Costa Coffee in Vale of White Horse

Nice cafe in Abingdon. Open before 8:30 which is great for us that start at 8am.so can have a hot drink before work/college.

First visit to this Costa with my friend, but as always, the decor, food, service, and surroundings were excellent.

Very friendly and efficient staff. It was very clean. There is plenty of room available inside and outside to enjoy your drinks.

Bought iced cappuccino yesterday, and the staff was so racist that i requested them to put some sugar since the drink wasn't sweet enough they just added more milk to it and also the cleaniness was so pour that the worker clean the forth straw with such dirty cloth still feeling bad that the staff is not keeping the utensils clean

Good costa, even when it's busy, the line moves fast! Love their loyalty scheme!! Although they changed it for a free drink every 10 drinks, previously it was every 8 drinks. But still a nice bonus, if you're already going to go there, regardless!

The coffee was made well and quickly however one particular member of staff (name unknown) was quite abrupt, sharp and short tempered. He even got frustrated with the elderly woman in the queue after us when she didn’t know how to scan her rewards card. This is not the service I would expect from a customer facing employee. The girl on shift was nice though.

There are so many coffee shops in the square in Abingdon. I counted six almost next door to each other. Seems far better to go to one of the independently run shops rather than a chain like Costa but if you prefer Costa of have a loyalty bonus then worth going. There’s also another Costa just 50 yards down the road towards the river.

Forgot the muffin, won’t answer my calls. Ridiculous

Food was never delivered contrary to the status indicated. I will need a total refund of £21.16 charged on my card and not £18.10 from the complaint I submitted early. This is very wrong. The restaurant should just cancelled the order if drivers are not available. Regards CN

We visited this branch on a day out, and whilst busy, there were still plenty of tables. The staff were typically friendly and helpful and our order was efficiently prepared for us. For me, there was the bonus of a free cake from the company to mark my birthday. The venue was clean and tidy and the toilets clean.

The Costa coffee itself was lovely clean and the staff helpful for disabled people like me . The problem for me was the 8 drunk people sitting under the tree on the square shouting and swearing at parser's by which the police ignored.

Great coffee as usual- special mention to Mina- awesome service with a big smile.

Ordered toast no peanut butter as advertised served with butter told no options toasted on one side only so would not recommend if you like toast toasted

This is the 1st costa in abingdon, there is a 2nd one. Both very nice. This one is in the square. Helpful staff but can get very busy as it's very popular.

I enjoyed my delicious ice cold cappuccino in an air conditioned cafe. There is outdoor seating, but I definitely needed to cool down after my long walk along the river from the boat and mooching in the Monday Market. Lovely traditional town centre atmosphere.

Very run down area not geart if your a visitor to the area. Every city has them but come on council please spend money on the areas where visitors my go You will get more visitors and that's more money for the city and people.

Both my friend and I have disabilities. Staff are so very helpful. Polite and friendly. They certainly go the extra mile to help and support us both. We are regular visitors here. It has level access entrance and disabled facilities. Very comfortable seating arrangements. Higjly recommend this cafe.

Great selection of delicious drinks. Friendly staff and they are quick in getting orders made up. Their black forest hot chocolate is by far the best thing on the menu followed by the caramel crunch frostino 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Ordered a frostino and selected no coffee. Checked receipt and said no coffee but had coffee in it. Called the store and no answer so contacted just eat and refunded but it doesn’t cover delivery. Really disappointed

They ran out of the max and cheese I ordered, so politely called me up and asked what I wanted. Ended up getting a toastie and a muffin instead. Very polite staff, quick delivery, and the food arrived nice and hot.

Funny layout huge costa but the ordering is done right by the door so you end up going outside to queue. Nice ambiance though.

Lovely place for a pitt stop, comfy and well laid out. Friendly staff, nice selection of drinks Shame they didn't refurb the toilet when they did the main area.

The barista was very rude to me when I came in. He very rudely told me where to stand in the coffee shop, so that they can maintain social distancing. It made no sense at all, since I had my mask on, and I could have easily maintainted the social distancing requirement, by going to the back of the queue as well. Do they not care about staff politeness at all anymore?

Fantastic coffee and service even tho we are in a pandemic

No fault of the staff, as there clearly wasn't enough of them whilst we were there, but the one single unisex toilet was a complete state and inside Costa was busy with young families and we didn't feel comfortable enough to sit in as difficult to social distance with people wandering around after young children.

Costa in Abingdon is easy to get to. Parking is not near by but not too far. The outside seating is good and gives a fair place to relax, weather permitting. Inside there are some seats which are distanced.

Bit slow, only 2 staff on on market day.

Great food, felt safe with the covid restrictions. Able to sit inside on new, clean and comfortable chairs and tables. Service was professional and timely with a smile! Beautiful watching the market go by outside. Nice soundtrack in the background too.

Fantastic little place. Conveniently located on the square and plenty of capacity, even with Coronavirus set up. The staff were both quick and helpful. The drinks, as ever, were spot on.

Nice & clean, seats by the window are lovely on a sunny day. However it's quite crowded and the back of the shop is a no-signal zone.

A nice a great place for coffee lovers with great n quick services. Location is perfect in corner giving hall n street view . Apart from great coffee do try these cheese n tomato sandwich. Recommended!!
