Junipers in Maidstone

Arrived for a comedy night. Got there early to have a few cocktails and catch up with my friend. When we went to the bar, we waited behind two people already there. Then blonde haired bartender called us over, I asked for a martini. He spoke to the pink haired bartender who said he was busy and then bluntly and unnecessarily rudely told us to “go and wait over there” ( where we had been waiting) in a very unfriendly manner. As if we were doing something wrong. This is the point I’d like to add I NEVER get to go out. This was my one night to go out have a bit of me time, have a laugh and be apart from my toddler that I am with 24/7. So this felt really really sh it. I said well he did call us over and pink hair asks blonde hair “ did you call them over” but doesn’t apologise or say anything to us after speaking to us so rudely. Really bothers me that it was so unnecessary to be rude to us. I’m a polite and nice person. Don’t work in a customer facing role if you can’t be nice to customers.

We are the only table in the lounge to eat and drink wine. the staff didn't care at all. It wasn't very friendly.

Decent portions quick service and delicious food. Bill was £40 for 2 people. Coffee was amazing too.

Would love to see this place brought back as a club even on certain nights of the week. It was the one place in Maidstone I actually enjoyed going for a night out because of the R&B music and the dance floor. I stopped going when it was made a sit down cocktail bar.

Fantastic atmosphere, good for drinks and conversation, wide range of cocktails.

Unique cocktails but fairly pricey, they offered us table service but at what cost? Anyway there were fun cocktails, they were probably £9-12 each but it's a nice experience. They also do Martini and g&t trees.

This place is a nice for having a beer and food. The staff is super friendly. I like the pizza here. The cocktail's looking good. I tried a Gin Tonic and it was great. I recommend it this venue to catch up and have a good time...

Rubbish cocktails! Espresso Martin is disgusting. Negroni cocktail, you need to use the correct ingredient! Waste of money!

Couldn't hear my peers as we were sat right under a loud speaker and service was very slow but the cocktails and vibe made up for it

There was no atmosphere now everyone is seated at tables. The DJ was bang on, but no one up and dancing, I miss the dance floor! Excellent waitress service however, we didn't have to wait once we were seated.

Poorly made cocktails. Not worth a visit I’d say. Plenty of better standard drinks available elsewhere. A shame as decor is quite nice, but drinks are being made using poor quality ingredients and taste synthetic as a result.
