The best restaurants in Middleton Milton Keynes South East

My wife and I visited the Olde Swan at lunchtime today. Ola looked after us and we each had different but excellent meals, with Ola dealing with the changes to the menu options that we wanted. I had the Steak and Ale pie. It was excellent, possibly a bit on the large side and so I struggled to destroy the subsequent Bramley apple pie with coconut vanilla ice cream - another excellent choice. The apple is slightly tart and so the ice cream is a superb accompaniment. Great surroundings, a great team and a wonderful overall experience. Thank you Team Swan.

The hotel was beautiful the decor was different in a pleasant way The warm friendly atmosphere and lovley staff The rooms were lovley and very clean the walk in shower in our bathroom was amazing highly recommended

Moores Fish & Chips absolutely hit the spot. The cod was fresh and perfectly cooked – flaky inside with a light, crispy batter that wasn’t oily at all. Chips were proper chippy style – thick, golden, and fluffy inside. You can tell they care about quality here. Portions were generous, and everything was served piping hot, fresh from the fryer. I also tried the curry sauce and mushy peas – both really tasty and a great match for the meal. Staff were friendly and polite, and the place was clean and well-kept. It’s a simple setup, but that’s part of the charm – no gimmicks, just really good food. If you’re after classic British fish and chips in Milton Keynes, this is easily one of the best spots around. Will definitely be back!

The staff are highly racist , they sold rubbish food to me because I'm black. Gave very bad chicken fried rice, useless excessively cooked vegetable satay.

First & last time, never had fish & chips before that tasted rank!! The chips must have been lunch time chips served up at tea time!!

My best friend took me here today as a birthday surprise , and it was absolutely lovely, great selection of tea and cakes beautiful surroundings, warm and cosy , I’d like to give a big shout out to Antonio who was so inviting and made my birthday fantastic a true knowledge to the best management I’ve ever experienced , even a lovely glass of Prosecco and a happy Birthday plate .. we cannot wait to return , also Will was so friendly , attentive . Will return very soon .

Nothing to complain about, very good burger and chips, nice tidy restaurant, friendly staff, tasteful music. And the price is very reasonable for the quality provided. Will certainly return

Used to be a regular here but not anymore. Staff (at the bar) cleared my table in spite of telling them specifically that I am leaving my belongings for 5mins. They also let a random stranger (not even a staff) look into my belongings when I went out, all within these 5mins. I walked out embarrassed and didn’t even order dinner. Really let down!

Great little find in the area! Staff were friendly and welcoming and the Roast we had was fantastic. Will definitely visit again when back in the area!

Lets start from Costa Barista of the year (more like of the 10 years) and her name is Tara!!! I'm so jealous of her patience dealing with 7yo fussy wishes those changed like 10 times on how the hot chocolate had to be served lol. All in all best experience out of all the Costas I have ever visited!!! Right people with right attitude and great communication skills makes a massive difference, you even end up spending a lot more than intended 🤣 No regrets - well worth it, especially then 7yo says - it's the best day ever 🥳

EDIT - The place went downhill. They reduced the portions and quality and raised the prices. Will no longer touch the place. YOU have been warned. They are now a waste of cash. Old review: Out standing Curry house! But the food - Excellent ! The best I have tasted in Milton Keynes so far. We go there very often as we do not live very far.

Lunga was amazing! There was no salt available, so I asked, and he kindly brought it over to me personally. It’s the little things like going the extra mile that truly stand out and are greatly appreciated. Amazing customer service, i’ll be back!
