lovely pub, very clean and welcoming. Staff friendly and attentive. Went out of their way to help. Food was great, tasty and good value.

Just had the mushrooms on sourdough with Morcilla. Flavour was amazing. Recommend extra bacon too.

I think £2.95 for a tin of diet coke is daylight robbery. The tea and small piece of millionaires shortbread came to over £10.00

My favourite coffee shop in Lymington. Light, bright, clean. Well spaced tables. Well run. Great coffee. Friendly welcome.

As always the food was delicious and the service very friendly. Gavin goes out of his way to use the highest quality ingredients and will even get liver in for my husband even if it’s not on the menu. Would highly recommend, best Sunday Roast Beef out!

Went last Sunday for the 2 for 1 roast, sat with 11 friends in the bar, tables were moved to accept us with no fuss. Food was amazing as always, needless to say we booked for this Sunday, same table by the wood burning stove, at least 10 again, can’t wait 👍

First visit. Really enjoyed the food but service was poor. Staff are lovely and friendly. However tables were not being managed properly. We waited a really long time to have starter plates cleared as staff just walked past us and they forgot one of the dishes we had ordered. Only one plate of mains tapas arrived but we had no cutlery. And they still hadn’t fully cleared the starter plates. The lamb chops arrived stone cold so we sent it back and then when it was brought back hot we didn’t get the rest of our food for 15 mins. So only had one plate of food to eat with nothing else. Service is automatically added also. Shame.

We'd heard about The Tinker's Granddaughter through a friend and so decided to try it out for ourselves and booked the Sunday Roast Club - we were not disappointed! The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. It was our first time trying Juicy Marbles steaks and I have to say, they were the best meat substitute I've ever had. The only downside was that the room was quite crammed. We ordered first and by the time our food was served, people were still queuing right behind us to order theirs - which I understand is unavoidable but did hinder the experience a bit. I also treated myself to a tiramisu to take away, which again was the best plant based tiramisu I've had. We loved the experience so much that we've already booked again for June!

Watched Skyfall band. Absolute awesome band and the pub was heaving. Such a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely be following Skyfall and returning to the pub to see other bands.

A great little cafe. Great coffee and the small range of snacks are all very tasty. The staff put the effort in to make you feel comfortable. It's a pity it's not right in the centre of the High Street but don't let that put you off.

Absolutely excellent - the food was stunning, our party the salmon rilette, the Haven Salmon and fish and chips. Service was great and we sat outside with the heaters. A perfect lunch.

All I can say is the experience was average. Nothing wowed me, the coffee was mediocre and the service was not at all personal.
