The best restaurants in Spelthorne South East

So I live local to this pub and have visited it many times. The menu regularly changes and previously the food has been good. However on my latest visit we ordered three dishes from the Tapas menu namely the nachos, satay chicken and halloumi. Upon arrival of the nachos the chef had made the cardinal sin of using sauce out of a plastic bottle to replicate sour cream, salsa and guacamole. The fact that this was rank sauce was squirted in three lines across the nachos made the dish inedible. The satay chicken was good but again the sauce had obviously come out of a bottle. The halloumi was passable. Tapas should be bog standard for a chef and not thrown together by taking short cuts and replacing fresh products with muck from a plastic bottle.

Went there for Sunday lunch randomly, warm welcome, lovely people .. Ordered a roast and was surprised how tasty and value for money it was. Recommend

Coffee and cake good. However, very disappointed to see extremely poor cleaning/hygiene - member of staff clearing table next to ours and using the used napkin from one of the lunch plates to wipe the table, we were hoping she would come back with a spray to clean the table properly but did not. Within 2 minutes the table was occupied - revolting !

I love buffalo wings - but the UK don’t tend to do them very well. Came here for a quick bite not expecting much - but was decent. Boneless wings well cooked and tasty. Would return.

A really bad experience in wingstop. Me and my bro went to wingstop.the food was expensive(20£ , 1.2£ for each piece of boneless chicken ,11 in total , 5£ for a small and awfully tasted milkshake and the rest is for fries which was soggy ) and the portion is small (not because of the price just generally too small portion). As we waited 5 whole minutes in the que of 2 people ahead to order , we couldent help but notice the lack of eye-comforting environment, it was messy in colour , dirty and sort of compact designed. The only reason yall even get 1 star is because the white haired cashier was patient and gave good advice.(Id give a 0 of she wasnt there).As I was seated , my jacket(26.99£) was stained by the sauce on the table by the previous customers, the table was unclean ! I js couldent care anymore, i want my food and i want to leave this place already. We was served, there was no tissue , no salt/pepper packets or even plastic gloves (everyone else was provided , we dint get any). The atomic chicken was awful , it was soggy , isnt even spicy and it was cold for fricks sake. Again,i couldent care i just want to finish my male. I tried them soggy fries and the sauce , what in the blue chess is that blue cheese sauce , pretty sure if i sent the sauce to be checked i wont find any elements of cheese. The toilet was small and the bowls were uncomfortably close. The hand soap dint smell at all and did a pretty bad job cleaning oil from my hands. Overall , bad food. Bad price , bad service, bad toilet. Go to five guys bruh

We ordered a chicken srip meal and chicken burger and got chicken wings and a chicken burger, allocated time was between 12-15 minutes, we waited 40min and only realised when we got home that they did not cook the chicken strips.

I go here once or twice a month with my father and the owner is always so happy to see us and usually deals with us personally, most times he remembers our orders too, which is a nice touch :) also the food is always spot on, having been to quite a few subways, I'd have to say this is my favourite.

Incredibly rude staff and unprofessional. The female - I assume - manager was barking at her staff which I don’t think she realises is incredibly off-putting to customers. The waiters didn’t seem to get anything done with her yelling in their ear. She then proceeded to sit drinking outside and making loud rude remarks. Very unprofessional! Will not be returning there for another £17 bland and unseasoned vegan burger. Also, we had two cocktails but she tried to charge us for four and when my boyfriend said no, she attempted to show him that we ordered four when we - in fact - only had two. I do NOT recommend.

Booked a Christmas Turkey Lunch for my elderly Mum & myself y'day. It was delicious. Turkey tender, tasty roasties and she tucked in & virtually cleared her plate which with her dementia she hadly manages these days. The atmosphere, welcoming staff and great food means Notcutts works it magic to make Mum's day. I've booked again already.

Worst coffee ive had for a while, burnt and very watery. Sevice is always really good however, as well as the cleanliness

Been coming here since they first opened, best pizza I’ve tasted and good value for money on the 18” pizza’s. Service has always been excellent and friendly.
