We've been meaning to try La Bella Napoli since it opened. Today was finally that day, and the food was phenomenal. ordered a munch box wasn't great to be honest. Donner and chips were ok but the pizza was tasteless really. I've had better. really should have gone fat.....

Been coming here for many years when visiting the area, so thought we would have a meal, and wow. Ordered full rack of ribs which turned out to be like half a pig. I love food, but even I struggled to finish them. The meat fell off the bone. The kids meals were great too. The staff are really lovely and just the right level of attentivness.

We had breakfast outside opposite The Abbey . Excellent breakfast. More than enough ,freshly cooked and friendly, efficient service. Highly recommended 👍

Food was ok. Deep fried Camembert was delicious but to only get 5 pieces of calamari for £12 was deeply disappointing. Will take me a long time to get over that.

I have visited twice in the last few weeks for breakfast, always cooked fresh with good ingredients, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend for a coffee or breakfast when in Battle, dog friendly too.

I ordered large Haddock and chips and what has to be the smallest pot of mushy peas i have ever seen. The Haddock was very greasy and tasteless signifying the fish was not fresh and the chips were excessively greasy and well undercooked and the portion size was way to small. And to top it off I spent the rest of the night after my meal being sick and not able to leave my toilet. Eat at your own risk I would highly recommend you avoid this place! I would not even let a dog eat the food from this place!

Used to be the best fish and chips I had ever had, but the last two times it's been disappointing. The main issue is the portion size, large chips which we always used to share, is now hardly enough for one person, and 50% of the portion was just all little crunchy bits. It's quite disgraceful to call it a large portion and charge the price . Cost £12 for the chips in the picture, plus one piece of Fish and 1 plain sausage!
