Got my order wrong, ruined my night out and still cost me £80 odd for no cutlery for over an hour, a missing drink ordered that never arrived and allergens declared that were not adhered to. A shame as the building is scenic, but it wasn’t worth £80 for olives and inedible food frankly and service that was non existent.

Booked a table at 6:00pm and then was told the kitchen was closed at 6:00pm but they said they would still serve us. We ordered our food I asked for a medium rare steak which came out to be well done so they made it again and it came out fine. Apart from that the food was mediocre. I take it that it’s not really a proper restaurant but the photos online looked nothing like it did when we got there. Lovely staff though!

This is a great place to eat, have a hot drink and/or have a cold beverage. It's a family run restaurant and they make a real effort to ensure the customer service is 10/10. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Medway area in Kent!

After reading all reviews of this place, we were very much looking forward to Sunday lunch here, however it was very disappointing. There were three people behind the bar, but somehow they seemed to be very slow at serving the customers, me and my boyfriend included. If we didn't have a table booked, we would've just left. After ordering our food, the starters came out pretty much straight away, however, it took around 40 minutes for the main meal to come out which is quite a gap in between starters and the main. Unfortunately the main course was not the best roast I've had. The meat was rather dry, and the roast potatoes were overdone to the point they they burnt and very crispy. None of the staff came up to us while we were eating to check if everything was ok. We were both hungry, so we just ate the meal, but it was cemented in us at that point that we were not going to be going back. It's a real shame as I can imagine that it's really beautiful there in the summer. I don't know if we simply had an off day with the staff and the chef not being on par, and unfortunately we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I have never attempted to go to somewhere that classes itself as a bar to be told by a guy at the gate I have to book in!! I will take my money to somewhere that’s interested in it, glad it’s so successful it can afford to turn good money away!!

First time visiting, we had the afternoon tea in the dome. We really enjoyed everything. Katie was our host and she was fabulous ! She couldn’t have done more to help ensure we had a pleasant experience. Thank you again

I booked the dome for my other half’s birthday, the staff were amazing and very friendly! Catered to all our needs. Dome was decorated so nicely! Food was brilliant! Highly recommended.

Fab afternoon tea with unlimited prosecco!

We booked the outside pod for afternoon tea and was not disappointed. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The decor, the food & the service were all 10/10. Would 100% recommend x

We had a fantastic romantic meal together in one of the dome options! Service was amazing and the girls went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Would strongly recommend and we’ll be back again soon! Next stop - Disneyland Paris :) P & L x

What an amazing experience! Treated my mum to afternoon tea and we were blown away. The quality of the food, sweet and savoury, that was on offer is outstanding! From start to finish we were so well looked after, staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough, to ensure our experience was 5*. The outside pods are especially cute, very cosy and so warm. I was concerned, being a chilly November day we may have needed blankets but we were so toasty and content. Please support the team and pay a visit, so much on offer from steak nights to Sunday lunch, it would be a damn shame to loose such an asset to Medway, let’s face it there’s not much to shout about in this area, so when you find an absolute gem such as Tan & Tass’s offerings we must sing their praises from the highest! Great work team, we will certainly be back, thank you.

Wonderful! We enjoyed the most amazing starlit dome dining experience for our son’s birthday. Stunning 5* food and service. The dome was beautifully decorated, warm and cozy. Hoping to book for Christmas! Well done and thank you Tan and Tass

We had a lovely meal here last night. Filet steak and chips. My husband has the peppercorn sauce, which he said was the best he has ever had! I had the blue cheese sauce with mine which was also delicious. I had the lemon tart for dessert and it was the best dessert I've ever had in a restaurant, was absoloutley amazing! We will be returning. Service was absoloultley spot on as well. 10 out of 10. Thankyou. Xx

Brought the family here and with a great atmosphere and such delicious food, i cant help but rave about it. The view is just what you need to truly belive your on holiday and the whole team are SHAMAZING! anyone wants a fantastic memory with totally delicious and diverse menu and surroundings to really make that cold beer or what ever your tipple is taste that bit mire refreshing then I seriously suggest you try the Waterfront Bar and Restaurant out.
