Great value for money, delivered earlier than stated and hot!

I actually quite like the food here. I won’t be ordering from here again though. Aida messed someone else delivery up. And rather than own up to an honest mistake they said I stole their food. They didn’t stop there though they actually gave this customer my full address. It is illegal for a takeaway establishment to hand out customers details to other customers without permission. Obviously Aida never seeked my permission.

2 hours late but was NYE ordered early to avoid will have to eat it in 2025 as heading out lol

Food was over an hour late. Rang the restaurant to ask for an update and he said the driver is 3 mins away. I then get an app update with a completely different time, much longer than the 3 mins I was told. Rang the restaurant again and he accused me of cancelling the order. After an hour past the original timing the food arrived and it was bland and at room temperature. Would not order from here again or recommend to anyone.

Delicious food with generous portions set meal for two with fresh ingredients there was left overs! Daal soup mild buhna peshwari. Naan egg rice Fantastic thank you 🙏

Absolutely nothing good about this meal. Onion Bhaji was not cooked properly, soggy and falling apart. Tandoori mixed grill had HALF a reshmi kebab, literally torn in half. Chilli naan was literally just a naan with some chilli powder shook on it.

First time ordering and I was quite impressed. Meal arrived on time and piping hot. Flavours were good and the meal was good value.

Excellent as always. Still the best In St Leonards.

Got food poisoning, food was horrible tasteless a passanda was bright orange! Mango chutney watered down. Horrible spice in saag aloo. Waited 1hr 10 mins for delivery on a Tues! Avoid at all costs

Usually on time or early but Ordered at 1730 delivered at 2000 but food was good when it eventually arrived I did call the restaurant although the link did not work on just eat

curry was tasteless, sag aloo had a horrible spice inedible. mango chutney was watered down. only nice thing was naan bread anx poppadoms.

Aida used to be the best Indian takeaway in Hastings. I hadn't ordered from them for a couple of years but the food was very poor. Tired spices, hard meat, dried out veg, sadly my last time ordering.

Would have full marks but only 7 wings and not 8 as stated on menu :(

Food was delicious and delivered quickly - tikka main was very good in particular

Dahl soup, Bombay potatoes and Naga lamb were the only acceptable dishes in the whole order...chicken biryani, saag aloo and onion naan we're very bland, dry and cold...popodum was very chewy not crispy

the food was really lovely very flavorful the chicken was nice and the rice was beautifully cooked and the naans where soft and had soo much flavour to them

I am a regular customer for deliveries from this restaurant and not just because not too many places come out to Sedlescombe. Food always very tasty. Never had a poor meal over several years. Highly recommended

Not sure what’s happened here, the food is normally good. Everything tasted really bland, and had no seasoning.

The food was nice but one of our starters was forgotten. When I phoned to ask about it, he said I could have it next time. I said I’d like it with THIS order. The guy said ok, but they never sent it. The sides were great, the mains were a bit bland.

The WORST take away I've ever had. The two sides that turned up weren't what we ordered (ordered onion and mushroom bhajis and received samosas and a box of mushrooms). My curry was then disgusting! 🤢 Tasteless and watery! Won't ever order again!

My dessert order was incorrect. And methi gosht is supposed to have methi/fenugreek leaves which it didn’t contain. I asked for garlic rice in the notes I got pilau. The food was good but wasn’t what I ordered.

The takeaway I ordered took about one and three quarters hours to arrive. When it did, it was dripping with ghee, was cold, tasteless and sloppy with each dish almost identical to the next. The meat was hard and full of gristle. It was extremely unpleasant and I can't believe the good reviews. NEVER AGAIN!

AVOID!!! The portions of onion bhajis were tiny and cold and mint sauce is watered down. Just eat website said 7 portions of lamb chops and we only got 4. The restaurant said the information was incorrect on the Just Eat website. Poppadoms were damp/soggy (not crisp). Chana Bhajee had no taste. Paneer Shaslik cubes were tiny and cold. Sooo disappointed. Used to order regularly from here - will never order again! All food was cold!

Was a bit late, but i wasn't too bothered about it food was still hot and plentiful and very tasty enjoyed it very much

I bought the meal for 1, which had choices. I received 1 out of 3 of my choices only and the food was cold and an extra plain rice which I did not want or need. I called them and eventually got through. They said they had tried to contact me to tell me they had run out of what I ordered, but I had no messages or missed calls. Very disappointing unfortunately

I'm 42 years old. I've eaten thousands of takeaways and curry is my favourite. This is the worst food I have ever had. You can't sell anything with the word "naga" in it without even the slightest hint of chilli. The mango “delight“ has absolutely no flavour. A mango curry should be sweet and tangy. This is beige dirge. The mango chutney is watered down orange slop. The mint rayita has no mint in it. I'm at an absolute loss as to how it's possible to make food this bland. I eat takeaway away a lot, in towns and cities all over the country. This is COMFORTABLY the worst food I have ever had. I'm genuinely astounded. Hastings is stacked with amazing food choices. This is not one of them. Go somewhere else.

It was delivered very late but it was worth waiting for as the food was hot and delicious; and the complimentary poppadoms were appreciated. Very friendly and cheerful driver despite it being an extremely filthy evening weather-wise.

Ordered at 7.30. Delivery estimate 8.40-9. Phoned at 9.10 told it will be there in a minute. Excuse was they have been busy. Finally arrived at 9.30 and although it was an ok curry it certainly wasn't worth the wait.

They advertised 35 to 45 minutes i ordered it at5.30 pm it still hasn’t arrived at 7.05 pm I called them and they said it still hasn’t left the shop and came out with a load of mumbo jumbo,saffice to say i will not order from them again.

Always great! Don't know where all of their old reviews went but this is a solid, takeaway - our go-to for sure!

Freezing cold after it took 1.40 to get here

Supposed to arrive at 710 to 740. Arrived at 9pm. Didn’t reply to the text message and the phone was permanently engaged. The food has always been excellent here and we have ordered once every month since lockdown. Always previously been great but they had a mare today

Rung 3 times and was told it was on its way. Took 2.30hrs before food arrive. Was then cold and puree was thick and inedible. Spent 35.00, not even a complimentary poppadoms. Shame but won't use again

Fantastic food. Choose the meal deal ...choosing a starter, main, rice. I choose the chicken tikka masala with pilau rice. I had the onion barges. There was so much deliciousness I fed myself over two days. Pictures show half of the meal. Best £15 I have spent. Lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

If I could leave no stars I would. Didn’t realise the business had been taken over in the last few weeks. Take away was awful. Curry was full of water, all sides were cold and undercooked. Called to ask to speak to someone and they shouted at me and hung up. Before hanging up he told me I could order another curry (I have to pay for) and if I don’t like that one then he can look into it. Would never order another curry here again

If you haven’t tried it yet.. hurry up. Top 5 curry houses in the Uk.. easily. If you like a white boy curry they’ve you covered BUTT they really excel in authentic Bangladeshi/ Indian flavours. Served me 100+ dishes over 3 years.

Worst curry I’ve ever had my food arrived barley warm my onion Bhaji was undercooked and soggy the lamb chops are very chewy the only difference with the curry’s was the meat choice the curry and the bhuna are very very bland almost baby food consistency with no flavour with a watery taste couldn’t tell the difference really is lacking flavour and the Bombay aloo and saag aloo was just watery mush it’s a shame really was looking forward to a lovly curry as recommended so thought we would try somewhere other than our usual but ended up very disappointed im just going to stick to my regular curry house as this experience had put me off trying new places and if your thinking of trying this place for your first time please don’t order from here

Staff are friendly and accommodating however the food quality isn't up to standards. I've given two stars purely based on good customer service. Food was bland and I honestly couldn't tell one dish to the next, bombay potatoes were like huge orange boiled potatoes 😞 really wanted this to be good but unfortunately I won't order again from here.

Hello Aida Cuisine, we used this establishment for the first time yesterday, I must say I have eaten curry from all over the UK and I must say this is top notch, very flavoursome with nice healthy portions of garlic rice, keep up the good work, will definitely return.

All I wanted was quick delivery and fantastic food. And that's exactly what I got, thank you Aida for an excellent meal 👏🏽

Me & my partner tried the new mixed donner kebab, masala fries & tandoori chicken wings, the mixed kebab was simply delicious, the meat was juicy and tender, the additional of the yoghurt sauce took the flavours to a new level, a far cry from the usual garlic mayo but a welcome change to the what you expect a donner kebab to be. The chicken wings were apparently fantastic too (she wasn't up for sharing those)

Bland brown dishes, no love or care taken, chicken in 3 curries was overcooked. Just below bog standard. Note (as I can't comment on the reply): No, curries are not usually brown. At least not the exact same shade (and texture). Just so you know for future reference, the red colour on authentic curries comes from high quality chilli powder and herbs and spices such as paprika and turmeric. The food was bland and under par, if your auntie came over for dinner you would never serve what you served to us. Just sort it out and stop making excuses Note: Note: No mention of the over cooked, dry chicken? Tasted like it was at least twice cooked Note note note: can we have a refund?

I have used this Restaurant for some time - I will NOT use them ever again my delivery was supposed to be just after 1700 - at 1750 they phoned and said they could not fulfill my order as they only had one driver GOODBYE AIDA - kiss mine xc

Got myself a Lamb Rogan Josh a couple of weeks back but frankly the meat was quite grisly and disappointing. I thought the Lidl Deluxe Rogan Josh was better.

Have ordered from Aida five times since January. The first meal was excellent, but unfortunately each meal since then has got progressively worse. I gave this take-away one last try today. The Chicken Dansak was utterly bland and had clearly been cooked without any care. It was so bad that I threw it in the bin. A waste of £16 and I will not being going back again.

Fantastic. I eat and cook a lot of Indian/Asian food. This is honestly the most flavourful Indian takeaway food I have had. Even the hotter dishes are spiced so that flavours are preserved. I now never use anywhere else as nothing could live up to Aida. Just a shame that Just eat now says they won't deliver to our postcode when I know that they do. Minor inconvenience of a phone call totally worth it.

Tried Aida for the first time last night with some friends... Delivery was on time, temperature ok could've been hotter. I ordered a dish with chicken, minced lamb and "spices" (description on the menu was very vague but looked somewhat similar to one I've had elsewhere so thought I'd try it) - - - where the spices were I've no idea?! The food had no flavour - had it been served to me not knowing where it was from I'd never have guessed it was a curry, from an Indian takeaway!!! Bland, tasteless and limp. Not appealing to the eye either - drowned in oil. Order garlic rice which on opening worried me as it was VERY pale in colour and on closer inspection tasted of absolutely nothing!!! Bombay potatoes consisted of VERY pale looking boiled potatoes with something sprinkled on top - - Tasteless and felt as though it had been rushed with no love or care put into making it. The garlic naan was the best part of the meal though it was a very sorry excuse for a naan... Limp and flavourless. Poppadoms freshness was questionable also! I hate writing a bad review but we were really, very disappointed as it ruined our entire evening after looking forward to a takeaway all week! What a waste of time, money and calories!!! Never again!

If I could choose no stars I would. The worst curry Ive ever had. The good reviews must have been from a lucky night I guess. I dont often leave reviews but I'm not a happy customer! Bland, tastless food if thats what you could call it and nasty anemic rice. Wrong part of order sent, orders onion bajis, received bland greasy, wet floppy mushrooms, fowl. Think they must have used someone with no cooking experience and no palate. Disgusting. How can they charge for such muck? Waste of alot of money and so disappointing when you're looking forward to a curry and trying a new place. I wouldnt risk it again! Yuk. Dont offer me another please, I'd rather eat out of the bin.

Only discovered this take away today and having read the earlier reviews took a chance. Wow what a great find, our meal was absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. It arrived piping hot and was delivered by a very courteous driver. We will certainly be using this excellent restaurant again and highly recommend others to 👍

I ordered a "traditional" (code word for English style curries) dopiaza pilau rice and chilli naan... so not exactly a good representation of their full menu or specials, the dopiaza was very disappointing. They did get plus points for the amount of chicken in the curry but there wasn't much sauce and the flavour was lacking. Pilau rice and naan were excellent tho.

This is an ace takeaway curry house. The food is good. It is also unabashedly hot where mentioned on the menu. This is as it should be and most satisfying. We have been regular customers for years.

Have had quite a few meals from here over several months , very good delivery service , polite people . The food has been consistently good in quality , portions and flavours , No complaints at all . Keep up the good work

Absolutely delicious curry last night thank you Aida. Our first time ordering from Aida and the best curry we've had for a long time. Was a little late due to current situation but well worth the wait. Our new go to "takeaway" from now on 🤩

Tasteless gravy rather then curry ...no salad with the starter and frozen chicken pieces rather then fresh ...don't bother

We have been ordering take-away from Aida for some months now and would not go anywhere else. Lamb Rogon Josh is the stuff of dreams, and has converted my husband from non-curry lover to curry-obsessive! As for me....I could eat the entire menu!!!! AIDA you are amazing.
