Miller & Carter Didcot in Vale of White Horse

I ordered my food at 5.34pm and it didn’t arrive till 7.55pm … my food was cold and not very nice , I paid a lot of money for my food and I would like a full refund as my food was cold!! Look forward to your response! Thanks Tracey

Food was missing from my order and didn’t taste great the dessert were inedible

The staff were amazing very friendly and polite always smiling and very attentive. Service was also quick not waiting to long to order and receive drinks, food etc.. Food was delicious came out pipping hot, full of flavour. I had the ribs which was Scrumptious and my husband had the steak which he really enjoyed. Very modern restaurant great atmosphere. I definitely would visit again.

Lovely, helpful, friendly staff, especially Ellie who looked after us throughout the meal.

Order at 15:45, original EDT was about 16:50, almost an hour with no driver assigned, roughly about 15:50 the driver was at the restaurant, never changed the status since then, at about 16:10 the EDT time changed to an exact number, but the status never changed, Called the restaurant they confirmed it left at about that time. Delivered only at 16:32, so it took 22+ mins at least, whereas the journey is no longer than 10 mins. No idea why it took so long and why the status never properly changed

Was all good slightly behind the EDT but the food was all warm and great

Great dinner in a convenient location and our waitress Drew was super friendly and made sure my food was allergen free which was really appreciated!

Food was lovely and our server Lily was really helpful and attentive. Had a nice evening with family and a good atmosphere.

50 day aged Filet Mignon, lettuce wedge with blue cheese & Stilton delicious. Alovely selection of wine by the glass including Ravenswood. Oasis of calm near Banbury, Didcot Parkway and Abingdon if you have to travel for work. Thank you Katie, I am back again in Jan 2025.

Food (quality and serving) represented good value. Service was outstanding to be honest. It's not the cheapest place but you can trust you won't be left feeling discontented.

Only 2nd visit as 1st was just after it had opened and the experience then wasn't good, however this time the food was excellent and generally so was the service. The service was a little slow but they were busy and we were a large party so with that context we had nothing to complain about. Would heartily recommend.

Absolutely brilliant. Best steak I have ever had. It was a bit pricier than I would normally go for but you pay for what you get and can't wait to go again. 1st class

It’s our first visit to this branch of Millar and Carter and we were not disappointed. First impressions are those of opulence with decor in dark rich colours, comfortable seating with great lighting. Excellent service throughout from Katie and food to the usual high Millar and Carter standard. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Normally, the food at Miller and Carter is excellent. This was our 3rd Christmas Day meal and it was poor quality. Vegetables hard and undercooked.

We had Christmas lunch with our eldest daughter and her husband. Food and service were exceptional. Restaurant was beautiful. So pleased that we decided to spend our first ever Christmas Day meal at a restaurant with Miller and Carter Didcot, thank you Mollie and the rest of the team.

The food, drink and atmosphere were excellent, particularly as it was Christmas Eve. Our server, Lily Ann was superb.

A brilliant steak restaurant on our doorstep! We celebrated my wife's birthday on Christmas Eve. Ellie was amazingly attentive, funny and considerate. One of our group had an obscure allergy and she took the time to make sure each dish was fully checked. During our dining experience Ellie visited regularly to make sure everyone at the table was enjoying their meal and to double check in with our awkward diner ;) The food was all well cooked, quickly served and of high quality, as we have come to expect from this restaurant. We will definitely be back and would be happy to tell others to come too.
