The best place to get Nigerian dishes

Love it. It's always excellent. My favorite is Egusi Soup with Chicken and pounded yam. 10/10.

Just eat drivers are very useless, they don’t want to do their jobs anymore. They don’t deliver foods and click delivered.

The food is average but only 2 pieces of meat in the stew and rice with minimal sauce

My Moi moi was packed in a foil this time around, it’s normally packed in leaf.

The Ewa Agonyin was swimming in palmoil that hadn't been well fried. So it left a funny after taste.

I order it on a regular basis. My favourite is Egusi soup with Chicken and Yam. Often together with the fried Plantain. Very tasty. Just a perfect comfort food.

Home away from home!!! A touch of the Nigerian experience. The food here is amazing, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely try the jollof rice!!!

They still haven’t comprehended how to sieve the egusi. There were so many clumps, I hate ordering food only to have to do the work and cook.

Large clumps of egusi, it needed to be mashed up properly. Also, the pounded yam was hard, I’d suggest using cling film to ensure it retains its softness as the water particles won’t evaporate.

Ah Ahhh!! This food na very nice and tasty o! Food that can make me travel miles away from Kent must be very good. A very lovely lady serves me all the time and food is always on time. Good job guys - I love your hard chicken and mixed okra. My wife loves your beef stew and Ayamashe. I will always eat from there anytime I’m in Gillingham 👍🏽

I’m giving this 4 star because of the pepper soup and chicken, but the moi moi and swallow was not giving…the soup was really delicious but the bad palm oil killed it

Terrible experience. The delivery guy did not knock on the door; he just left the food outside the house, in front of the door, and walked away. I knew he didn't knock because I was in waiting for a knock. I only got to know that the food had been delivered when I received a notification from Just Eat. Not nice at all. Terrible experience!

The bitter leaf soup we ordered wasn't nice at all. Ended up not eating it at all. The leaf wasn't fresh it was frozen leaf.

The swallow was extremely small compared to other restaurants I recently ordered meals

Worst Restaurant Ever!! Worse Than Dog Food!! The food here was the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant. The chicken was old, frozen (probably in the 90s) and was so dry it was a choking hazard. Also the rice was obviously straight from the microwave. BUT what made this 100 times worse was what followed. I told a waitress about the chicken, showing her how bad it was and asked for a replacement. She apologised and a few minutes later she reappeared with some beef. It wasn't great, heavily burnt, but better than the chicken. At the end of the bill I was surprised to see a charge for the beef. I explained that the beef was in REPLACEMENT for the chicken and as such I was not going to pay for the beef. The chef then appeared, which is when it turned into Faulty Towers. Without inspecting the food, the chef defended the dryness of the chicken, saying that is how it's meant to be cooked (again it was clearly old and had been frozen for a long while before being served to me). She insisted that I pay the full bill and completely missed the point of the beef being served in replacement of the chicken. I refused, we went around in circles for a few minutes. Oddly the waitress, just stood there while the chef was having a go, without explaining her part of the conversation with me. After threatening to leave without paying, the chef finally took payment for my meal, minus the beef replacement. This wins the award for the all-time worst restaurant that I've ever been to. I'd rather eat a can of Pedigree Chum than ever set foot in this place again.

Every 3rd Friday of the month is party time from 10pm - 3am. Really fun party.

Absolutely ridiculous delivery time. I was left waiting for over an hour for my food. Starving! This is definitely not the place to order from if you need your food delivered to you on time. Never again!

Definitely one of my favourite places to visit. Authentic West African food, so yummy you may bite your tongue.

Service was brilliant (A rarity these days), as was the food. I was sold on the grilled fish. It was well made and very tasty. The Moi Moi is also delicious! I discovered this restaurant after getting horrible service (and food) from a nearby Nigerian restaurant, just few miles away. I’m glad I found this one and I will highly recommend.

Food was finger Licking good. I enjoyed the Mother's Day Menu special. Fish, fried plantains and Fried yam (Dudu).

If you have a craving for ayamase/Green pepper stew....look no further. They serve the best ayamase sauce in Gillingham. You wouldn't believe what I had to tolerate, before I eventually found them #no cap

The rice was so oily. But a good portion for sure.

The food wasn’t just good. So oily & the beef didn’t taste fresh. The rice was ok though, but I mean it’s rice. I don’t see myself ordering from there again. Stay safe.

A third of my order was missing and it’s been paid for!!

The was ready on time and when I collected it, it was give with a smile. However, the food was not great, absolutely no value for money. Joloff was £9 and allegedly served with meat and plantains. Well, no plantain and two tiny rubbery pieces of meat... And it was cold. I live 1, max 2 minutes from the shop and we started eating it was cold. Suya was very tasty, but again not good value, considering that the small container was half filled with half onion and half tomato, they were probably 2 spoons of meat, which is not great. I mean in London for the same price, you get a proper portion of meat and super hot from the grill. I so wanted to like it, but unfortunately I am disappointed and unless I'm really craving for joloff or suya, I won't be ordering again.

Ordered fried rice with chicken. Delivered fried rice with chicken BONES!!! Utter rip off and YOU OUGH TO BE ASHAMED FOR THIS.

This restaurant refused to deliver my order because I gave further instructions regarding my order. As the last order had ingredients which was quite substandard. They refused to approve it and did not make efforts to contact me. Their customer service is also very poor and substandard .

Food was authentic and tasted great, and service was friendly and fast.

The food was horrible, very surprised that this happened, the fried rice tasted like you got it from uncle ben package, and the assorted meat was bone. Good delivery time though however I will not be ordering from the restaurant again.

This is our favourite place to eat African food, at least once in two weeks! Our favourite meals are Egusi Soup with pounded yam and Jollof Rice with beef and fried plantain. We recommend De Honourables to anyone who loves tasty African food.

I’m really sorry to say that I won’t be ordering from here again. I’m very disappointed; The jollof rice was hard The egusi soup tasted like sunflower oil, I had to drain it and even then I couldn’t eat it because it was very greasy. The moi moi smelt funny so I didn’t eat it The plantain was not ripe It’s unfortunate because delivery and service was good, it’s just that the food did not taste authentic or have the quality.

They accepted my order and after 1hour,they called to say they ran out of food.went to bed without food.

Food was late and cold when arrived! Had to call Just eat to find out what time it would be delivered and was 20 minutes past the time they told me, the delivery driver did apologise and said something about it being an internet order and problem but he did not speak very good English. As for the food, the meat was so tough it was like chewing leather, some of the plantain was hard and cold in the middle and being cold the taste was disgusting. I can honestly say the only nice thing was the puff puffs. I cant tell you how disappointed I am by choosing this restaurant, I was hoping to try something nice and different from the norm. Will think twice next time!!! Needless to say I will not be ordering from here ever again!!
