Our first time here this evening, Vince the manager was sensational. His hospitality was outstanding. The food was absolutely stunning. Wendy and the other lad in the kitchen sent out some beautiful food to us this evening. We loved every minute of it and will most definitely be returning very soon.

We had a great meal. Food was perfect. Vincent the waiter was playing alternative 80s music which was fun. Really good time.

Fabulous steaks, hosts were amazing, couldnt do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. An absolute gem of a place, will be our go to next time we are staying

Nice atmosphere, the food was good and very reasonably priced. The owner was extremely friendly and the service was excellent. We live in Broadstairs and will be going back.

Just superb. Cracking steak and the burger was cracking. Service was swift, professional and welcoming. In a town surrounded by pasta, pizza and fish and chips, it’s an absolute gem

So after the initial disappointment that none of the food is smoked as the name of the restaurant would suggest, we went on to have a great meal, well cooked and tasty. Good portion sizes, plenty on fries and salad etc. The owner / host was attentive and provided great service, not over bearing but checked everything was ok on several occasions. Prices were reasonable and nice atmosphere. We struck up a conversation about the music being played and discovered we were both fans of the 80's and particularly the Jam and Paul Weller. Would definitely go back!

A bit misleading it being called smokehouse, not a single thing on this menu has seen a lick of smoke, I’m pretty sure it’s not even seen a grill? Ordered ribs which were just boiled and smothered in a low quality bbq sauce, just terrible. Service is friendly enough but doesn’t make up for the low quality food and price.

This restaurant was fantastic, the food and customer focus was amazing. Fresh and locally sourced ingredients, we would highly recommend and will definitely be going back when we visit Broadstairs again.

Popped in on burger Wednesday and had the smokehouse special. If I have a burger it has to be a very good one and this one certainly was! Came with a very tasty side salad and I opted for chunky chips. Very nice friendly owner and cracking sound track!

Was recommended this gem of a restaurant by friends and it did not disappoint! Vince greeted us and was so friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Food was superb both meat and non meat options were wonderful . I had prawns in shells with a side of croquets and it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Broadstairs. The whole experience from start to finish was enjoyable, fun (great music), and food nothing short of excellent. Thank you Vince for a wonderful evening and looking forward to your themed evenings in the New Year!

Lovely relaxed burger place. Does steak and fish and chicken too. Friendly and helpful staff. Food delicious. Will be back to try their Sunday roast in the New Year. 😍

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Roast was amazing and the chicken bites my son had were (in his words) “So good that I don’t even need to watch a screen!”. Vince very welcoming and nothing was too much - even a selfie with my son!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had an amazing meal the chicken was amazing with great flavours and a great sauce to accompany it. And my wife’s sea bass was cooked to perfection. Vince and Wendy were great hosts and we are already trying to work out when we will be going back to try some more of the menu. 5* all the way

Welcoming and inviting owner, was very pleasant. We went for my son to try his first steak and he really enjoyed it. Fillet was cooked med/well for him and was perfectly done. Other son had chicken burger and also enjoyed it. All dishes came with nice selection of veg and various potato options which was lovely. Only down side for us was myself and partner had the ribs, expecting succulent meat falling off the bone but instead they were tough and even hard to separate with a steak knife. Missing a good few hours of slow cooking in my opinion. Also mine was drowned in bbq sauce which overpowered the whole plate. I know we should have mentioned it on the night but the owner was so polite and considering I could not bring myself to complain plus I still managed to eat most of it and will just put it down to bad choice. Would go back for a steak though. ! Defo room for improvement ( on the ribs ) and very nice to have a restaurant make you feel so welcoming.

My wife and I were in Broadstairs for the food festival on the Sunday.However...being a Sunday,we really fancied a roast dinner.After walking up and down the high street,we noticed the Smokehouse.....looked at the menu,and decided to give it a try.Best decision of the day.Immediately we walked in,we were greeted by Vince,our host,who made us feel extremely welcome.We ordered the Sunday roast...and when it came out,it was huge...and great quality...3 meats..all perfectly cooked,with great roast potatoes...loads of veg..and extra gravy..Heaven!!.Best Sunday lunch in ages ...and very well priced Vince was attentive throughout...and after we were walking up the high street..we heard a man call our name...We had left our bag behind and he had run after us to hand it back...Great customer service and a top notch Sunday lunch...what more could you ask for...We will be back for sure

Really impressed with the revamp of the Smokehouse, another real asset to the Broadstairs food scene. Vince and the team make such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the food is equally impressive. Generous portions excellently cooked, my ribs fell off the bone, steaks were exactly as requested and the chicken was succulent. Wine is good quality, the Malbec paired the meal perfectly and all this at a very reasonable price. Friends who were visiting already want to come back to go again.

My companion and l were visiting Broadstairs for the weekend. He wanted a burger but l'm vegetarian so sometimes difficult to find a place that caters for us both. We had a wander and found this place which had a few veggie options, so happy days. We were both very hungry after a long day travelling. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us warmly. We were seated and ordered our food immediately. I ordered the hallumi burger and my fellow diner ordered the steak burger, both with salad and homemade chunky chips. Our drinks came and then we waited for the food. And waited. And waited. I was so hungry l could have eaten my napkin. It finally came after about half an hour. Served on a wooden board. This is a big no no for me. Unhygienic and totally unnecessary. What's wrong with a nice clean plate? Two tiny portions of basic salad (lettuce, red onion and tomato), and six (yes SIX!) chips apiece, which were borderline raw. My companion said his burger was 'fine'. Mine was literally two chunks of hallumi in a toasted brioche bun. No effert whatsoever in terms of presentation. Prison food looks more appetising, and l'm not exaggerating. Shockingly measly portions and the mayonnaise we ordered never arrived. For what we got l think the cost of the meal (over 30 quid) was a joke. Outrageous. I'm massively unimpressed. Two stars because it was clean and the staff were pleasant, but otherwise very poor.

OMG you need to visit here when you come to Broadstairs the Salmon is out of this world. Friendly bubbly staff and nothing is to much trouble. I will definitely come here again next time I come to Broadstairs on holiday
