again without a hesitation turned off the machine and in trust paid off the remaining balance. For a " pub" in Abingdon I would say 100% customer service, hope they keep doing well!

Do not order online! They will take your money and never deliver. Ordered online at 6:35, tracker said 35-45 minutes. An hour and 15 came and went, so sign. Phoned the number, it's a fake number. Sent an email, it's a fake email that isn't registered. Went in person and collected it. They hadn't made it and the ticket with the order+ address was hand written and stuck to the counter top. Extremely unimpressed. I live less than 2 miles away. To quote "they disconnected the phone line by accident and you need to email" "your email doesn't work either" "oh, well *shrug*"

I went for dinner with my family, atmosphereâs were nice ,calm and Pleasant. Service was good however food was not upto expectation ,I found the flies on my drink which was changed after I showed them and all my family members got bloated after that meal đ.Definitely not worth it.

This place has truly turned a corner. It was dreadful but now the food is very good. All credit to the team who have done this. I had the starter of fried cauliflower it was superb, i like crunchy veg not all do but i loved it. The main course peri chicken. The chicken was moist the chips lovely. Would wish it was more spicy but it was very nice My friend has the chicken with beans and sausage it looked very tasty i will have that next time. The moral of the story is simple if it is bad review the truth, then they will improve or die, if you dont they will just keep being bad. This place has got it right made the effort and has made it good. 6 stars from me.

If you prefer not to buy your cup of coffee with sugared milk from a branded global business that doesnât pay taxes and pays for its CEO to jet-commute 1,100 miles to work and back, then Java & Co in Abingdon is the place for you. Charming service with a smile, excellent coffee, good pastries, a clean loo and that feeling of being welcomed into the community all make this a relaxing place to sit and watch the world go by. It helps that the view out of the window is a charming piazza-style street scene, and it helps that you know they probably walk to work: pavement footprint rather than the obscene carbon footprint imposed by a single man in his jet in the USA as he sets about proving by means of carbon fuel-powered flight how ludicrous his mission statement is when it witters about âevery cup⊠nurture[s] the limitless possibilities of human connectionâ. Give me the real human touch of an independent coffee shop any time, like Java & Co. Did I mention they're really nice and make great coffee?
