Cafe Vinny in Thanet

Went in this morning completely unsure of what I wanted. The staff are so friendly and patient which I appreciated as I struggle with simple decision making and have felt very rushed in other business closeby. Would 100% recommend Cafè Vinny :)

Have been a customer for sometime. My son eats there most of the time. Good service, good food, nice customers and staff and nothing too much trouble, love the bacon sandwiches.

This cafe is very very very clean friendly family own cafe with a healthy choice menu .small cooked breakfast £5 latte £2.50 worth a visit if you in town Cliftonville is very trendy nowadays

You will not find a friendlier welcome in all of Thanet than at this family run gem of a cafe. And they really know how to make good espresso based coffees. Perfect.

We have been going there since they opened 15 years ago. Food and drinks always fresh and excellent value. Vinny and Alda and there children have always been polite and helpful. Our grandchildren love going there for milkshakes and freshly made cakes.

Cafe Vinny is clean and cheerful. The Owners are polite and welcoming. The food is good...Butter is always preferable to margarine and I prefer Scrambled eggs cooked on a hobb rather than a microwave but there is still a sense of good home cooking and the Viennese Whirls are very Light...and the Chocolate and Coffee are perfect. Butter on the toast snd it would be 5 Star.

I found 4 hairs in my food, asked for a large chips and only got a small and my food tasted undercooked

This cafe is a small family business serving really nice coffee and excellent home made cakes and snacks. There is always a friendly welcome when we go there. it is dog friendly - the two window tables reserved for people with dogs.

Believe me its the best cafe in northdown rd and ive tried them all, food is very good with fresh produce, its more expensive than the other cafes, but in life if you want quality and fresh baked food its the place, in my opinion its very good value for the money, the owner loves to say hello to the customers and i find this very important, it makes you feel part of the family.

A friendly little coffe shop that also serves light meals and snacks. Cakes are delicious and home made, the coffee is good. If I am in northdown Road I usually come here as overall i find it nicer than the other coffee shops and good value for money.

Having asked what flavours of ice cream they served, I asked for a rum & raisin and mint choc chip. I was expecting to be served two separate cones, but they were served in a double one! She corrected the mistake though I think one had to be thrown away. I guess next time I'll be clear that "I would like two cones please, one a...' The price was reasonable though.

Lovely little friendly family run cafe, nice coffee, quick and easy food, home made cakes, popular spot with lots of parking nearby including a Tesco metro and petrol station. Definitely worth a visit.

Family business lady’s are very faste and service is fast to , lovely family and delicious specials and for the comment to the man who said slow 5 minute service is absurd iv never seen slow service there before and the man who you saw is vinny who sadly no longer works there due to illness !

Thought it looked a lovely little place to chill & have a breakfast & coffee at 7.30am!2 men having a cuppa &a chat but other than that no other customers! I sat & waited for 5 minutes. A man behind the counter looked at me & I said ‘morning’.he walked out the back so I thought maybe I have to order at the counter! Waited ANOTHER 5 minutes! No one even acknowledged me So I’ve walked out & now sitting in Costa where I was served immediately. Wasn’t my 1st choice but this place need to review their customer service!

This is a well run established cafe that's one of the best .Love to see Vinny has done well .The beverages and food is unique.

Met some friends here and got a lovely welcome from the family owners. It's full of regulars and serves good food and drinks.

The ambience is very warm and vibrant - true italian style. The cheese toasties are brilliant, not to mention the amazing assortment of milkshakes on offer. I want to leave Holland and come back just for these.

Smart family run cafe. Vinny was serving, judging by all the customers that greeted him by name. I had a full English breakfast which was tasty, carefully cooked, and good ingredients. The best part for me was that they got the tea right. The pot of tea for two was big enough for 3 cups each and sufficiently strong to satisfy my needs at breakfast time. They do cakes and ice cream sundaes which I may have to come back later for.

This is five minutes from where I live. It is a family run business. Lovely people, great food, reasonably priced, worth a visit.

My family meet here every week to catch up down to the customer service and food quality. A lovely find in cliftonville high street and strongly recommend!

Honestly one of the nicest cafes I have been to, such a pleasant experience, every member of staff was polite and friendly and provided excellent customer service, the food was nice and quick, it was cheap, loads of variety and the place itself was big and clean. Would reccomend it :)

Food quality is really low. Tea is horrible. Very expensive for the quality of food they are serving.

Cheese and ham sandwich on fresh brown bread with mustard and mayo.strong cup of tea and a tango. Best sarni I've had for ages. Nice friendly staff. Down from London on business.

Unfortunately we couldnt stay long and had to leave my mum n nan there due to no high chairs! There's only so long you can restrain a 2 year old!!

I love Vinny and that is reason enough to make regular visits to Vinny’s Café.

I have been going to Vinny's every now and again for quite awhile. The decor is nice, & the atmosphere is very good. The best thing, is the friendly staff, who are always wecoming. Well worth a visit :)

Been here quite a few times for a hot choc and coffee had bite to eat and cakes really nice friendly atmosphere the couple who run it are lovely and Vinny himself is very welcoming
