Great quality food, amazing prices, and lovely staff. Perfect pit stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner

But now it's under new management it's not great at all sorry to say Was always in there friendly staff but now the just work and that's that

If you are a londoner you will probably like us crave the old pie and mash occasionally, and the dish at the Eel Pie is quite a good alternative to the actual london ones, We often go there when we want this dish, but also I go there every time I visit Gillingham as its a nice clean place and I like to sit outside, and now they have made the new covered in area its lovely

After the recent facelift I thought I’d pop in for pie & mash... I’m glad I did, it’s as lovely now as it’s always been. I struggle to think of a place anywhere that serves better pie & mash. A very easy 5 stars.

It seems like people are being put off by change,well dont . The new management have brightened the place up and the food is no different,they may do things differently but for me(who never has the same thing over and over again just because its safe or nice) so far has all been very good experience all around. All you ex-regulars should go back and not be afraid of change......

Very friendly staff. Quick service. Generous portions. Very fair prices. Good menu selection. Free newspapers. Smoking area. Clean with plenty of seats. Daily specials on menu board. Underground parking (pay for) nearby.

We visited twice, following days, as we were around. Initially looking for something to eat, a brunch. Walking through the high street we noticed this location. The first impression was fine, not more. The service was very friendly and after ordering we were served fairly quickly, all kinds of food, omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, etc. I opted for a scramble son toast, the 1st morning, and a Spanish Omelette, the 2nd morning. The dishes were delicious, freshly prepared and served as expected. We all were kind of impressed by the good tastes, which was the reason we returned a 2nd day. We will not hesitate to return. A very local impression, with a very good quality. Value-wise also very good.
