The Redbridge in Test Valley

Popped in on the off chance to avoid the rain. Was greeted by friendly bar staff. Will be back

Popped in for a few drinks while staying at the nearby Wetherspoons. The Redbridge is bright & spacious, welcoming, and has great views across to the pedestrian area for people watching. The young lad was very friendly and attentive, giving the time for a chat. Various comfortable seating, with various tv's showing sport which was a bonus. Prices of drinks were very reasonable on comparison with Wetherspoons but with a more relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely disgusting, due to a personal dispute with a staff member (outside of his workplace!) I got told I was banned, I also feel discriminated against as I’ve never had a problem in there establishment. would not recommend

Overpriced establishment considering the staff ban the punters for medical difficulties and personal differences. Unacceptable

Dropped by to watch the football on multiple large screens in the bar. Beer was cheap @£3.40 for a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Not many people in what is a fairly large bar on a Friday night.

Decent place. Great service. Pool is slightly overpriced. Not as good since they got rid of the kitchen but decent place to have a drink

Decent place. Showed the boxing, quick service and good price per pint. Could have been a bit cleaner in the gents. We will be back.

In the end I was impressed that the social media manager responded promptly to my queries, and I trust they have customers’ experiences in mind as they move forward :)

Service was a little slow but no fault of the bar girl just the fact she was on her own during a night of champions league football ! Clean glass , good atmosphere considering Arsenal and Manchester City fans in the same pub. Good amount of TVs to catch the game on.

NO FOOD ANYONE!! So to call a restaurant to ask if they are serving food and the lady on the phone says yes, but when you get there NO FOOD, NOT GOOD!!!!

Cricket world cup final, go to a supposed sports bar, and they're showing racing from Navan on all TVs! And no response to a request to change just one. Won' t be going back

Came for the rugby World Cup 2023 game - Ireland vs New Zealand. Setting is nice and food is to be expected however unfortunately once the rugby came on the bar staff refused to turn on the volume for the game. After asking twice and being refused, I spoke with other people who were in the same situation and they said the same. The excuse was more people were in the pub for the boxing than rugby however almost everyone in the pub were there for the rugby. Unfortunately it soured the afternoon.

Decent food and drink selection, very well priced. Lots of screens to watch sport and a pool table. Big up Robyn

April gave the best hospitality at red bridge, she dealt with a mis hap that she corrected and made us feel welcome through our her warm welcome made us return 5 stars to April

This was the Last place I saw my dear dad alive when he came to the uk, i came to town today to mark the occasion and pay homage to spending time with him here. Pub filthy dirty. Bar not clean. I could gave sat through that but never got to try the inside delights as i was waiting 6 minutes despite the bar being empty and woman behind the counter. Felt like I was intruding if anything, completely ignored and the nice thing I wanted to do has been ruined. If I could give minus or NO STARS for bad pub and bad conditions and bad, ignorant staff then I would. Zero.

Food was poor and took forever to arrive as well as arriving sporadically. Half the table had finished their food before the other halves food had even arrived. Only table eating food in the “restaurant ” so couldn’t even put it down to being busy. Worst leaving meal ever. Thanks Adam

The sports bar has a nice ambience, but the tables are all dirty, as are the cutlery and glasses. The menu has a large offer but many things are not even available, so you have to put together your meal somehow. We went with four people and we were the only ones who wanted something to eat yesterday and we waited more than fifty minutes for our food. All in all, very horrible and the service was almost zero. Absolutely not recommendable.

It's a decent drinking hole with friends but for me it's trying to be a pub and and a nightclub at the same time. There is a point in the evening where the music gets too load to talk. Love the cocktails though.

the place stinks of chemicals, the tables are sticky. They wanted to order food, they asked for a steak - they didn’t have it, they asked for chicken - they didn’t, they asked for fish - they didn’t. Why make a menu if there is nothing but alcohol? I asked if I could buy food elsewhere, and in a bar buy a drink and sit in an institution, to which I was told: we can’t bring our own food! If you can't bring your own, make sure you have food.

Paul is an absolute credit to your team. Always serves the pint with a smile and always happy to chat

When you buy a drink you need to make sure the glass is clean because I can say 100% of the glasses have lipstick still stuck in them from previous costumers and the pub hasn’t got the best atmosphere and makes you feel out of place and not welcome wouldn’t recommend it. Glasses are absolutely disgusting.

Usually a great pub to watch all the sport in. Been going here for years . Recently when I have been in there, they appear not to be able to remove people shouting the C word at the top of their voice and being disruptive for other customers, running up to another tables and ruining other people’s experience. Mentioned it to bar staff but it obviously didn’t register as he was paying their wages. I understand people get passionate about their sport and I’m not saying people can’t have fun, but I assure them if this was any other pub they would have been kicked out, and I wasn’t the only customer in the pub at the time who felt that way. Won’t be returning.

Absolutely brilliant !! Me and my mate down for a couple to andover , its fair to say we have seen a pub or two. This wins. . .the food was Incredible and reasonably charged , service excellent and we will be back and can not recommend this bar enough

Fairly upmarket pub/bar in andover wasnt in here long but seemed nice, cold beer.

Treid to get a beer but allegedly there was a gas issue, shambles.

Great atmosphere at about 3.30pm on a Saturday. Busy now and looking forward to it packing out for the football given its only place in Central town with 15+ screens. Heineken glasses from the fridge andice cold tap is a winner nd 5 for £12 on small plates is decent!

Absolutely awful place don't not go here! Went a sat down and ordered and waited over a hour for our food and when it came they got it completely wrong so in the end I just got a refund and went to mcdonalds!

Shocking !!!came in with 6 of us all ordered food at same time ,an hour later and the first meal came out then after 20 minutes the next 2 came out and again 20 minutes later then next 2 and then last meal was completely forgotten about ....never again I'm afraid !!!!

Incredible, popped in Monday briefly with my husband and we were greeted by two young gentlemen who appeared to have great personalities. The service was incredible and definitely worth popping in and trying this place out! Incredible!

Seems to be run by teanage staff Kitchen staff dictate what time the stop cooking as we were told 8.45pm last orders so put our oder in at 8.30pm.... Paid Sat there for 20mins just to be told that they shouldn't of took order.... Then they wanted to give a credit note on the £28 refund This used to be a good place before covid... Come on owners put some effort in 😱

Even on the hottest day of the year, the chef, working in a kitchen at over 45° hewt, sweet his pants off to cook me a fry up. He then went home bless him so I feel so lucky to have had that. Such a friendly place, and the food is beautiful 😍

DO NOT EAT HERE !! … told food would be 30/40 mins, after an hour 14 mins later I was getting up to go cancel and I really wish I had… not being able to make nachos should be a crime.. the chickens wings were barely ok.. everything else is disgusting.. a cut up sausage for £4… watery scampi with no tartar sauce, barely warm cheesy garlic bread and cold chips.. the food here is disgusting and the service awful.. maybe it’s good for drinks… maybe… but do not eat here EVER

Went there last year visiting a family member that lives in the UK this was my first British Pub experience and it was a nice one the service was nice and friendly and the pints were cold what more can someone ask for they loved my New York accent 😀

Great food and drinks for the price, exactly what you would expect.

A group of 12 of us booked a table to watch the football. We enjoyed an afternoon of sport and had food and drink. The service was excellent for both as well as the coverage of the sport. Booking the table via the staff was excellent and quick. Also any questions or requests were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Overall, we were very satisfied with our afternoon, and the service provided by the staff and management. I recommend a visit to this well looked after establishment.

Food was soo good and reasonably priced, bar staff were very friendly and helpful and pub itself was a generally nice place to watch football and have a few pints. Overall very happy with the experience and will definitely go back in the future.
