We had booked into the Premier Inn and wanted to try Sue's. We just wanted a quick lunch and a cuppa. I had baked potato with beans and cheese and it was served with a small fresh salad. My wife had vegetable soup and half a baguette. Both of us were very happy with our meals. We then had mince pies and ice cream. They were fantastic and we enquired who made them, apparently it was Lyn. We suggested that they take great care of Lyn, mince pies like that could become famous! Service was quick and very polite.

Food was delicious and was prepared fast. Best chips I’ve had in years. Service was brilliant - really lovely couple of chaps who were very helpful! Will be back

Placed an order through uber eats app, was advised order would be delivered in 25-35 mins. An hour later called them as no tracking information listed on app and was told order left 10 mins prior, 30 mins later it still hadn’t arrived. Called them again and they pretended to speak to their driver and proceeded to tell me it’s nearby and will be 2-3 mins. Another hour past and still nothing. I waited over 2 hours for my delivery and it has never arrived. It’s not exactly a busy night, nor was it a big order and I have now wasted £30! I have no idea what it’s like for collection or the quality of food as we didn’t get it but I wouldn’t waste any time placing a delivery with them. Bad customer service and Just lying to us and fobbing us off. I should have read the other reviews on this place before I ordered and I wish I had as seems to be a common issue with them not fulfilling uber eats orders and then not answering their phone. If they can’t fulfil their customers requests they shouldn’t be allowed to operate on uber!

Delicious food, warm ambiance, and excellent service! The flavors were authentic, and the grilled dishes were a standout. A perfect spot to enjoy traditional Portuguese cuisine. Highly recommend!

I have always used Costa Coffee on Gillingham high street, but have started to get fed up with the length of queues due to their online orders. I popped into Frasers as an alternative and now wouldn’t go back to Costa. The coffee is better than Costa and the atmosphere is so much nicer!

We dined at Yummy House and got a takeway. The food was really pleasant and to a good standard. They only accept cash here so bare this in mind when placing an order, however, there are cash points locally at the Tesco Express (Victory Pier) or at the Sainsburys Local on Gillingham Road. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. There are good deals to be had and the staff dealt with allergen requests well.

Having made an unexpected visit to Gilingham, Cafe Time was the first cafe we came across - having parked just around the corner to St. James Street. I thought I would leave a review as the others are quite dated. The interior is more bistro than greasy spoon which just added to its charm. Firstly, staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Secondly, we had a OAP special at £10 - excellent value as that included a drink AND a dessert. Highly recommended. I gleaned during my time there that the cafe is popular with local residents who regularly eat there.
