Even when eating in, no plate or cutlery. Disposable cups which is not the environmental way to serve coffee. Food not quite warm enough, tables not cleaned, toilet when eventually given access by staff smelly.

Last night my friends and I came for dinner and not one of us walked away happy with our meal or service. When we have been previously the food was Italian and we were spoilt for choice with food and drinks leaving us all highly recommending the restaurant. My partner's Guinness came out unsettled and with a huge head on it, the menu has become small and 'authentic' which isn't shown online as my friend looked it up before hand looking forward to Italian dishes etc. I opted for the beef ragu and if that was made with a lovely tomato sauce it would taste 100% better rather then how it was served looking bland and tasteless with the only good thing about it being the pulled beef. The garlic bread was basically bread with 1/4 of it having garlic oil on it having to ask for oil to dunk the (bread) in. We also ordered the sharing platter which for the money was also disappointing, all the while having the kill fruit flies throughout our whole meal. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this restaurant again and felt robbed of £165.

Honestly, the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! The batter was perfect! Lovely and light, and not greasy in the slightest! Wonderful meal, thank you!

No food is served unless u come in on a Sunday and they occasionally put a spread out of hot food etc

Absolutely brilliant food and atmosphere. New management, Max and Dom, have done an amazing job redecorating and creating up to date menus. The atmosphere is cosy, the food was lovely, couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend a visit!

Excellent food big food sizes my daughter was full up they were pretty late in opening up and was told too come back at half 12 so we did but had too wait or another 15 mins as wasn't quite ready too do lunch but gave us all free drinks all four of us for waiting which was a nice gesture loved mike the pug Such a cutiex

Absolutely love this place! We come to Hastings for the May day run, and always go here. But have also been here anytime we come to Hastings. Went today, just me and hubby, had Haddock and chips, Scampi, chips and salad, food was Amazing ,as usual, and great service! Can't recommend this place enough. If you're in Hastings, this is deffo the Fish and Chips place to go!

A little disappointed this time round, chips were warm not hot as they have been on previous occasions.
