SEASONS RESTAURANT in Milton Keynes

We love this local pub and hope the new managers make a success of it. We have eaten here and the food was nice pub grub but we will try the roast as they are getting great reviews. Our only criticism is that since the pub has been refurbished it really lacks warmth and ambience. The lighting is very bright and no pictures on the walls or lamps - it is no longer a cosy place you would sit for hours. Before they opened they had lovely hanging baskets too but not sure what happened to them.

Came in to try the new lunchtime menu. It was really good. Very friendly staff.

Food was mediocre. I ate it because I am heavily pregnant & was hungry but I didn’t enjoy it very much. Calamari was not crispy, dip was nice, prawns overdone & garnish not as advised on menu. Fries ok but expensive for a tiny bowl & salty. Other people had pasta and portions are small & consistency looked dry not saucy.. The place was dim & half empty but we sat at 2.30 so probably in between lunch/dinner. Service - I asked for table water, I never got it but there was time for staff to sit and eat instead. We used a voucher, just had mains & after being asked if we wanted desert or coffee a second time & declined we were brought the bill without asking for it which is just rude and the place was half empty so we weren’t delaying the table. Also FYI it is a cashless venue which when questioned Penelope said it says it on the receipt, my friend wasn’t allowed to pay cash at the end. It’s no good telling people at the end. For all these reasons I wouldn’t choose to eat here again. I don’t usually eat at chains and this reminded me why! I guess it depends what your expectations are. Our bill was lower because we used a voucher but if I had paid full price I would have been livid. Positives toilet was clean & food came super quick as it was dead 😊

Very greasy, Salad is perthetic , small salad for 2 people, wrong dressings given A pitta full of greaser meat a tiny salad??? Do they know what a kebab looks like????

I took the pizza with cheese, chicken and salami to go and it was so tasty that I took it with fries 💯💯💯👇👌 I recommend it With confidence you would think you were in Istanbul the smell is, attractive fast food menus and pizza with toppings of your choice take one and write to me if you liked it leave me a heart
