The best restaurants in Thanet South East

The Dal soup and Biryani was EXTREMELY SALTY. Tried adding water to the soup without success. Was soooo disappointed with my food

My friend and I visited this venue today, after booking a table for afternoon tea. Staff very pleasant, and the food was first class. I am a coeliac, so had to have a gluten free version afternoon tea. Which was excellent. Great value

Date by the sea. Really lovely spot within walking distance of the harbour, good Sunday lunch and James is the perfect host.

First visit . The Ribeye steaks were cooked beautifully and the sticky toffee pudding to die for . The host made sure everything was to our liking. Fantastic meal.

Lovely local pub, and on Sunday a polish BBQ a massive baguette as pictured for a tenner...

Joined a friend for a coffee. Was told the price of my coffee was not enough to pay by card and a notice announcing minimum spend by card was pointed out to me. The coffee was not cheap. I do not carry cash but had a five pound note I had managed to get by giving a friend £10.00 for two fives which would be my collection at church on Sunday. I was both embarrassed by this and forced to use it as otherwise my friend would have been forced to pay for me. The owner said she had to pay for card transactions and it was only because or regulars that she kept going. The charge is 2% and many card companies say it is illegal to display this notice and put it into force. As we sat with our coffee we got very cold. A group of people were all wearing their coats. It is quite obvious this cafe is doing it’s best to keep overheads low at the cost to it’s clients. Most unpleasant experience all round and will not return and will warn friends off.

1st time dining in. Food was good. Service was quick. Not a restaurant for a special/romantic meal as tables are alongside the takeaway order point. No frills but no problems.

We went to beach all the way from london last sunday.found this pizza shop on the way. i ordered veg pizza, was Supper tasty. we will definitely come again.

Such a good place to eat the food looked so good and tasted even better the mixture of flavours was so great. The service was also great as we didnt have to wait that long for our food the waiters would come up to us and check on how we are regulary which made the experience even better

Came here for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The coffee was delicious and my omelette was done to perfection. Meal was reasonably priced and I wasn't waiting long at all.

Very large portions of cod great chips and good price can't fault them best value in margate cash only

The ice cream was lovely, and the lady serving was a sweetheart. The salted caramel gelato was top tier!
