Ordered a takeaway to satisfy our late night sweet cravings. Got Smores Hot Pocket - Crepe with dark chocolate , marshmallows and fudge cake, topped with white chocolate drizzle and crunchy crumps - The crepe was really good 🤤 & Hot N Cold Choc Cake Volcano Sundae- Hot chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, toffee sauce, milk chocolate shavings and wafer- Sundae was delicious 😋

Nice place a Little cold Good quality of food but nothing extra

Gone down hill so much dark dreary atmosphere won't be returning anymore I been goin here for years it's had its ups and downs but never this bad

Two of us came here on spec on a dreary Wednesday lunchtime. At first sight we almost didn't go inside because it looked rather shabby but while sitting in the car park trying to decide whether to risk it, two people arrived and we asked if they'd ever eaten there which they assured us they had and they'd never had a bad meal. On going inside we received a warm welcome from the Landlord, ordered our food which turned out to be delicious (lamb chops for one of us and the salmon in lemon sauce for me). The chips, potatoes and vegetables were well cooked and the desserts (sticky toffee pudding/plum crumble) were very good too. Service was excellent. It's clearly a pub the locals value because lots of people arrived while we were there and were greeted as friends yet we didn't feel like outsiders at all. Yes, the decor is dated and the fencing outside a bit ramshackle but we couldn't fault anything about the food or service. I'd like to see the front door have a coat of paint because that was the most off-putting thing and made us hesitate as to what to expect inside. Bed and breakfast package at Leeds Castle. On the night of arrival we took the opportunity to eat in the Castle View restaurant. It did disappoint. Service was good. (We wanted to tip they can only take cash tips - Leeds Castle- you need to sort this out, not fair on your restaurant staff). Food was great. Both had pork belly main. Cutlery & glasses nice and clean. Good wine menu. Nice atmosphere with views onto the castle. Ate elsewhere the second night and wished we had another meal here. We had an amazing experience on Easter Sunday. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was fantastic! Our server Cheryl went above and beyond for us. Lovely lady! We will be back!

Food was stale and cold portion size is terrible over an hour for delivery for inedible food

I live around Headcorn area so this shop is local to me. I have used it on and off over the years. Due to the food ect not being very good I started to go to Staplehurst fish bar. I thought I would give Headcorn another go so my husband orderer LARGE cod and chips but got medium this cost £11.00 if what we got was medium I really would not like to see small. Back to Staplehurst, we go

Arrived for a comedy night. Got there early to have a few cocktails and catch up with my friend. When we went to the bar, we waited behind two people already there. Then blonde haired bartender called us over, I asked for a martini. He spoke to the pink haired bartender who said he was busy and then bluntly and unnecessarily rudely told us to “go and wait over there” ( where we had been waiting) in a very unfriendly manner. As if we were doing something wrong. This is the point I’d like to add I NEVER get to go out. This was my one night to go out have a bit of me time, have a laugh and be apart from my toddler that I am with 24/7. So this felt really really sh it. I said well he did call us over and pink hair asks blonde hair “ did you call them over” but doesn’t apologise or say anything to us after speaking to us so rudely. Really bothers me that it was so unnecessary to be rude to us. I’m a polite and nice person. Don’t work in a customer facing role if you can’t be nice to customers.

Lovely experience at the bell today as always. Excellent service from Lauren and Sue. Always a pleasure with these lovely ladies 😊. Mix grill is the best I’ve ever had!

Absolutely the, BEST kebab shop on the high street, Their homemade chilli sauce is incredible And the shish… amazing!!

Lovely old pub, great place to stop for a Sunday drink. Very good pump cider and a light and bitter! Very warm welcome, didn’t eat today but will be back
