The best restaurants in Test Valley South East

Amazing pub with great staff and delicious food. We came as a table of eight for Dinner, with one having an allergy. They have a tablet that you can select allergens and it provides you with items on the menu you can eat, which is brilliant. The food is lovely with lots of options. Shout out to Jess, who was amazing throughout our stay!! We have already booked again for a family birthday meal in December. P.S Is the Shepherds Pie with Lamb coming back on the menu? :)

Sadly this pub remains closed. Some work has been done on the building but there is no indication that it will reopen soon. Best to check before travelling. The nearest pub is the Black Horse at West Tytherley which has good reviews.

Absolutely delicious pizza and we also had chicken poppers and cheese and bacon potato tots and they were delicious too

really annoyed, soggy chips and chicken balls and the chicken noodles only had 4 bits of chicken in waste of money

After seeing mixed google reviews I tested the water with sweet and sour chicken balls and chips. Chips were hard raw potato in side mostly. Chicken balls cooked at least but super greasy and a few with quite chewy chicken inside

Ordered corn on cob x2 which i didnt received. Instead got 2x beans which were not very nice. Better if got what ordered original

Enjoyed the chat and atmosphere in the bar, we then dined and were VERY impressed with our meal. Best fish and chips I've had in a decade. Well done chef. All staff were lovely.

I ordered a takeaway and foid arrived we noticed the food stale and reheated. When I called to complain the person on phone was not interested at all and said I didn't cook the food. Sure bad customer service. I won't ever use again.

We had a lovely meal here a few months ago so we came back for lunch with other family members. This time the food was really awful with very slow service. Never again!

Unfortunately this is what they class as a crispy donner,I have been using keskins for over 20 years ,and this evening was my last order,I did call the shop and they guys offered to send another,it was too late(9:30) ,such a shame they got rid of the van always good from there,obviously the shop has changed hands ,didn't want or ask for a refund,maybe collection is the only way ,just take care when ordering a delivery 👍

chips were great but my pie was cold - Mrs said her fish was delicious, didn't like the batter but that's a personal taste. Shame about the pie 😔 Staff were very friendly, helpful and chatty, lovely people.

Food not delivered. No explanation, nothing. Just says delivered.

Breakfast used to be very good but the one we had on Monday was awful, the 3 tiny mushrooms were like leather and the bacon was wafer thin and dried out. The hash brown hardly cooked and cold. There are hardly any staff and the waiting times atrocious.
