This spot is actually horrendous food isn’t cooked properly terrible service overall just a horrible shop and too pricey for a normal fish and chips
And what seemed to be the manager was extremely rude and constant food missing from my order
We had a afternoon tea for my Nans Birthday. Really enjoyable afternoon food was very good. Nice calm relaxed atmosphere very enjoyable would recommend
Service is excellent, order taken, and didn’t have to wait long. Food freshly cooked. Had a veggie burger with salad and chips. Nicely cooked. Will go again soon!
Stunning pub and amazing food. Fisk and chips were the best I've had for a while.
Upgrade your roast if you wish, I've tried this some weeks back wow.
New Manager and staff attentive and friendly. Give it a go but book as it gets really busy. Dog friendly!
Booked a table for four a few weeks ago for Thursday before bank holiday Friday for our 20th anniversary. In just over a week before this, they inform us they no longer can seat us that evening but have the Weds and Sun available, with no reason why. We cannot commit to these alternative days due to work schedules, hence why we wanted the Thursday evening and booked well in advance.
Very unprofessional.
Nice store but too expensive for me. I use the cafe though despite the freezing air conditioning on cold days!
Disabled toilet in ladies fashion area is not assessed by those with knowledge and understanding. The unnecessarily very heavy door doesn't open fully so it's difficult if not impossible for a frail person with a rollator or wheelchair to get in or out without someone holding the door open.
Theres no coat hook! Are they expected to put their coats on the floor (not not that they would be able to bend down and pick it up)? We did request that a coat hook be put there months ago and it was promised. Obviously they have no imagination as to what it's like to manage as a disabled person.
I absolutely loved my stay at the White Hart Inn. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the atmosphere was just what I needed. Beautiful little area with good restaurants (that close early! Careful!) and friendly folks.
This Costa is fairly average in terms of its offerings and ambiance, making it a typical example of the chain's usual setup. However, its location does stand out as particularly convenient, especially for those waiting to catch a connecting bus. It provides a decent spot to unwind, enjoy a beverage, and have a light bite while passing the time. Whether you're looking to recharge or simply need a break during your journey, it serves as a practical and accessible option.
That said, it’s worth noting that the place can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. The high customer turnover means the staff often don’t have time to clean tables thoroughly between serving customers and preparing drinks. While this isn’t ideal, it’s somewhat understandable given the volume of visitors and the pace at which the staff are working.
