First time visit, food lovely, staff friendly, good prices, nice place would go again.

Had the best sandwich here. The girls were nice and very welcoming. Tommy the owner is a really nice guy. This place is the golden nugget of Hoo Ur missing a trick if you've not tried Taggs 👍

Nice staff and atmosphere. Just quite a poorly made coffee. Seems like they might need some barista training. One of the saddest looking flat white’s I’ve ever had. Milk steamed way too hot and just ruined the coffee.

What an amazing a lovely café, had breakfast there, staff are so friendly and helpful, food was beautifully cooked and such good value for money, the place is spotlessly clean and service was quick but not rushed.

My first visit today 14.06.24 for lunch, I took my seat and found it to be the most comfortable chair I have sat in for a place to eat, the table had every condiment needed for what was on the menu and what a menu! Everything is locally grown - fresh, full of flavour and cooked to perfection! I had a cup of tea that came with a Jug of milk so you can pour in your desired quantity. The waiting staff were happy, pleasant, friendly, quick to serve, quick to seat customers and constantly asking "is everything okay"?. Tags is light, airy, spotless clean. Music plays in the background which is perfect and easy to listen to and I am sure I caught myself "tapping my feet" to it. I highly recommend Taggs in Hoo and look forward to my next visit. Shame the village has a coffee shop that only opens when they feel like it. Starbucks/Costa if you can see this. We need you!

Really happy to find out that eggs are free range, enjoyed a beautiful & delish scrambled eggs on toast, very impressed. Lovely, friendly staff.

Went midweek but was still very busy there, great atmosphere and we just got a table. Lovely coffee and lovely breakfast. Little gem of a find and very popular.

Just had a coffee but it was a welcome place to sit for a bit. My granddaughter had a very impressive hot chocolate with all the trimmings. The staff and even customers could not have been kinder to an elderly friend with a walking aid. The food looked good but we weren't eating. Lovely cafe for the community in Hoo. I will definitely return though.

SWEET CHILLI CHICKEN AND CHEESE TOASTIE! I am shouting about it because it was absolutely phenomenal!! It was supposed to be a baguette but I have never been happier that they had sold out of them because that flavour combination was made for a toastie! The lady behind the till on Saturday 21 May was so lovely and helpful, she helped work through menu and the caramel latte was sublime! Good toilets and seating selection inside and out, very busy but still cosy.

Took my partner here for a breakfast as a birthday treat. Lovely home cooked food, cooked fresh to order. Coffee was also great and orange juice was a generous size. Staff friendly and nice atmosphere.

Used Taggs for a wake after my nans funeral. Everything about it was excellent, food , staff and cleanliness. Highly recommend.

Just not very nice. Breakfast was over priced over cooked and just the same wholesale packet food they do in all the cheap rubbish places in strood. They have comfy chairs so that means they can charge more for frozen food cooked in a microwave? go elsewhere! pay less! get better food. I gave two stars because the chairs were nice, but dont eat here.

Very disappointing "cafe" Breakfast was terrible, cheap budget beans and sausage, bacon was all fat and looked boiled not grilled or fried. Next week ill try the other place down in the mariner and see what happens, this was terrible food.

Love this place! Great place to meet up with friends or just have a coffee moment to yourself in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We visited Tags on a recommendation and weren’t disappointed. Good quality food, freshly made with good ingredients. The printed menu is a bit sparse but all you have to do is ask. Will definitely go again if we’re in the area.

First time there today and the first thing you notice is the way it was laid out and decorated. You wouldn't think it was a cafe with a bar in the corner but somehow everything worked. Service was great, food was top notch especially the large breakfast 😋 👌. Great choice on menu and the bar 🍸 with non alcoholic beer which some restaurants don't serve which was a plus for me.

I never had a breakfast that look luke a week old ..beans were dried and overcooked in microave ,bacon was like rubber ,and ,this was the worst ,the sausave was sooo dry hard coz it was coocked in the microave ,i think about 2 or 3 times ,it looked like a dog poo, That was very bad ,don,t recomend to anyone ,

I have very high standards when it comes to English breakfast food, so I don’t say this lightly: I’ve just eaten possibly the best sausage & egg sandwich of my life here! Lovely white bloomer bread & 2x orange yolky eggs cooked to perfection. If I had to make any sort of criticism it only would be that the sausages could have been a bit posher but that would be very unfair. Plus sometimes you don’t necessarily want poncy gourmet sausages & if they were then they’d have to charge you more & honestly you will not find a better S&E sandwich for under a £5er. Staff were also lovely & friendly. Definitely give it a go!

You can always just how good an good English breakfast is by the sausage that comes out in the plate. I'm please to say the sausage was spot on and the rest of the breakfast was prefect. Definitely will be back again

Ordered Afternoon Tea for the final day of our vaccination centre. OMG they where beautifully presented and tasted great. If you haven't ordered one you need to you will not be disappointed absolutely yummy. Everyone asked where i got them from. Thank you so much xx

Fantastic place, we had a wake there and had cream teas opposed to a buffet, there was more than enough food and we were given boxes to take home what we had left. Staff brilliant and helpful xxx

Well, it wasn't terrible. All the food appeared to be bought in, lots of unwrapping nothing appeared to be baked fresh on-site. Coffee was hot but so was the machine stuff from the Spar next door. Wish we had gone to the diner down the road, but hey next time...

Very sad. Only open Fri, Sat,Sun for take aways. Minimum staff but still very nice people, and Sunday lunch takeaway still excellant

Service very slow. Didn't inform us that toaster broke! Could have ordered something else. Tables not always cleaned between customers. Bathroom dusty not cleaned regularly? Shame has the potential to be a nice place

Drove past on my way somewhere and gave it a chance. offered full english breakfast of turkey and cranberry sandwiches/baguettes. I had the full english. Hot, hot plate and filled from brim to brim. Excellent. Nice hot cup of coffee to go with it. Nice looking cakes on the counter (wouldn't manage those after the breakfast!!!). Cost was reasonable.

Went last summer and they did amazing milkshakes. It was quite but the staff member was very welcoming and polite.

This place is a little gem with fantastic food lovely staff comfy cosy lovely atmosphere which is friendly and kind. But above all the best Sunday roast ever! I almost don't want to review it so I can keep it to myself but you really need to try it.Had a Brexit party Friday just gone and we took a couple of our friends and they had a wonderful night.

We only popped in for a cuppa and a muffin, instead we had lamb roast, perfect, and they do takeaway sunday roast, so we did, friendly staff, comfortable decor, and soft music.

Breakfast was not good for the price. One sausage and one piece of bacon. Plus noticed staff in the kitchen picking from boxes of food and sniffing them.

Best roast dinner I've had out by far. Only one thing missing parsnips please. We will come again x x x

We've been going to Taggs for years. Our usual is a sausage, egg and mushroom bagette, perfectly done runny eggs! Hot chocolate with all the trimmings, absolutely all the trimmings go on too! Staff are always really friendly and polite. I had my baby shower there which had a beautifully done buffet and was very reasonably priced. My daughter is now 3.5 and enjoys some scrambled egg and a bit of toast. This place really is worth a visit.

Nice big jacket potatoes for about £6 with salad too. They also had lots of filling in it. They do lovely looking milkshakes that I will try next time.

Good range of coffee and panini etc

Have been here a few times for breakfast. Though a little expensive for what you get you can add to your breakfast for an extra .50p per item. Tea n coffee is also seperate. However this is one of the best tasting breakfasts we have had. Their sausages are excellent and I really must ask where they get them from. The service is fast, and the staff are really friendly. Must try an evening meal there on a Friday or a Sunday roast. Keep up the good work guys

I live locally to Taggs coffee shop but haven't been in there before. A friend who goes regularly recommended meeting for lunch there. It's was very enjoyable. I had a jacket potato with cheese, this came with a side salad and coleslaw. It was delicious! There were some lovely cakes that looked very appealing, however I was too full after my jacket potato. The staff were very laid back and friendly which added to the relaxed atmosphere.Good value for money too. I will definitely be making the most of having this delightful coffee shop near by.

Superb food great service and great staff

Stopped off here for a coffee during a bike ride. Was expecting a coffee shop, not a licenced restaurant. Was a nice place, busy inside so sat outside and watched the world go by for a bit. Really nice cakes and who I assume to be the owner was a decent bloke who didn't mind 2 bikers sat outside his shop.

We went to taggs for a cream tea amazing so decided to try a roast what a treat was wonderful all freash veg plenty of meat good service clean friendly going once a month would recommend it and puddings when manager said cheesecake presentation lovely cream ice cream and good value so well done to you and your staff xx

We have lived in the area for years and never been in Taggs. What a mistake! We had a lovely afternoon that turned into evening. Great food, great selection of drinks from coffees and teas to an extensive wine and alcoholic drinks selection.To top it all, lovely atmosphere, service and company in comfortable surroundings. We can’t praise the place enough and will be regular customers from now on.Give it a go! You won’t regret it.

Five of us went to Tags yesterday for afternoon tea for Mother's Day and wow was we spoilt. The best afternoon tea we have ever experienced and so much choice we could not even eat everything but they even made sure we took home what was left over and they even made sure everyone had enough drinks. Excellent surroundings so lovely and clean as with the service we was so well looked after. We have already booked for Sunday dinner in a few weeks.
