We were served by Maria who was so lovely and super helpful! She provided us with the gluten free dessert menu even after we forgot to ask. Food was lovely and lovely atmosphere.

ASK italian Abingdon is our favourite place for dinners out. The staff are always lovely, the food is always brilliant. All ASK Italians are good, but the Abingdon one is always the best. Also great vegan options 👌

Always lovely staff here and food is 10 out of 10 every time, we have been to a lot of Ask Italians around the country but this one is defiantly our favourite.

ASK Abingdon feels like home. All the staff greets and treats you as family. We love it! And the pizza is great.

Awful, very salty food arrived via Ubereats. The lasagne grande was overcooked so had crispy sides and the pesto garlic bread was undercooked and soggy underneath. How can you charge over £20 plus delivery for this beige salty awfulness?!

Dined in with my family and had a really wonderful experience. And one of the staff member which I think was called Maria was a superstar.

Visited Abingdon branch where a local Dance show was on and although they were super busy the staff were friendly and helpful and rushed to make sure no one was late back.

I think you should promote your gluten free pizza more on socials as that’s the best GF pizza I’ve had in uk

Took my Mum here for her birthday, we were given little shots of homemade lemonade upon arrival. Our waitress Emily was friendly, attentive and helpful. Sorted out candles for my Mum's birthday cake. All the food was cooked well and was delicious. Will definitely go back. Amazing to watch the chefs in action too.

Last minute booking for Sunday lunch, staff were attentive despite a busy Sunday lunch service. Food was very tasty and overall a very enjoyable meal.

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel warmly welcomed and attended to every detail with genuine care. The food was delicious, with authentic Italian flavors that truly impressed, but it was the exceptional hospitality that made the evening unforgettable. Leila and Maria went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time, and I can’t recommend this lovely restaurant enough!

Excellent food served efficiently. The atmosphere was lovely and busy but not overcrowded so we were served quickly and given the little glasses of still house lemonade that is so very tangy and delicious. We enjoyed the meal which was served piping hot and nicely presented. We complimented the chef as well as tipping the waitress who gave us attentive service.

Great place that does not disappoint. Another excellent lunch experience with our 2.5-year-old daughter. Food was excellent, as usual (we've been here a few times already), atmosphere is great for families with children. Great sense of timing too, with children's food arriving before ours, as it should always be. Great staff and cooks.

A regular restaurant of ours for over a decade. The standard of food is so consistent and reliable, we love it. Staff are always lovely. Many of the staff have been here for as long as we have been coming, which is so unusual in this industry.

I received a two for one offer by email. It was a misleading offer, it looks like only some mains were part of the deal. Either that or our waitress only applied one instead of two. Either way it was embarrassing. We won’t go to Ask again.

The atmosphere was amazing and the service was brilliant apart from the missed asking people for drinks and took a while to be served our food. Also took ages to take our order too. Things were missing and things turned up that wasn’t ordered. The food was bland. Nothing exciting. I had calamari that was soggy and tasted like nothing. A had a pasta dish that was boiling hot that tasted like nothing either. It was nice wouldn’t go out my way to visit again. The food took ages to come out!! Over a hour.

The food was absolutely lovely however we did suffer a long wait in ordering the food and a small wait for the the starters and a slightly longer wait for the mains. Also the Atmosphere in the restaurant was Perfect and the staff worked hard considering was busy to suit our needs.

Good food in generous portions served by a friendly and helpful team. The passion fruit and raspberry cheesecake is highly recommended.

Staff were very helpful but very busy. They needed more staff which brought down the level of service. Due to how busy it was a long wait for drinks and food. (Please note the staff were rushing around trying to be as quick as possible)

We absolutely love the Abingdon Ask. Everyone there is incredibly friendly as well as efficient. The food is reliably delicious and the atmosphere always great. Definitely recommend!

The food is very much standard for ASK (i.e., absolutely fine for a casual Italian meal). We particularly like the arancini. Location is lovely, and we always appreciate how friendly and efficient the staff are.

We decided to enjoy a meal out as the weather was glorious. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Alexandra who allowed us to choose a table outside. Alexandra was the perfect waitress for our small family of 4. She was extremely attentive and ensured that we were well supplied at all times. The food was delicious and well cooked. We will definitely be back and will gladly recommend to others.

The pasta that I wanted had run out and I was offered an alternative. This is a fast paced restaurant where the aim seems to be to get through as many diners as possible.

Cannot fault the food. The staff were very friendly without being fake. I only marked the atmosphere down, as there weren't many customers, so it didn't feel as vibrant as it could.

I don't know where to begin. We booked a table for my husband's birthday, with his mum and daughter. The service we received was way above anything I expected, the staff were so helpful and accommodating with a big shout out to Emily who clearly enjoys her job. We all had a wonderful lunch, food was excellent, however it was the special touches from Emily that truly made our visit exceptional! A huge thank you for being so kind and I know we will remember this as a special lunch for some time!

I dined as part of a party of 5 on a very busy Friday evening. Service was very good, efficient and friendly. Replacement was offered to someone where they ran out of an ingredient. All of us were satisfied with dishes, great taste, and good portions, too.

Arrived but booking lost. Immediately found us a table. The usual quality food experience that we have become accustomed to. Never been disappointed.

Lovely building, disappointing food. Schnitzel undercooked, Caesar Salad not drained properly so wet and limp. Kids pizzas ok but all pretty tasteless. Service lacklustre, slow and miserable. Shame because it should be lovely!

We had lunch at this restaurant. I had linguine fruit di mare. It was tasteless. This is my favourite dish. I was really looking forward to it. There was hardly any prawns. The tomato had an odd taste. I had to add salt and pepper to gi e it favourite. It was also very expensive. 2 start and 3 main £90.
