Tasty-MK in Milton Keynes

I’m a regular in tasty mk they know my order and I’m very happy with the good service went and got kebab chips great people and love the food!

So disappointed. Gravy excellent Chips only just edible. Lamb kebab tasteless and the meat was dry and most of it crispy. Salad Good. Cod just about edible Haddock inedible, smelt bad too

Since my last review in October 2021, nothing has changed, in fact it's worse! They put 3 whole chillis in my kebab. Even though I specify no chilli. And when I emailed them, several times, no response. Never again. They just don't care.

Avoid at all costs. We went to collect our food and waited nearly an hour. The chicken shish kebabs were cold and the meat was burnt the doner kebab was dried out like beef jerky. The portion of coleslaw for £3 was tiny as were the halloumi chips £5.95 for 5 thin pieces. this used to be a great place and has gone drastically downhill since the change in ownership. We wasted £50 and an hour of our lives waiting for some pretty awful food.

Big shoutout to the guys at #TastyMK who looked after me Saturday night with a very late order for a large portion of chips. They could have said no but they put them on specially for me and delayed closing up. That’s what you call customer service; and the chips were great too! Really appreciated, thanks guys!

Okay here we go portion size good we had kebabs x3 ,but when we got our order it werent hot enough was luke warm and not cheap. Wasmt busy in store but service was slow due to them prioritising online orders , not orangnised properly hence the slow instore service.. nowhere near as good as it was before it changed hands, other than food recieved nearly cold the food was of good size amd nice taste,need to work on there customer service and wait time instore... and keep food warm !! Wont use again unfortunately due to these points..

This spot is a go to spot for late night cravings as it’s best place in Milton Keynes and reasonable with everything. We always get looked after and given good customer service been provided.

Shocking food. Great business that has gone down the toilet. Bunch if young lads who don't have a clue. I ordered a haddock which was £9.50 and its 12cm's long. Ridiculous thin and tasted awful. Took it back and just got excuses. Do not eat here

Ordered chicken pie, had to wait 15 minutes for it to be cooked fresh so they said. Live just round the corner but when I got home, pie was stone cold in the centre. When called the restaurant they said the pies were cooked to the right temperature so basically didn’t believe what I was saying which I totally disagree with. Have reported them to the council over food preparation.

Vegan kebab was excellent. Cauliflower wings were as good as we've had, with chips done perfectly. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. Great job. Toni R and Luke D

Has Tasty MK got new management? They used to be the best for gluten free fish and chips but WTF is this?! 🤣 Rang them up and asked for a refund as it was inedible how they served it but apparently that’s not in their policy? (Excuse the air fryer pic, had to cook my takeaway🥲)

I have ordered from here 4 times, and each time they put chilli sauce on everything, this time was the worst, ordered seitan kebab and with the first bite, my mouth was on fire. I am highly allergic to chilli, why do you do this? I always order garlic mayo, but never get it. The 2 pots of chilli sauce melted and went over everything. They also put a 4 inch whole chilli in with the kebab, WHY?

Fantastic take away, great service & great food. Also good value for money, highly recommend!! They also provide brilliant gluten free & vegan options

Great vegan options, inexpensive and not dripping in oil. The restaurant always looks very clean. We are a family of 5, and we love that there are enough vegan options for everyone. We've ordered from here for over a year now, but unfortunately, we don't live close by, we have to travel 25 minutes, so we don't order as often as we probably would. We highly recommend the vegan Kebab and cauliflower bites. If the lady isn't working, our order is usually slightly wrong, but it doesn't affect our dietary requirements. For example, they might put one of the kebabs in a flatbread rather than a pitta or forget the cucumber from a salad, which isn't the end of the world.

Title says it all - Worst chips ever! The battered sausage and chicken bites were soggy and tasted uncooked. The chips tasted like cheap budget oven fries, and nowhere near worth the cost! They were vile. I put them in the bin. As did my sister. The guy behind the till was not even remotely paying attention as I had to repeat my very simple order 3x! And found the other guys really rude. There are so many better places to eat fish and chips and will never be returning.

We have previously loved the food from here but last night part of the order was wrong and the portion sizes for each of us wildly different, despite ordering the same thing! The man sorting the food order was more bothered by his phone and walked around watching something on it. This obviously contributed to the order being wrong and I hope that phone doesn't go to the toilet with him as how unhygienic!! We were once regular customers but I don't think we will be using Tasty MK again!

It was first time visiting TastyMk probably the best customer service I received from one of the young staff member, he was polite and respectful and was friendly. Will be ordering again and visiting more often again.

Was 15 minutes before they close and they were shutting things down saying that items on the menu were not available what’s the point in closing before you close ridiculous place

Third classes people They charged me for big portion of chiken donner but serve less than small portion. Please don't go Testy mk they are not honest people .

Only thing I can say is that it was fast. 12 minutes. You can’t really see the preparations. As it’s all prepared behind the counter. When I got home my chicken kebab had so much sauce I couldn’t taste the chicken nor the salad. Chicken was cut up in such small pieces it could’ve been anything. My chips I ordered 2, 1 was cold and soggy the other fresh as it had just come out. I recall the lady say she needed more chips which should’ve prepared me to get the leftovers of the earlier batch. The salad on display was dry as it been out too long. But we we were hungry and all the good places I’d gone to were busy. Meat is precooked as I didn’t see them cook anything so definitely not fresh. I would not recommend this place.

Absolutely vile, went here as it had vegan options, but the food is inedible, the chips were brown, cold, shrivelled up, and very sad looking, they were also as hard as old nails. As for the vegan fish, it was basically a grease soaked, unflavoured block of tofu, that also looked like it was cooked 3 weeks ago Actually called to complain and they couldn't care less if their food is any good or not. Do not get food from here no matter what, if you're that hungry you'd be better off eating your own trainers

Perfectly cooked fish, light batter. Good chips. Thoroughly enjoyed. Great service. Good value. Will return.

Wonderful choice of vegan food. Fish too greasy though and they always add chilli sauce to my food when I don't ask for it. Kebabs good, chips, prawns, squid rings amazing.

Visited Tasty MK for their vegan range and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious and not like anything I had ever had before. The “lamb” shish is now my favourite thing and I will definitely be coming back soon!
