We had a fantastic meal at the Abingdon branch this evening. A spur of the moment last minute booking was secured no problem. The staff (Maria & Emily) were fantastic and incredibly accommodating for our eldest daughters birthday. The food was brilliant and came out really quickly. The staff were readily available, I absolutely can not fault our experience.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good but it had no defined character. Moat of the decor feels like it was taken from a charity shopt bargain bin. Food was good but nothing to write home about. I had the lasagna and it was okay but the ragu was somewhat bland and it felt like it tasted like it was cooked with some sort of alcohol which gave it a jarring aftertaste.

Maria waited our table yesterday at the Abingdon branch and was fantastic in her work, being efficient while jolly in her work

The service from all the staff at Ask Abingdon was absolutely phenomenal.

Just finished our meal at Ask Italian in Abingdon. Our party of five were seated without a reservation after being turned away from another Pizza place that shall remain nameless; so glad we came here. The food was excellent and Wera was very attentive and patient with us, specially considering we had two small kids. We love it here and won’t be making the mistake of considering going anywhere else.

Emily was very attentive, we were served quickly. Food came really fast and everything tasted great. Would recommended!

Just had a lovely lunch with my wife and wanted to shout out the amazing service and food. We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine, great spot with a relaxed vibe. Maria took care of us and she was absolutely brilliant. Super attentive, warm, and made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Molly also did a great job, especially with dessert, both Maria and Molly really stood out with how genuine and thoughtful they were. We had the Antipasti Board for our main, with Cheese Fondue and Honey Luganica Sausages on the side, everything was delicious. Huge credit to Chef Fikki for the beautiful presentation and flavors; you can tell care went into each dish. Finished off with the Caramello Chocolate Torta, which was rich and indulgent, exactly what we were after. Great food, great service, and the kind of experience that makes you want to come back. Thanks again to Maria and Molly for taking care of us!

First time on this location and it was a lovely surprise. Emily was so nice, helpful and kind, even when I didn’t know what to order 🤣🙈

First time trying ASK Italian. First impressions, clean, modern and welcoming. Met at reception desk by very friendly staff and offerd a choice of tables. Drink service was good and quick, orders were taken as soon as we were ready and were served piping hot. Cheese and condiments were offered once the meals were presented. The actual service was unobtrusive but prompt and friendly. Emily was especially nice and engaged well with my granddaughter. The food was very good with a good depth of flavour and serving size was perfect. All in all a very pleasant venue with good food and very good service. There is no service charge added to the bill but an option to add when paying. Well worth the walk from the car park and we will be returning.

Leila was such a lovely waitress I felt so comfortable around her; I normally hate saying what I want to order and get someone else to say for me but I was able to talk to her quite easily compared to other times I have been there. Excellent food and lovely service too!

Absolutely fantastic place! Food is absolutely stunning. Our daughter has a dairy allergy so it can be very scary going to new places. Ask Italian we’re brilliant at giving us alternatives and having an up to date allergy matrix. Molly was a fantastic server she guided us through the menu and also was brilliant with all my questions about alternatives! Absolutely fantastic and quick service.

I stopped by the restaurant recently for lunch, despite the quiet atmosphere, the team didn’t miss a beat. Maria was graceful, attentive, and clearly passionate about providing great service. She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish, always with a warm smile and genuine care. Leila was equally attentive and kind, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well looked after throughout. Mollie stepped in to take my dessert order and continued that same level of care, and ensured my meal ended on a high note. Even though they all knew me personally, they maintained a high level of professionalism while still adding a personal touch. Maria, Leila, and Mollie gave 100%, whether the restaurant is busy or quiet, I can confidently say guests are in excellent hands here. I would also like to add that the chefs did an excellent job on beautifully preparing my meal also adding to my experience.

Had lovely food at the Abingdon ask Italian. large portions, lovely vibes very happy they managed to see us without a booking on a Saturday. my daughter was fed quickly and enjoyed every minute loved the smiley face pizza. Our waitress ( Maria N) was very accommodating and welcoming, very helpful with providing gluten free menu and food and showed grace and patience when my daughter wanted to order her food herself for the first time. Thank you so much Maria N for making our Saturday and making our meal a very enjoyable experience.

I have travelled a few times to Oxford, as recomended by friends, went to visit the Ask Italian in Abingdon. Abingdon is a friendly place to visit and walk around. The restaurant is very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, people working are very polite and make you feel at home. Went for the sea bass al forno and did not disappoint, freshly made, delicious choice accompannied with a glass off white white. If coming back to Abingdon will definitely be a stop here again!

We brought 4 kids to ASK and had an amazing time. The food was great, and the service was quick and lovely. Yanitsa our server was fantastic. She helped and was really patient after we had a large spilled drink, and she made great friends with our 2 year old 😀 We will definitely be back.

We always visit Ask with our children, who absolutely love the food. It’s always delicious, with a great atmosphere and lovely service. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the cocktails they’re amazing!

Ordered almost one hour before I wanted food but still arrived 30 minutes late. Driver went to wrong location as map on JusrEat is wrong.

We walked in today at 02:45 pm at Ask Italian and the lady (with a white shirt on) came and she said that they are not accepting walk-in anymore (even though there were plenty empty spaces.) We returned from there and I tried booking online on phone at 03:00pm and managed to reserve the table on for 03:30pm. When we went again all the way driving back there, the same lady came and let us in the restaurant without saying even a single word. These all seem very weird and caused a huge disappointment. We found it very rude and racist behaviour.

We held a boys birthday party dinner at the Abingdon restaurant and Mollie who organised it all made the whole thing run very smoothly, she was extremely organised and managed the table with 12 boys and 6 adults very well. Food was great. Kids loved the create your own ice cream.

Quality food. Service phenomenonal, squeezed us in even tho WE made a mistake and booked for the wrong day. Irritating people at the table next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault. Could do with a couple more veggie options tho

Good food, good service. I have nothing to complain about. I was greeted with a shot of pink lemonade(not sure if it was indeed pink lemonade) and was showed to my table. I went for stuffed mushrooms to start with. They were good. Not the best but still really good. For my mains I got the lentil pasta. It was delicious. Perfect amount spice, salt and vegetables. I would definitely recommend this place as it is perfect for a chill lunch/dinner.

My partner, and I had a dinner at Ask Italian Abingdon last Saturday. Our waitress- Martina was just great, very funny and a polite person, she made our evening special! I’m allergic to gluten and nuts- she made me aware of all the cross contaminations and she took care of my dish very carefully. I felt very safe with my food. Well done! 👏🏻 Definitely will come back!
