Such a good place to eat the food looked so good and tasted even better the mixture of flavours was so great. The service was also great as we didnt have to wait that long for our food the waiters would come up to us and check on how we are regulary which made the experience even better

So been missing spicy 🌶️ Mexican food and this hit the spot. Excellent location to beach and station. Large seating areas. Full menu only served in back area while bar & patio serve abbreviated (no tacos) bar menu. Creative flavours and unique selection. Nachos were packed with toppings and kick. Would definitely return.

Another fun meal at IWA @ Cinque Ports 🌯 Love The Snoop, Vegan wrap + the Banana Blossom tacos for the parents, and make your own Chicken fajitas + Cheese quesadilla for the kids. Fun furniture and neat hip-hop photos and memorabilia 🎤

The food was a surprise since exceeded all expectations.

The braised beef taco was really good but spicier than I expected! Lovely atmosphere and good service. The drinks menu is really good and I’m excited to go back and try the quesadillas. Massive portions.

We had previously eaten at IWA and had a great experience so returned again, only to be hugely let down. We arrived after midday, with Google saying they were open from midday but told food wasn’t until 1300. We went away and returned later. We ordered drinks at the bar and got some menus. There was no direction on how to order so I went to the bar to order where the man serving said to sit back down and he would be back. I returned to my table and waited another 5 minutes and no one came over. Another table asked a waitress in the restaurant area how to order and she said at the bar. I then went back to the bar to order, now behind a couple of others. I was served by the man who barely said two words and didn’t acknowledge having previously given me the wrong direction. I ordered at 13:15. 45 minutes passed and the lady who ordered at the same time as me received her food, ate and left. Just before 14:00, the nice waitress approached our table and apologised, having realised we still hadn’t received our food (even though she was covering the restaurant area). She explained our food and the table next to us had never gone through to the kitchen due to a faulty terminal and after checking, it would be another 20 minutes. Not wanting to be impatient, I didn’t chase and the man behind the bar who took my order had a clear view of our table and didn’t think to put his head in the kitchen at any point to check. We ended up getting a refund and leaving hungry, as I needed to get back. The lady waitress is an asset to the team but the man was rude and clearly lacks initiative. A massive shame, but we won’t be returning.

My wife and I tried to have lunch at IWA. We arrived at 12.30 and sat in the bar area with our two young twin babies in their twin buggy. When I asked at the bar about getting food menus, we were told that the kitchen didn't open until 1 o'clock. We left, ambled around Margate for a while and returned at about 1.20 to a restaurant that was at best 1/8 full. Again, we took a seat in the bar area where we've eaten a number of times before. When I enquired at the bar about getting some menus, we were told that we could only eat if we sat upstairs in the restaurant up a flight of stairs. I asked where their lift was for accessibility purposes due to the large twin buggy that we had and we were told that they don't have one. (Good luck if you arrive in a wheelchair). Literally, as we were told this, a number of waiting staff came out and put food at the tables of all the other people who were sat in the downstairs bar area (literally every other table was eating food). When my wife and I enquired why all the other tables ;who had no accessibility needs) were allowed to eat in the bar area but we weren't, we were told that they'd had some large table bookings up in the restaurant. We were also told it would be a 45 minute minimum wait for food. The food wait of course can't be helped, but the staff's rude, unfriendly and totally disinterested manner towards our basic accessibility needs couldn't have made us feel more unwelcome if they tried. Why could we not have eaten in the bar area, like every other table there was, albeit it with a wait? We felt singled out. We left and went to GB Pizza instead where we had a great meal, were served by friendly staff, and had eaten and left in the same time that it would have taken to even have gotten served at IWA.

Good drinks, rap music and best loaded fries!

Went in recently before a concert at the Hall By The Sea and all started well enough with friendly staff and great smelling food. An hour and twenty minutes later our party of five was still wating for our food having watched others come after us, eat, and leave. We queried the hostess and she quite valiantly tried to cover by saying all the food is prepared fresh and our order would be out in about 15 minutes. 15 minutes later no food had arrived and we asked if we could just cancel our order now as it was now well past opening time for our event, and this place only gets two stars because they graciously cancelled our order and allowed us to leave, hungry and having wasted 90 minutes of our lives. At least it's a story for us all to share in future, but I won't be giving this place a second chance.

We asked for a table for 7, a family lunch. They said “of course!” We sat down and after a few minutes a bouncer came to tell us that we can only have a snack menu as the kitchen was busy. The place is huge and literally 7 tables were occupied. Not sure what’s the point of wasting our time for sitting us and getting us hyped for the food just to offer us snacks (nachos etc, not even vegetarian options). We went to Good Egg and it was fantastic 🙃

Had such a fantastic lunch here, amazing service and exceptional food will definitely be going back again soon.

Beautiful place wonderful atmosphere sadly the food is mediocre and overpriced, to be honest not worth it at all. Waitress was lovely and friendly.

What a find. We stumbled across this place on an early Friday evening and popped in without a reservation. They fit us in between bookings. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the Easy-V (vegetarian). I liked the kids menu - simple wraps with multiple options, and chips. They brought out some crayons and a picture for my son to colour too.

I don’t understand the rave reviews, we had a varied experience and can say it’s average. The tacos are good value, fresh and good selection of fillings but the salsa’s had no seasoning. The wings for £10 came with feathers attached to many of the pieces and were just very dry. Would I go back? No.

Blown away by the quality of food we had this evening-the fish tacos were absolutely incredible (by far the best we’ve ever had) and the loaded fries were seriously loaded and really tasty. The service was also great-highly recommended 😊

Next level nachos. A beautiful place, not as expensive as you might have thought, and simply the best food...

Great Mexican food, friendly staff and nice aesthetic

Fantastic, lovely flavours and good portion sizes. Chips are perfectly cooked, crispy outside and soft inside. Cocktails and drinks are lovely and well priced. Staff are really friendly. Can't fault the place!!

Completely flawless meal. Banana blossom fishless tacos were amazing, great sauces, v yummy quesadillas. Nice vibe, cool decor, good choice of drinks. A tiny bit on the pricey side overall, but definitely worth it. I hope they stay.

What a fantastic place with such great vibes and I have never had such amazing nachos. We all absolutely loved them. Only downside is they had extremely long wait times. It takes ages to get a table inside for proper dining and took about 20-30 min for our nachos and other snacks but it was absolutely worth it.

Place has completely gone down hill. Menu reduction, not open at specified hours, place is called international wrap artists but they got rid of all the customizable wraps. First they made the chicken tenders smaller while charging what I believe was the same price, now they've been replaced despite seeming to be popular (see other reviews metioning them.) I underetand we aren't near mexico but the food is very mediocre.

The sharing nachos was just the best plate of food..we all loved it. Drinks too were good. Nice place to hang out in, and decent views if you're in the bar area. Overall really good vibe and friendly staff.

The Food here is delicious, possibly the best Mexican food we've ever eaten. It's obvious that the gentleman that runs the show puts his all into it. Can't recommend enough!

This place took me by complete suprise, we were hungry after some mini golf and decided to go here. AMAZING! best food i've ever eaten, can't wait to go back.

Lovely staff,cant do enough to make you feel safe in the current covid 19 social distance . Food smells lovely not eaten there yet but will definitely be trying in the near future the Mexican aroma is heavenly Would highly recommend but remember to book a table as limited space at the moment
